They were like lightning on the ground. Zipping in and out of random spots on the ground, unseen from below. One skidded to stop suddenly and raised a flatten hand at the green dragon in the sky. "May you know your own treachery beast, may your own kind teach you that. Arise and cast your judgement!" The hand began to glow brightly enough to be seen from below but the person casting the spell could not be seen. Only three larger ghost-like dragons could be seen racing towards a much smaller green one with teeth baring and talons reaching, all ready to devour.

The caster soon caught up with her other comrades as they pointed their arrows at second dragon in the sky. One shot off, the arrow just passing by Kat's cheek by mere inches. The caster stared at the boy, eye to eye, as she spoke, " Land, or be forced too!" The others aimed their bows at his dragon and began to chant, giving their arrows a slight glow to them.

*Inside base --Brom--*

Brom continue to block Rouchlos blow, though on occasion he would get nail with some of the boy's hand to hand combat. It kept reminding him that the boy was no novice, but he still had a very large hatred for him. Brom couldn't place why though to save his life.

"Tell me something...why do you follow him? You do not seem like someone who would do so just for fun." Again, he blocked Rouchlos, his blade sliding off Broms as he jumped back. "I only ask because you are not the normal player that the King uses. You act very much like Selene and Durza of the old times, that didn't turn out so well for them. They too seems to follow him as you do"

"Oh and how would that be? Like a lamb to the sloughter?" Rouchlos comments as he takes a few steps back himself taking a few deep breaths to calm his mind as he was starting to get a little to far ahead of the fight right in front of him. "Heh, what difference does it make old man." HE continues rising his blade as he readdied his body for a nother bout. "As of this moment I am your enemy, and you ar mine... Nothing else matters, not the men you fell before, not the one's that are running off, no one... nothing..." Lowiering his head for a few moments rouchlos slowly looked back at the man that had turned him into this eyes back to him. "Rase your blade like you did on that day Brom. Fight for this world once again and kill every thing in your path that presents a threat." with out a nohter mometns notice Rouchlos charged forwards hurling his sword like it was a throwing knifebefore jumping into a dead sprint as his hands slid to his back gripping onto a pair of knifes.

Rochlos blade jerk to stop in mid air and fell to the ground in a lifeless clattered. Brom lowered his hand to his side and sighed greatly. "Raise my blade like before, to kill everything that is threatening. ...that my dear boy, explains everything." Brom was a flash that could not be seen as he took one step that closed the distance betweeen the two before Rouchlos could react. With a fistful of Rouchlos shirt in one hand and his blade resting gentle between Rouchlos eyes, Brom lifted the boy into the air so he could be level with his face.

"If, for one second, you thought that we, the resistance, simply fought to extinguish a threat,...then you are so wrong boy. The Varden was no such thing. We did not fight to kill or have pleasure." Brom threw Rouchlos to the ground, his body leaving a imprint in the ground, as he walked away towards the newly created hole in the wall. "You should learn that everything matters, not nothing. None of us fought to destroy a threat, that was your King agenda, not ours. We fought for the complete opposite reasons." Brom extended a hand to help him up the rubble remains of the wall and into the hole. "Everyone chooses their destiny, for better or for worst, but perhaps you should learn your opponents before judging them or making false impressions."

"....and that of your kings."

((Sorry about not posting in forever. Life got hectic for me.))

Gwen stared at Relena wide-eyed when she told her to run. She had been about to ask about her, but decided better of it and took off holding Alice close to her. Gwendolen wound her way through the tunnels, trying to remember the way she had been brought in. Keeping count of her steps, Gwen had to double-back a few times, but eventually she made it out. She heard the sound of swords clashing and tried to steer clear of that area and made it outside.

Gwendolen saw a lot of people about and tried her best to stay hidden. With any luck, Kaida was still in Yazuac so that's where she was headed with the infant. Gwen had thought about jumping into the river and swimming there, but that wouldn't be possible without leaving Alice behind and she wasn't about to do that. She had and idea about a spell that she had found during the independent study that Relena had made her do. The spell was an advanced one and had a high energy toll, but if it got Alice and her to Kaida, she was willing to risk it. "Clax ve ekess sia darastrix," she muttered and was gone it a flash of white light.

"Not much human, this little one is more trouble then I think she'd worth sometimes." the dragon replied, growling through Mearo's vocal cords. Her reptilian, opalecent eyes looked so alien on the girls soft feminine face.
Eleniel wasn't sure how long they could keep this up, or how long she could keep control of Mearo's body before her persistant partner recovered from the shift. She could taste the betrayl like it was on her tounge. Maero felt betrayed; how could Eleniel do this?! Rouchlos was their friend! Wasn't he?
Eleniel wasn't concerned, what mattered was her vessel's suvival. And there was not way she trusted Rouchlos's employer.

