A bit startled at the sound of a mans voice, Elena looks up. Taking a step towards him, she replies "Sadly I am not." She smiles revealing a sharp set of fangs. "Why do you ask?"

Her eyes go wide at the mans sudden outburst, and then focus on his long canines. She catches herself and meeting his eyes, she says "Sounds wonderful." Elena takes another, rather uncertain step towards the man. "It's been a while since i've had a nice cup of tea."

She stumbles after the man, the aroma of hot tea overwhelming her senses. "Oh, I don't believe I've introduced myself, I'm Elena." She said with a smile. "And you are?"

"Xera, now can you tell me why there are so many other vampires around this town?" He said confused at why he had just saw two vampires in less than five minutes.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, sir." After a short pause she murmured, "Your guess is as good as mine, I suppose."

"There's alot of human's here? Hey that's why I came, now I'm thinking that's NOT the right reason since none of em will let me take any blood... Why would they NOT want to be vampire, it's alot better than being a mortal..." He said sitting down to wait for the tea.

"I suppose that's one possible answer." She meets Xera's eyes for a moment before taking a seat. "Sometimes it just takes a little... persuading before they come to their senses." A smile slowly formed on her lips. "I've never had much of a problem quenching my thirst."

"Well hey, you take it forcibly. I get criticized by other vampires when I did that... I still do sometimes..." He said getting up. "Tea ready?..."

"Well you'll get none of that from me," She said. After a short silence she clapped her hands together and chirped. "Oh I do hope it's done! The aroma is certainly delightful."

"Yah ,but since you don't care I'm gonna go get a snack..." He said rubbing his fang's with his tongue walking outside and seeing someone he tap's there shoulder they turn around and he bites his neck. "Sorry I like to kill someone only if they're looking at me." He said draining the person's blood dry and letting go, licking the blood from his lip's. It was a girl, about his age maybe younger, but he wouldn't know. "Sorry, it's life." He said walking back to the house as the body fell lifelessly over.

The scent of fresh blood filled her nose. She chuckled humorlessly as the body fell to the ground. As he reentered the house she murmured, "That was certainly quick." After a pause she said, "A snack does sound delicious, but I ate before I came."

Shadow opened her bedroom window and peered out at the night sky. Dark clouds had been forming when she woke up an hour ago; now, the sky was heavy with expected rain. Hopefully it will hold off a bit; she was still hungry, and hated to chase her meal through puddles. The streets below were somewhat quiet, probably in anticipation for the coming storm. She should probably get a move on; the aching pull in her veins reminded her about the lost meal last night, and if she didn't get something in her soon, she'd be right cranky. And probably less cautious about her situation. And much more desperate. That solved it then. She slung her long legs out the window and stood on the small overhang. Breathing an unneeded breath, more out of long-forgotten habit than anything else, she launched herself into the night toward the streets below.
