((Because my last post was pure OOC.))
Rene's katar (a sword?) was crossed against Raster's bat. He gripped the sword with an armored hand of unmatched strength, stepped forward to throw a punch with the other fist. Raster could not listen to reason or be threatened off. He was corrupted.
Cyrus had his crossbow trained on Raster, but Rene was in the way. He was a decent shot, but didn't feel that Rene or he himself could trust that in his first combat situation in three years.

Unfortunately for Zain, someone had modified Kuromi. The blast knocked her back a bit, but it did not fry her system. She aimed her rocket launcher at Zain, but didn't shoot yet. It changed form, and was now a laser canon. She charged up for a moment then shot a laser blast at Zain.

Zain dove to the side and cursed, his gauntlet was out of energy, so instead he flicked on the energy blade for his wrist blade and kicked on his rocket boots, flying at Kuromi and slashing at her with an energy plasma blade that could slice through anything.
Rene stuck her M16 in Raster's mouth and fired point-blank

As Rene suffered her skull being cracked by a mammoth punch, simultaneously. Raster, as Rene no doubt would, trophyfied, but he would still be corrupted (I think). No harm, no foul. Rene, on the other hand, would now be corrupted as a result of what should be trophyfication.

A merc walked up and revived Rene calmly, then the merc grabbed Raster's trophy and went to put it with the other mercs.
Rene grinned, dusted herself off then looked up to watch Kuromi and Zain fight.

Kuromi quickly moved out of the way, moving faster than before. Then she spun around and slashed at Zain's back with her katana.
(( But wouldn't Rene be corrupted? [Since Raster corrupts others by knocking them out.] ))

((Yes, so Rene revived would whip around and fire at the other mercenary (of which, only Rene, Zain, and Cyrus are supposed to be in this particular part of the battlefield at the moment, fighting Kumori and Raster) and then revive Raster.
Raster and Kumori are allies, as is now Rene. xP ))

((Hmmmm....true, since I can't make Rene immune to the corruption (since it isn't technically a physical virus is it?) but I'd suppose that she would be a bit more resistant to it since 1. She's a fallen angel (therefore both dead and holy) and 2. She's able to bear power from Chaos, but that means it wont last long))
Rene's eye twitched and her gun arm moved to aim up at Zain but she held back, wondering what was happening.
Zain spun easily, his blade in place to block the attack, unless the attack was used with an energy base would be sliced into bits by the plasma blade.

(( Yeah, it isn't a physical virus. The corruption acts like a 'virus' since people who are corrupted can corrupt others.
And alright. That makes sense. 3nodding ))
Kumori's katana was sliced in half by the plasma blade. She dropped the piece she held and jumped off the building, onto another. She had to keep her distance from this guy. She quickly shot another laser blast at him.

Zain zigzagged through the air after Kuromi, if she had started this she could end this....so she thought. "Get back here so I can whip you!" He yelled as he began to catch up to her, dodging the lazer blast she shot at him easily.

Kumori jumped over to another building as her laser canon changed back to a rocket launcher. She shot another rocket at him, as she looked around for Raster.

((Exactly! lolz. You think the mercs are gunna let someone that dangerous stay in an open area?))
The mercenaries that hadn't been with Rene and Zain stood guard around Raster's trophy, hidden inside one of the few bunkers that had been built by the mercs after the second brawl. there was only one entrance and it was almost unbreakable, but not totally, of course there was always the problem of the three or so dozen mercs behind the door, and the fact the bunker was underground, hard to find.
Zain spun out of the way of the rocket, he was getting closer, he flicked his wrist, changing his blade's energy formation. He slashed his blade, sending a crescent of plasma energy slicing at Kumori.
Rene strod away from the trophyified remains of the mercs that had been with her, her eyes glowed black as her lipstick faded to black as well. She began to walk calmly, knowing where Raster would be.
((Rene corrupts people by kissing them LOL!))

Fatal reappeared in a fog of dark smoke atop a nearby building, just watching. He had just gained three new Assist Trophies, and that would explain his sudden bout of ominous darkness and newfound power. The Fatal that existed now was some six times as powerful as the previous one fought by most of the inhabitants of Arelia.
Fatal was now capable of a great deal more of adversaries at once. His power was so great... that the Dark Dragon was even available to him. Such a summons was too mighty even for his legendary knowledge, if not such magical prowess. But now it was not.
Fatal was surging with power. Such a force would be recognized alarmingly by every computerized threat-analysis system in the area, including the android's.

Cyrus had seen what Rene had done. He knew he stood no prayer of stopping her by himself, so he ran to Zain's location instead.
"Zain," he called, "Rene has been corrupted! She's unstoppable!"

Zain cursed, "What? What the hell does that mean?!" He yelled into his radio.
Rene stopped and turned back, facing Cyrus, she ran forward to him, reaching up, and kissing him lightly on the lips, darkness flowed from her lips and into Cyrus' body.
