Gabi giggled, "Then it was an accident." She gave his hand a little squeeze and made them keep walking to the Hufflepuff dorms. "Maybe it was good for you two? I mean you two have been close for so long something like that was bound to happen sooner or latter right?"

"Well- I did want to do it-" then he processed 'It was bound to happen'. "What?" he blinked. "You mean- people have been expecting this?"

Gabi shook her head. "No, not really," she gave his arm a squeeze. "People think girls and guys can't be friends with out romance getting involved." She shrugged and let go of his hand.

The motherly side of Gabi was taking of any other feelings of sadness or jealousy she had as she continued, "Now the question that remains is that are you two going to be friends, lovers, or not talk to each other again?" She nodded as they reached the Hufflepuff door.

Once Tom had, had a sweet treat she was feeling a little better, her hair color brightened to a dark purple and she walked down the staircase to the common room, to sit in front of the fire. She sat cross-legged not two feet from the flames and watched them dance with sleepy eyes. They were so pretty and bright she smiled the warmth running though her. in only a minute she had laid down, and fell asleep. She must have been very tired.

Throwing her arms around James, Gabi gave him a huge hug and whispered in his ear, "I am so glad to hear that!" Then kissing his ear, she turned around and headed into the Hufflepuff main room. It was quieted and when she reached her room one of the girls already set up everything for her. Smiling over the group of huffle girls, She went in to her bed and wrote on a piece of paper

Hey sweetie, you okay? If you need me I'm here for you love!

Then with a stratified grin she sent it off so it looked like a bird.

As James arrived in the common room, he found Tom on the floor. He smiled softly, picking her up and beginning to walk up to the girl's dorms. Of course he forgot that the stairs fell out from under him and became a slide. He fell down, Tom falling on top of him in a compromising position.

Tom yelped when she felt herself falling. She grabbed on to what ever she could, which just so happened to be James, What was he doing? Why had he disturbed her?" She opened one eye to find that he was lying on top of him at the bottom of the girl's staircase. "I love our mental capacity to think ahead and make decisions based on prior knowledge." she said just louder than a whisper. Very slowly she sat up, still straddling his waist, and looked around; everybody was probably asleep so no one had seen their mistake.

James blushed a bit, "It is amazing isn't it?" he replied, sitting up a bit. He looked at her, but he gaze kept heading downwards to her lips. "S-so, why are you sleeping in the common room?"

Tom shrugged, "I wanted to sit by the fire, and I was really tired, so I guess I just kind of fell asleep." She laughed. "Why did you try and carry me up to the girl's dorms?" She countered and tilted her head slightly, her hair was dry by now and it moved as she did. The color was a light purple, but nothing out of the ordinary for her common rage of shades.

"Depends who you ask, but I can see your point." she smiled and leaned forward towards him a little more. "And the way I look at it speeding on the floor is perfectly reasonable. People do it all the time." She grinned and stretched her arms over her head loosening, she was a little stiff.
