Suzume looked at Lana, witha confuzed face for the sudden outburst of laughter, Suzume, being the usualy quiet,mysterious, and calm one, was just plain, downright confuzed by such an inpulsive motion, wondering why such could be, she got quiete a few thoughts in her mind but decided to let it go and not ponder on what she though were 'minor' events

Rhell pulled off the road and drove behind a hill where they would be hard to see. He stepped out of the car and pocketed the key. "Set up camp everyone. Lacey, Suzume, Mara, i'll help you with the big tent. Toran and Mel set the small. Im taking first watch up on the hill, who wants to patrol the camp?" Rhell then looked at Lana. "Sorry if it seems odd or something, but it might be best if you sleep in the car, Lana. I can pull the roof over you head and try and see if we have anything to use as a blanket. This way if someone goes after the jeep you can alert us somehow, and you will be alone to heal your leg while you rest." Rhell explained. He went around to the trunk and grabbed the large tent and his sleeping mat. He layed the thin mat out on the ground and set down the tent equipment.

Lacey immediately volunteered.
"I can see quite clearly at night. I'll go after Suzume takes watch."
She walked over to the others and helped set up the tent.

"Haha, alright, I'll sleep here," Lana said in response to Rhell's comment about sleeping in the car. "Seems perfectly reasonable to me, considering I'm probably the weakest one here," she added. Although the comment may have come across as awkward, Lana was simply thinking of something to say and didn't realize it at the time. She also volunteered to keep watch for an hour or so when Rhell mentioned it.
They must have lots of nightly bandits here to come and raid our stuff and mug us out here... she thought, noting the curiosities of this world. Some parts of it were completely different, yet there was still an underlying pulse that beat in the same way that her world did...

Rhell Stopped before the dead tree a few feat above him. It was dried from the beating sun and hung over pitifully. Rhell examined the weak points and decided where he would hit it. It didn't look at all hard to break even with no axe or anything. He began focusing and then used his ability, he struck the tree fiercely and the four inch branch collapsed and the tree fell to Rhell's right side. He picked up the collapsed wood and carried it on his shoulder back to the camp. Rhell dropped it by in what was about the center and dug a small fire pit in the cracked dirt with his feet. He took out a switch blade knife from his belt pouch and started cutting at the small excess branches for more tinder. "Suzume, I need you to burn through the trunck to make some fuel pieces." Rhell opened the trunk and looked at the provisions. They had bread, water, meats, and various other things. Rhell grabbed a rag, then closed the trunk and sat down against one of the tires. He began trying to rub of the blood splatter from his face and arms. He threw the cloth back in and just took a moment to rest and ponder things.

Mel finished setting up his tent with Toran. He wiped some sweat from his forehead and took his cap off. He walked over and stood by Lacey. "So... what do you think about Rhell and Lana?" Mel asked looking with a bit of concern at the tired Rhell staring off into the sky. His face seemed pale besides the occasional stain of dried blood on him.

Lacey connected the tent to the wires and continued setting up camp.
She looked at Mel.
"Lana and Rhell seem to have much in common. They don't seem like have anywhere that they can really call home. Lana seems to be very analytical. Rhell seems to be more of a man of action. They are both good people."

After a couple of minutes of being a little confused about what Mel said, it finally occurred to her what Mel wanted to hear.
"Oh! Sorry. I think they do have a lot in common. I think that anything is possible, and it's likely they could be from the same place."
