My band theme is "Things That Go Pop". It's kind of like that old kiddies' song, "Pop Goes The Weasel". I'm honestly not too thrilled about it though...It doesn't sound awesome or anything. sweatdrop We normally play "Darker" themes, like "The Nightmare Before Christmas", "The Mummy", or "Medusa". The plus side is that we have like 4 pianists parts that sound really pretty and we also have a guitar part which is cool. surprised

It sounds really creative to me! If the music and drill is done just right, I'm sure you guys can make it awesome. =D

We were going to do 'The Mummy', but the music and the sets weren't done over in china (dunno why) so now we're doing MAMMA MIA! HERE I GO AGAIN! T-T
and we had to watch the movie for band camp and now we all hate the music. Since we play MAMMA MIA over and over and over and over. *sigh* you get the idea.

i is here soup we're doing Queen. Crazy Little Thing Called Love We Will Rock You Bohemian Rhapsody Okay, I'm gonna freak you out for a minute. Where do you go to school at? Because a school in my area is doing a Queen show, with the same songs. Our show is New World Symphony. We've got a new arrangement of it, and the music's really cool. We added a 64 measure drum break in the second movement, and it sounds really cool.

Our theme this year is 'Rituals'...Our arranger has this thing for foreign instruments, so every year it's some weird music. This year's songs are:
Laturgical Dances
Shadow Rituals
Bachanal
The snares have to use dread locks for some parts, and they're annoying and tend to get stuck in the stick bags...

Our show is called magic and we have this guy who does magic tricks and illusions and another guy who does acrobatics and its basicly like a circus xd

Our show this year is called "Essence" and it's a variation of the songs, My Immortal, Bring Me to Life, and Hello, by Evanescence. It may sound really lame. But the music is SOOOOO cool. I personally like last years better...it was "Enigma". But "Essence" is really good too. We've already placed in 2nd and in 1st at competition. I really like it though.

We did a "Gypsteria" Theme for 08 ( I don't know what we did for 09 because I moved to a different country ).
