aAce ran over to the hole and stood next to it. He fired three arrows at Krious. Darkness then surronded every one except him, Rikku and Erick. They were throne down the hole and Ace ju,ped down after them.

RIkku slid in once she was sure everyone else was in and she sealed it with the root again and began running with the group. " Don't worry about getting lost because all we have to do tunnel up and we will be at the surface again.. but we should if we are lucky wind up in a very large very roomy cavern-ish room... it is like a run down city.. there are lots of broken down buildings and things we can hide in but we should try to avoid using our powers, because they are like beacon to him... I think anyways."

Erik had stuck with everyone, knowing it was his one chance out. "All right, it's good that we made it out of that spot, but we still have problems. Krious can easily pick up on anyone using an elemental power. So, if we want to stay away from him, no using your powers. Also, I need to get to Opalesant City. I have an old friend there, she could probably help us." Erik's memories were slowly coming back. It seems that a veil of darkness had kept his memories blank and his heart silent. But somehow, the veil was lifting...why? Maybe she could tell him why.

"Last I checked, they don't care about people who can manipulate nature, they only kill those who follow the religion of water. Can't remember why, though." Erik wasn't kidding, he was referring to a time in Lyndria's history called "The Great Defiance". "Why aren't you able to go into town?"

Walking down the road Lonesome felt the cool breeze across his face and was glad to allow his hood down and hum a tune. Resting his hand on the pommel of his sword reassuringly and smiled. Looking farther down the path he notices the sign-post that states the next village is just beyond the next bend.

"Halt! Speak your name and intentions." a burly member of the guard said in a voice that sounded way to high for the likes of him. "My name is Lonesome, I intend to rest and continue on my way in the morning good sir." he replied as he waited to be allowed access. "Very well then, but make sure you don't cause any trouble." the guard said as he stepped out of the way. Lonesome wondered why the guard would think that he would cause any troube when he felt another breeze go across his face and horns. Cursing he lifted his hood covering his horns from view. "At least he tolerated my presence." Lonesome thought as he walked down the cobbled street.

"Well, even you won't have trouble. Krious has taught all of his Hellspawn Officers to block mental attacks, but it had the slight side effect of being unable to track those same mental attacks. We'll be fine." Erik was concerned mostly with making it to the city before sunrise.

((I am sorry for not being on the last 3 days... We went to state for acting with our group musical and the hotel we were at charged 9.95 to have internet for 24 hours... lame!))

"That is because Opalesant is my home town.. and as I am sure you know girls my age don't normally live on there own and my family will make me stay there if I am caught."
