"Who wants to think about such things, Glynnic? Do you want to watch your parents waste away to nothing? To know that the minutes you spend with them might very well be their last?" She closed her eyes and shook her head, crying out into her pillow. "Nobody does. My mother is so busy comforting my father that she hardly has time for me. My father worries about my grandmother and my grandmother sits and stares listlessly. You've become frustrated by my constant mood swings and unexplained behavior. I don't know how to help you understand what I'm feeling except to say that someone has taken a knife and stabbed me over and over again until every day I lose a bit more blood and watch a bit more of myself trickle out. Can't you stop the flow, Glynnic? Can't you just be here for me?"

"I'm trying and you won't let me! Instead you'd rather be angry with me!" It wasn't angry yelling, more of pleading yelling. This was the frustrating part. "No one wants to think about such things but they eventually happen. We all hope that such things happen when the time is right and not a moment before." Shaking his head and walking over, pulling her up off the bed and into his arms, holding her a moment before leaning her back some so she could look at him. "We'll go back to Farhian...and if I have to make people stop being so damn self centered, then I will."

She sank into his arms, grateful to have them about her shivering and shaking body and her tears began pouring fresh. "I'm sorry, Glynnic. I'm sorry I put you in such a position for my own selfish desires. I knew better and I still did it." She sobbed into his shoulder, turning her face into his neck until her tears had quieted down to hiccups. Gazing into his face, she saw the love he had for her and shook her head. "No. That's precisely the point, Nyc. My father has my mother for comfort and my grandmother has my father. I'm out in the cold but I'm not. I'm here with you and you bring me more comfort than any of them ever could. I'm only sorry I took so long in accepting it."

"You got that right Kyst, Isle is too distracting to be paying attention to anything else. I would trip over my own feet if she did her best to distract me." Though he gave a nod and smiled at the sea elf a little. "I know my friend, I've just been busy with a few things for the while but since the season is going to be changing soon I will have some free time on my hands. I will certainly make a trip down to Selkor some time soon." Though soon Galesen stopped and raised an eyebrow before shaking her head. "Talithia needs to at least let her people see their princess, I mean come on I know she loves her daughter but Gods the little one needs to be let out eh?" A small chuckle to that before he danced a little more then fully stopped. "Been able to remember that question Kyst?"

"You men stop saying that. I'm not trying to distract anyone!" It really did bother her that that kept being said. Like all they saw was something to have grown up fun with and all that could be focused on. Crossing her arms in annoyed fashion.
Well...this was good. Yes he was going to call this a good thing. Wrapping her tighter in his arms he nuzzled at her silvery white hair lightly. It was good she was getting this out of her system. "Now stop being silly Songbird. Let happier things come your way and let the bad slip away."

"Does she? Why? Talithia dotes on her daughter and that is likely the only child they will have. After the Queen lost her first one, she has become a bit protective." Uh-oh, Isle was unhappy. He glanced over at Galesen for a moment and shook his head then gently tugged the female elf over to sit with him on the fountain's base. "A teacher must stop teaching and allow her student to showcase what he's learned." He gently wrapped an arm around Isle and tugged her to sit in his lap so he could whisper in her ear. "Isleandra, it is not your body that distracts but the way the music loves you and you love it. There is nothing more mesmerizing than seeing someone embrace their craft." Glancing back up at Galesen. "Not yet."
It was a very good thing and she clung to him just as tightly as he was clinging to her. Nuzzling his neck in return, she nipped lightly and then pulled away to wipe her cheeks. "Happier things? Like a clear face? I bet I look awful right now."

Galesen gave a small nod to Kyst. "I see, though you think she would allow her daughter to swim outside the castle once in awhile?" Though suddenly it seemed that Isle was upset and that was a problem. Though the glance he got from Kyst was odd, and things seem to get even more odd when it seemed that the sea elf pulled Isle in for a more close interaction which got an eyebrow raise from Galesen even though he knew Kyst always did such a thing. "Alright then." Still, a look at Isle, not such a good way to spend the day, if one were to upset a Rainsong then they better find a place to hide if they can't soothe the storm.

She let him tug her down with the intent of ignoring him as if he was indeed just a chair to be graced with her butt. However, he seemed to know what to say to soothe her feathers and keep rainclouds she could conjour at bay...at least for a while. She didn't want to be told that she was pretty and thus distracting. She wanted to be appreciated for the mastery of her craft ineed. Music was her life and all that went with it. Looking to Galesen then, "Are you going to stop just because I did?"
He couldn't help but laugh lightly and reach his hands for her face and framing it with his hands, letting his thumbs brush away more tears. "You look just as pretty as ever Songbird. You're just a little bird who's been caught in the rain is all. Such creatures dry fast and start singing again."

