Maximus finished absorbing what he was seeing, trying to lay out a plan of action when Lorien mentioned the maps. "Hmm." He padded over, pulling on a pamphlet and looking at the map. "Perhaps we should visit the animal section first. They have got to have something about the wolves of the area."
One of the women behind the desk was older, thin, with a small nose and tight lips. Spotting the wolves, she immediately got to her feet. "And what is the purpose of your visit?" She asked, her sharp, small eyes scrutinizing the canines.

Lorien lightly smiled. "Yes...perhaps that would be best." She was a bit surprised when the old woman addressed them. "Well...we're just looking for info for him to figure out about Rome and pieces of his past." She held a paw pointed towards Maximus, but after she said that she felt like she wanted to slap herself for the wording.

Maximus looked up, ears flipping back as Lorien spoke. "What she means is-" He didn't get to finish though, as the woman screamed and he jumped to stand protectively in front of Lorien.
The woman tilted her chin down, looking at Lorien over her glasses with wide eyes. She had thought these canines looked odd, but speaking?! Having never encountered a moonlit before, it took her a moment to realize what was happening. Then when Maximus opened his mouth, she screamed loudly, hands flying to her mouth. When she was out of air, she fell into a faint.

Lorien looked down upset. "I-I'm sorry...I..." She couldn't say anything else. "I wasn't sure what to tell her. I got scared...I'm..." She almost reached a paw out towards Maximus then retreated it realizing this was not the time to do that. She still stared at the ground. Oh how she wanted to say something, but she didn't know what to say.

((that's up to you! She's only going to be in for a couple posts anyway. Make her as mean or sweet as you like. And, if you want, she can be used to moonlits. Or, like the other woman, have never seen them before. Totally up to you. ))
Maximus stared at the fainted woman a moment before his fur started fluffing up angrily. How rude of this woman to treat them in such a fashion! Screaming in their faces and then fainting! And now he heard Lorien getting upset behind him.
Keeping in front of Lorien, he spun to face the other secretary behind the desk. "You! What is the meaning of this female's disgraceful and offensive behavior?!"

Lorien glanced up at the words being used. She still remained silent for she didn't want to make the situation worse.
The other woman glanced down at the angry moonlit and the scared looking one. She then looked towards her coworker. She sighed a bit disappointed. "I'm terribly sorry...normally we don't allow other animals in the museum. She's not used to seeing moonlits" She shook her head. "If you want though, I can probably talk to my supervisor and say you're with me just to show what kind of creatures there are in the world." She bit her lip. "That's the only thing I can think up, but if you have any other ideas do tell me."
(Alright, well I'll make the other one a bit easier to talk to XD)

(( D8 OMG I'm sorry for taking so long! *face/desks multiple times* ))
Reacting to the second secretary's calm reaction, Maximus' fur smoothed back down. He glanced at the fainted woman, then back to the conscious human. "We would appreciate any help you can give us. Thank you. However, we are looking for the canine or animal history section of this museum. Could you point the way to us?"

(Bad girl...although I can be just as lazy and my moonlits know it. sweatdrop )
The secretary had on a calm smile. "Alright. Just wait here for a moment and I'll see what I can do. It shouldn't take too long." She then disappeared behind a door to go and talk to her manager.
Lorien watched as the secretary disappeared. "I like her a lot better then the other one, although maybe the other one was scared of us?" She wasn't sure what to say since she tried to sympathize with both sides if possible.

Maximus nodded to the woman, turning and poking his nose at Lorien's forehead with a chuckle. "She may have been. It looked a though she was frightened, and would explain the screaming... We will have to make sure she is alright on our way out." He gave Lorien a nod. "We didn't know she would react like that. We can't be held blame."

Lorien nodded her head. "Right although I'm looking forward to seeing what info they have here."
After a couple of minutes or so the secretary came back. "Ok I can let you see the area, but I'll have to stay with you so others don't ask questions or get suspicious. Just don't mind me. I'll be more of an observer then anything else. Or if you have any questions or need anything feel free to ask." She then started to the main hall. "So what section are you looking for?"

Maximus also nodded. "I am as well. Hopefully, there will be some helpful information to aquire."
He looked up at the secratary and gave her a small bow. "Thank you very much. We need the animal history section, particulary canine, recent years. Perhaps... the last one hundred years? Might as well try to get the big picture."

The secretary lightly nodded her head. "Alright. That section will be this way." She then headed down a hall of ancient history of Rome. "We have to go by this section first then we should be near the elevator which will take us to the second floor."
Lorien was like a child in the museum. She was slowly behind the others staring at the displays. "Why do they use spears to hunt animals? That's so sad."
The secretary was rather patient minded and turned around. "The humans needed food source and hunted animals for their survival that way." She looked at the display before heading off back to the elevator. "Well here we are. Next floor should be the animal history."

Maximus followed the woman silently, not giving the displays much attention until Lorien mentioned them. He glanced over, but was less affected than she by the sight. He couldn't recall ever seeing anything like it before, but the primative spears seemed almost common sense. He flipped his ears back, but said nothing of what he felt.
He hesitated at the elevator though, having never seen one before. "You're sure this box is secured?" He asked, pawing at the elevator floor a moment before putting his weight onto that paw.

Once they got to the floor they were at, both exited. "Well here is the area that would describe animals in this area." She looked around. "Anything in particular or can you go from here?"
Lorien watched Maximus for a moment almost knowing he wanted to say something, but she kept her mouth shut since she didn't want to irritate him. She looked down at the ground wondering what Maximus was looking for if he knew himself.
(Sorry for taking so long. I've been brain dead from work plus busy)

Having survived the elevator ride, Maximus stepped out of the box in relief. "Well..." He cocked his head. Would it be so simple? "It would be about moonlits like us. Or wolves with magic and could talk, maybe just smart wolves?"
