Hikaru waltzed through the oasis once again. looking around at all the trees and rocks, and even the small body of water. Hikaru then looked closer at all of the scars of the battle grounds. he saw the katana slashes in the rocks from when Lokail said he couldn't cut a boulder in half. he then looked over and saw a bunch of little pieces of rock from when Lokail almost crushed him. Hikaru looked at his leg and could still feel the bruise from when he kicked the boulder and smashed it it too a bunch of tiny pieces. Hikaru's eyes continued to wander as he saw the trees cut down from his wind jutsu training that he had yet to finish, and finally his eyes landed on the small pool of water. the images flooded back to him as he recounted the events that he could remember. that was where he developed his split personality. "Well I guess it's time to get started." Hikaru said as he gave the oasis one more look over.

Hikaru absorbed everything from the clones he sent out. Hmm Maybe that Tekkenseisai can train me. Hikaru thought as he packed up his stuff. "I guess this training will have to wait. I have some taijutsu training to do." Hikaru said as he looked around the oasis before picking up his scroll an then heading off towards the village.

Scorching sun rays and the gentle sounds of woke Mika from her deep sleep. She slowly opened her eyes to stare right into the sun. 'Just my luck..' She slowly lifted her hand from beside her to block the suns borage of blinding rays. As her hand touched her forehead Mika winced. 'Owww..' Slowly Mika sat up, she now was sunburnt.. She had no idea how long she had been laying unconscious under the baking sun. The girl tried to think back, but it was vague. Looking around her, she was aware of where she was, but not of why she was asleep next to the pool of water. Mika let out a groan, she did not enjoy being confused. Mika stood from the sand, her clothes covered in sand. After brushing herself off, the girl started walking. She was on her way back home.

Hikaru arrived at his destination. his eyes flickered in excitement as the fond training memories began to flood his mind. it was a short time ago but it feels like years Hikaru thought to himself as he looked around the oasis. "OK class we have arrived. this is where I was trained, and it is where I shall train all of you. now you are probably wondering what you are doing in the middle of the desert instead of in the nice, comfy walls of the academy. well being a ninja is about feeling, and understanding your surroundings. so if you spend your time inside an academy then that can never happen. this isn't a school and I am not your "Ninja" teacher. I suggest you be prepared for the harshest experience of your lives because if you are not ready these sands will chew you up and spit you out. now everyone that isnt ready leave now. everybody else. LINE UP!" Hikaru ordered.

Shizuku lined up with the group of student. This oasis was different than what we was used to, but like Hikaru said: Being a ninja is about feeling, and understanding your surroundings. Deciding to be observant, Shizuku observed the surrounding area, and to be honest, it gave a pleasent and peaceful feeling to him, and possibly the other students. Sure he was still new to this kind of thing, but at this point, he was willing to do whatever it took to be a ninja, even survive Hikaru's "harsh" training. "Kazekage-sama, what kind of training will we have to endure?" He didn't mind asking this, since he was used to doing difficult tasks, esspecially at one.

Saeten rather hastily snapped to attention, ignoring her human curiosity to examine these odd and out-of-place surroundings. Her first reactions when she first touched foot to this place was to throw off her sandles and toss her cloak away for the time, but, alas, the Kazekage had not given her enough time to struggle either off. Rather awkwardly, she stood with her arms limp at her sides, desperately trying to keep her focus keen on the Kazekage. Harsh was harsh, so she would have to be just as accepting of the punishments therein. Enduring was the key.

Hikaru looked at Shizuku and saw a bit of confusion in his eyes as well as the eyes of the rest of the class. "I will say this once and only once. I will not tell you what kind of training you will be going through but know this, Being a ninja is about being prepared without being prepared. meaning you have to act on instinct. My methods may seem harsh but if you go on a mission unprepared it will be far worse." Hikaru said as he looked at the class lined up. "Now how many of you know your basic hand seals." Hikaru asked as he waited to see if he could start or not.

Cyrus walked in and lined up with the class at the oasis. Cyrus didn't know any hand symbols. He saw ninja around the village use it sometimes, but not often enough to memerize it. Besides he if already knew the hand signs he doubted he would be attending school. He probably would have went rogue a while ago. Cyrus antcipated the learning of hand signs in this lesson. The oasis was so beatiful. The only place he saw that water actually was natural coming out of the ground. Since the village is a desert itself its not surprising they would make it near this place. He wanted to go and touch the water, but disipline would take action if he did. Instead he just stood up straight looking at sensei.

Toshiko stepped quietly into line and paid close attention to the Kazekage's words. He asked if anybody knew any of the basic hand seals. Oh, grandpa taught those to me, didn't he? Let's see, what were they again...? She quickly ran through a mental list of the hand seals before raising her arm, almost sheepishly. Is he going to quiz us on this? Oh, gosh. What kind of training is he planning to put us through? We're merely fledglings! She kept her focus on the Kazekage as she thought, not wanting to cast any more doubt upon her abilities. She quickly thought to straighten her posture, then pointed her chin slightly while looking the Kazekage in the eye.

The hand seals and signs, she knew them quite well. At least once a week she noticed her parents use some combination of them for uses at work, though with a speed to fast to analyze and memorize. In that case, she knew of them, but not enough to perform them for anyone. Balancing the weights of lying and revealing the truth in her head, she fiddled with a wrinkle in her cloak, running through the consequences of either action. Too late to prevent herself, she nodded to the Kazekage's question. Of course she knew the hand signs already. Why wouldn't she? And then her mistake came clear to her, but too late to take it back. She knew the hand signs, then, whether she actually did or not.

Handsigns? They were pretty easy to understand, and easy to pull off. During the time Shizuku had a break from taking care of the house and his mother, he practiced the handsigns carefully. Figuring the Kazekage wanted an answer, Shizuku nodded, standing his ground and taking a mental note of each handsign. Feeling a slight irritation on his ankle, he tried to ignore the irritation while remaining focused.

Lana rushed in after the others and saw everyone else in lines. Shequickly snapped to attention and ran to a spot in the back of the line. She knew she was late, and felt ashamed. Then she suddenly noticed the other students raising their hands and the Kazakage seeming like he just asked a question. She politely said, "Um, excuse me Kazekage-sama, but I just got here... What just happened?"

Donki had fallen into line with the rest of the group fairly easy. He was at attention but relaxed in appearance compared to a few of the students, but then a few hours ago, he had be prepared to die. The Kazekage planned on using this place to build up being able to read their instincts and gut feelings as they learned. Easy way to kill two birds with one stone. At being asked about hand-signs he sighed and and shook his head. He knew a few but nothing fully committed to memory or that he could bring up instantly with perfect recall. He figured this was what the kazekage figured and he was going to find a way to burn all of them into reflex actions they wouldn't have to even think about using.

Cyrus was waiting for someonw ti give a response, but no one seemed to answer. Maybe everyone was thinking like he was. He was very curious to see what they would do. He wanted to learn some jutsu and eventually make his own so people could marvel at his skill. Patience was the first step of getting what he wanted. It would be cool to become kazekage. Then out of nowhere, he said " I don't know any hand signs. Will you be teaching us some today?"