"Something might happen to her. The princess has plenty of space to swim and play and that child lacks for nothing, I promise you. When it's time, Draewen will step in and begin to convince Talithia of the proper course of action. The seas will be stormy for a few days but they'll eventually calm and everything will be as it once was." He knew without her saying it that he'd soothed her and made her feel much better. He felt better knowing it, too. "Yes, Gale, dazzle us with your learned skill." Dropping a gentle kiss and nuzzle to her cheek. "Mmm, you smell divine, Rainsong."
"A ruffle of our feathers and all the water is shaken off. What did I ever do to deserve you?" She watched him for a long moment and then threw her arms around him and hugged him tightly. "I hate being angry with you. And I really am sorry."

"Well I can't wait for that day." A small smile to that and he had to chuckle a little, but then he stopped as it seemed he had to dance. Though Galesen looked at isle for a moment and frowned a bit, he felt like he was being punished here a little for that comment, and Kyst got to sit down and do nothing. A look to the sea elf and he raised an eyebrow before he sighed a little. "Well it's not like I could just dance forever, but I guess I can continue on for a little while longer." An inward sigh to that before he went on dancing, not that he minded but he had to wonder why it was just him who had to dance, he knew it was his lesson and all but still it bothered him a little. Though soon enough he forgot about it and continued on dancing as best he could, it wasn't his greatest skill but at least he could put some effort into it.

Just watching him, she knew that he wasn't enjoying what he was doing. Which made her frown again before rolling her eyes. "Fine Galesen, if you don't enjoy doing it then there's no point to doing it." And here she thought they were enjoying themselves but apparently he wasn't. Turning a look to Kyst over her shoulder she gave him a smile and a nuzzle. "It's my shampoo, I changed it."
"You did something right, that's all I know." Nuzzling at her and giving her a squeeze in comfort as she hugged him. "Believe me, it's no picnic on my end either. And I hate yelling at you...but you really can't ask me those kinds of things, especially in public."

"Did you, really?" He leaned in and took a deep whiff of her hair then laughed. "You certainly did and to something that smells of the sea. A rainstorm, perhaps? There's a bit of you in there and a bit of me, but that could just be because you took a swim recently." Trying once more to soothe her as Galesen continued to piss her off.
She laughed, "You're supposed to tell me that it's you who doesn't deserve me." That was how some did it anyhow. She knew she was in the wrong the moment after she'd said it and regretted it even now. "I can't ask you that sort of thing ever. It's not a fair question and there's no way to answer it and still be truthful. We are on different levels, different aspects of your mind and heart. I know that and understand it, but I was so upset that I reacted without thinking."

Galesen stopped and looked at Isle or a moment, she wanted him to stop now? Well great she seemed more pissed off and he was a it surprise the weather had not even changed a little bit then. Still, he stop and just said, "Alright then." And then he did feel bad because he just probably screwed up something nice from her. So he just walked over to the seats and sat down with a small sigh, if he knew that she was going to become upset he probably would of stuck to his magic so she could enjoy herself still. So that little thought in mind he raised one of his fingers and just began to move it, a trail of cold air began following his finger as he played around with his magic, he needed to focus and clear his head, this was one of the better ways of doing so.

"There's some sea salt in it now." However her eyes were still watching Galesen, still trying to measure if he was happy or not. Well he was still sighing and now he was going to be quiet and apparently just play with his magic. Great, she ruined his day. That didn't make her happy at all. Giving her own sigh she propped her elbow on her knee and dropped her chin into her hand. "Anyone else do anything interesting?"
"Yeah well, I'm different. You're supposed to like that about me." He was happy that the tension was lifted somewhat. Another squeeze to her before letting one hand brush back through her hair. "Good that you understand...because I was dreading trying to explain that all without sounding like a jackass."

Obviously his presence had caused problems. If he'd been interrupting them, they really should have said something about it and he would have kindly taken himself off. But Isle was free to do whatever she wanted and it hadn't seemed like another elf would create tension. Galesen seemed...almost jealous of him. That was confusing and rather foreign to Kyst. "I'm staying out of trouble but it looks like you two are trying to create your own. I'll leave you to it."
"No need for explanations. I once asked Daddy Kieran and he explained to me about how there's no comparison between them. Sometimes the people come first and sometimes I come first. As long as we both know and understand that subconsciously, all should be well. It will be the same when I'm Queen."