Maero wasn't safe with him. He doesn't care what happens to her, not where his King is concerned.

As the chase commences, two dragons, one with 2 mounts against the poisonious one in persute, Eleniel moved Maero's body, and gripped her hands into Tenchi's scales. Adjusted her footing, she looked back and watched as Kat used his wind sorcery to try and shake their hunter.
Sadly it wasn't as effective as it may have looked. Wind beasts apparently were defended against wind magic, makes sense in theory.

As Sulfur began to close in Eleniel began to try and look around for plan B. A junction of free magic. If worse came to worse, she would have to force Maero to summon her. But if only-

!!?

Something flew up passed them. Birds? No- Arrows!
Eleniel looked down and zoomed her vision in to see the caster and her archers aiming at them.
"....impossible. Why? Since when?"

Could it be true? ...why would they turn against the dragonkind?

The possessed rider looked worried and consulted her kin. " Sister? what do we do? I do not wish to see you harmed. You or you're partner."

((Well.... this is some confusing stuff lol))

"Don't feed me that Bull s**t!!" Rouchlos call out with a aggravated voice. "you and I now that that battle was not a fight of protection, nor was there any honor in that blood shed." Rouchlos deeply spits out as he forces himself to his feet and quickly shoved the short knife that his hand had managed to keep a hold of into a random place against Brom's unguarded torso. "MY king was attacking your band of brothers to concur what he could of the known world, and hold on to that bit of life with a iron fist where no one would challenge his power." Rouchlos darkly hisses into he old mans ear as he rips the blade back and shoves it into his body again. "While you Varden were fighting for survival, and freedom from the tyranny of the king. and with your pitiful band of dragon riders you some how managed to bring about your survival through that grate battle... But that was five hundred years ago my friend and when a man comes back from the grave of magics womb Dont think that the next war that he wages will be the same. ... And your ace in the hole is no longer under your control Brom." Rouchlos finishes off as he shoves the mans body away from his and into the hole that he himself created. Taking a quick look over the areas that his dagger pierced he knew that the old man, even at his age, would survive. "Now get out of my Castle Intruder." Rouchlos curses with venom in his voice as his hand were balled into fists once again. But the loud and thunderous roar of his Sulfur ripped his head up towards the sky and his feet took off into a dead sprint before anything else could be said.

***

"I'm a little busy here!" Sulfur roars out within an instant of Eleniel's question as she truly was busy, one more dragon no problem two and she'd have her work cut out for her but three? of this size and aggression she was clearly out matched and out powered. but she knew he target, and she knew her masters wishes. And come death, or hell She as going to do everything within her power to make that wish come true. turning sharply into one of her banks her teeth came bearing sharp and hard down onto one of the summoned dragons necks. She was not sure how successful this might be but she was not holding back. the scales all over her body were raised and opening her skin to the cool air as a thick flood of her poison was flowing constantly into he air. within the confines of her mouth her teeth had a grip on something as the dragon she had latched onto was doing its best to kick her off from its body. her front talons reached out and pierced tightly against eh armored scales as she gripped tightly to he massive beast and let her poison spill from the glands in her jaw's like a kimono dragon. she whipped her head back and forth tearing at the flesh and letting her contaminated spit seep int the opened wounds as her rear talons were clawing viciously at the vulnerable under belly of the grate beast as she hoped all of this brawling would get her some head way, if not scare them off for a little while.

"Ace in the hole?" Brom did not understand what he meant by that, though he did know one thing. Never underestimate that damn youth again. The wounds were far from mortal but that didn't mean that they did hurt like hell.

"My dear boy, we did fought for those very things. Honor and protection. It was the only thing we had left after what your king had done to us, so we fought to hold on to that small portion of ourselves and because of it, we nearly lost the war. Your king knew that all to well. Only two understood that needed of survival and it was them that won the war, not us, but sadly, they lost a piece of themselves in the process." Brom knew not if the words reach Rouchlos or not, he no longer cared as he attempted to stand up. The action was slow and quite agnozing but successful. Why had the boy not finished the attack and kill him? He had the opportunity. It did not matter though, Brom mind was confused as to what he meant by the "ace" and he own pasted of failures.

