"Alice, what's going on?"Jasper asked, looking at her concernedly.
Nicholai sat up clutching his chest. "C-can't breathe,"he wheezed out while trying to calm down.

"No!" Alice growled harshly at Jane "You don't even know where he's staying so don't even try it!" Alice growled
Esme ran in the room "Shhhh Nicholai it's ok i'm here shhhh"she mothered and soothed Nicholai soflty

Renesmee sighed and slid under the blankets, slowly fading to sleep. She had a nightmere that Jane killed both her parents. Then she flew to Isle Esme and tortured her. Then, when she finally put Renesmee out of her misory, She couldn't find her parents. She woke up sweating. She walked to the bathroom, filling a cup with water, and guping it down. Then, when she was calmed down enough, she walked back to bed and fell asleep.the vampire with a beating heart

Carlisle gave Nicholai another dose which helped him breathe. He sat him up then and said "Watch my finger" checked his eyes and ears then laid him back down. "You have a major case of asthma, and if not treated correctly could lead to something much more serious."

Edward sat on the shoreline all night long deep in thought with his eyes closed. It still bugged him that Renesmee was acting this way. He'd have to talk to Bella about that. He heard her get up in the middle of the night but didn't move from where he was sitting. If she didn't want anything to do with him then he wouldn't bug her. If that was what she wanted. He wished Bella was with him. He really missed her and he felt lonely.

Esme looked at Carlisle with worry in her eyes "What about what Alice said?' she reminded Carlisle of Alices prediction

Nicholai nodded weakly to Carlisle. "How will you treat it?"he asked wheezily as he struggled to draw breath. He was still gasping, but now it was only every couple of breaths instead of every one of them.

Renesmee woke up, feeling refreshed. She stretched out her arms and then hugged her knees. She closed her eyes, concentrating on the unending blackness. Then opened her eyes again. She looked at the carpet, even after all this time, it still looked new. Everything in the room looked new and expensive. She stood up and walked to the kitchen. The supplies were running low, as she had hear her mother had eaten almost everything when they went on their honey moon. She pulled out some noodles and made chicken and noodles. Then sat down to eat it. She started eating, feeling dissgusted with every bite, but she felt to lazy to go hunting.the vampire with a beating heart

Carlisle handed Nicholai another inhaler. It was bigger then the one he had been using before. "Inhale with this three times a day. Once when you wake up, once after lunch, and once right before you go to bed. You need to check in with me every two weeks so I can see your progress. If need be, I'll move you up to a stronger prescription, but hopefully that won't be the case. If you follow the schedule I've given you, in time, the asthma will get better and you won't have attacks as often." He checked Nicholai's pulse. "You're pulse is a little high right now, but with some rest, it'll calm."
Edward opened his eyes several long hours later and pulled out his cell phone. How long would it be before he heard from someone. He was getting impatient. He walked into the house. He could hear Nessie in the kitchen, and he walked right past it. He went into the second bedroom. The one he and Bella had to use after destroying the first. He sat on the bed and looked outside the window, every now and then glancing at his phone hoping for a call.

Carlisle whispered to Esme. "I'm gonna try and see how long we can push that off. I don't want to resort to that unless absolutely necessary."

Renesmee finally got sick of eating the discusting food in front of her and jogged out of the house. She stopped, trying to decide the best place to hunt. The layout of the island was confusing. Oh well, she thought to herself, I guess I'm seventeen now. I'm guessing I can take care of myself. That prabably means I'll have to find the spot to hunt. Then she started walking around the edge of the island, pushing the alone thoughts out of her head. Finally, she inhaled a scent, and walked up a steep hill, that eventually got steep enough to be more like a mountain than a hill. The scent ended up being moose, so she took down a medium sized buck. She guessed it was big enough to quench her thirst. The thick liquid spilled into her mouth, and she swallowed, then quickly qulped the rest down. She was right, she wasn't thirsty anymore. If only it was as easy to tell if she thirsty as it was with the rest of her family. Eyes that showed your thirst sounded like a dream, but she was quite comfortable with her chocolate eyes.the vampire with a beating heart

Edward sighed "How's Bella doing? I feel so lost without her, and Renesmee may as well just wish I wasn't ever around. I'm trying to take care of her, and I wish she'd show me a bit more gratitude then she is...I'm at a total loss for what to do..."
