Annexus instead of backing off, flipped the blade to its flat edge, trying to finish through with his attack before the roaring at his back reached is position. He felt the dart stick into his back, but ignored it, all his concentration on living up to his promise to Wade, the capture of his sister.

"You shall not take Felicity! Surrender now or my lion will kill you!" Mina yelled.
Hiro ran up. "Surrender, Annexus! You were a fool if you thought that I would join you're army. My place is on the opposite side of the battlefield. I shall never betray my fellow Eternal Eyes!"
Upon hearing that, Mina thought, Eternal Eyes? Then she glanced at the boy from the corner of her eye. He did, indeed, have red eyes.

Felicity smiled and slipped under his sword with quick speed. He was now in her control. "Come and get me." She taunted him. 'Strike him while he is chasing me. Tell the others this as well.' She thought to Mimi. While toying with Annexus.

Annexus knew the rouse, and stopped. He knew there was only one way to take them. He took the flat of his sword to knock the lion aside, and rushed at Hiro, leveling the sword in like a lance, aim so that he could simply disable him by slashing his side, instead of skewering.

Felicity saw what was going to happen and she immediatly jumped infront of him. "Now, now, That just wont do." She said in a stern voice as Annexus's sword stopped short. "You see i know you cant kill me. Actually i know you wont kill me." She said while tapping her head.

Annexus dropped the tip of his sword, but kept rushing forward. "Careful about that, I'm liable to change my mind," he said, reaching out as if to clothes line her. Bringing up the sword again around her side, expecting her to move out of the way, giving him a clear path again at Hiro.

Hiro saw Annexus run towards him, his sword pointing right at him. Then one of the girls jumped in front of him.
Mina winced as Annexus knocked the lion aside. It felt as if he had knocked her aside instead of the lion. She started to feel as if she was going to faint and she knew the the lion had been out for too long. She sent the lion back to the world it had come from. Mina swayed and had to lean against a building for support.

Felicity clicked her tounge. "I can also tell that you just lied. You know you wont change your mind, because you fear my brother." She said not moving from her spot. "Dont move." She whispered to him.

Annexus laughed, colliding with her and wrapping his arm around hers. "You have me mistaken, mind reader. I don't fear your brother. I praise your brother. I'm not an Eternal Eyes, and he doesn't possess the means to kill me. Your brother is more my brother than her ever was yours. And that hurts you, very much, doesn't it?"

"O-Okay?" Hiro whispered back. He didn't understand what the girl and Annexus were talking about. Then Annexus grabbed the girl's arm. Raising his crossbow over her shoulder so that it was aimed at Annexus, he said, "Surrender now and I won't kill you."
Mina sank to her knees, still leaning against the wall, struggling to remain conscious. I-I cannot faint. I must help Felicity. But my body won't move.

Felicity snorted. "Mind reader, you think i am the one that reads minds. That is classic, automatically assume that i can read minds by knowing what you are going to do." She said while kicking him in his gut and pushing him off of her. "And i could also care less what my brother thinks or who he is with. He is the one that killed our parents. He deserves a scumbag like you." She said while shaking her head.

Annexus backed off, and then Laughed at Hiro, "Shoot me boy! It won't work!"
He then feinted at Hiro, changing direction midway to run back from both Felicity and Hiro to Mina. He now knew what to do . . . his real target was weak, and defenseless now, away from her guardian.

Korsu noticed one of the girls was on her knee's, seemingly in pain. He made sure his sunglasses were in place before he ran over to her, not using his speed so he wouldn't be found out, and crouched next to her. "Ma'am, are you alright?" he asked, his arms held out to help her but not quite touching her.

Annexus Roared as this new foe was in front of him. "Out of the way!"
He drew his sword, and as he reached Mina drew it down into the ground between her and Korsu.

Felicity dropped to her knees. "NO!" She yelled as her vision came to her. The guy behind her jumped at her outburst. She charged Annexus. She jumped into the air and landed ontop of him making his chest ram into the hilt of his sword.