It had been Relena and Sang that fought that battle all out, without mercy. Even with his age, full of wisdom and strenght, he was still man that could not kill without reason or disregard justice in committed such an act. Though, they, knew when to throw that away. Both had to take innocent lives without regret for the action itself in the fight against the king to protect that was dear to people heart and only stronghold against the tryant. The cost was high. Sang seemed to keep it hidden well but Relena was not so adapted to hiddening her emotions. Brom had stayed in contact for a while after the war with Relena and watched her, become closed off, cold and harsh, and alone because of those very actions. She did not have the love that Sang had from Mixy and his children or the comfort of warm home full of life that helped him move on and give some peace in his needed actions. She pulled away from the world. She did her duties through out time but only her promises bound her. She understood that the acts she committed would give her no future or one in the afterlife. Perhaps that was why he had thought that she had died so long ago, though before all of this happened again, he had felt her. She was shell and fraction of her former self but still around. Brom did not understand why, he had seen people that had done lesser things than her and not survive this long before judgement and death came upon them. Brom had taken life without honor and just reason but it had been quick and faster than he could calculate, but then the deed would be done and he could not fix it. Where Relena and Sang felt no remorse in the action he did. They felt the pain of taking a life like any normal person but the needed too do so no longer pained them. They had become similiar to the King but fought for the people, perhaps that was why he feared as much as he did.

Flashes of young riders the king had forced to fight by his side in the final battle came to him. They were innocent but determine to survive. Many of the innocent on the king's side could not be saved no matter how much people tried, but unliked Relena and Sang, sadness was felt by the others. Pity and remorse. They did so because they had no choice and understood the need for necessary. Everyone else, including him, shun away from it mostly but if needed refused to see the right in the action, the need for it. Many had fallen at his blade, far to many. Many he had let go despite the problems that could have arise. Still he remembered her face that day. The war was won, but Relena looked off in the distant, her back turned to the world. Sang stood by her, but he was facing the cheering voices. Both though seemed to look as if they had lost the good, the innocences, and the life in them. They looked soulless then. Judgement had come then and their and they knew it. A war won indeed but they had lost their souls to insure the other kept their so they could move on and survive.

Could God look at them and understand or would he turn away and strike them down? Brom believed it was that reasoning that kept people from turning into what Sang was becoming and Relena had become. Even if you died, your still had the afterlife that people would do anything to insure they went up than down.

"I wish I have never push you out of the Spire's protection and into that war. A truely kind and loving woman you were Relena. Someone incapable of killing then, but now you are capable of slaghtering to keep peace and the sanity of those around you and Sang is becoming that way as well if he still around. You two carry all of the problems, pains, fallings so we do not have too and it is destroying you both."

*Outside*

The dragon in Sulfur jaws ignored her attacks at it as it wrapped what ever it could around her. It had literally become dead wieght she could not remove as the other two dragons charged her.

Another arrow passed by the two riders, this one bouncing off Tenchi's shoulder making flinch in the air at the impact. The female elf castor below never took her eyes of them, "Last warning children. LAND!"

Kat's orbs quickly regengerated around him and move to delfect the arrows shot at him and his mount, resting his hammer on his shoulder, closing his eyes and letting out a low sigh.
"If it's not one thing, it's another...this is starting to get on my nerves." Kat growled out, popping his neck and tilting his head to the side. "Well...nothing for it, Tenchi, take us down"

'I'm positive I didn't hear that right' Tenchi spoke to his rider, shaking his dragon head from side to side 'land? are you serious?'

"Either that or get shot down, your choice" Kat said, sighing once more, the massive dragon started to lower to the ground, as soon as they were close enough, Tenchi lowered his massive legs and came to a halt on the ground, Kat removed his robe and drapped it over Maero, not to keep her warm, but it was some-what armored and would provide some protection for her, clasping his hammer in his hand, he raised the weapon over his head in a ready to strike position, looking around for any threat towards him, Tenchi, or Maero

"Alright, That's the way you want it?" Sulfur thinks to herself with a small evil glint in her eye as her wings suddenly stop beating and she lift the up into the sky taking away all manner of wind resistance that they could possibly offer. In the recesses of her mind she as praying that this dragon would have some sort of resistance to the ground or this was going to be one hell of a hard landing. Lifting her long neck her eyes caught sight of the two other dragons that were hot on her tail.
"Three against one cant hardly be fair is it?" she thinks to her self with the kind of tone that was a mix between sultry, tantalizing and hateful. though the two dragons mass continued to plummet for the ground with out hesitation.

The female elf was the first to approach the three. She eyed Kat carefully as she did, "Dismount your dragon! Same for the female."

The archers that accompanied her formed a semi-circle around the dragon, arrows at the ready. "They are order to attack without hestiation rider, so have your dragon be wary," warned the female.

A roar above her, made her head skyrocket to the sky. Her own summoned dragons were asking for orders. Their prey was falling to the ground, and was not attempting to correct itself. "A dare it is," smirked the female. A dare she would not back down. Her dragons were fake, magic only, and expendable. She raised her hand to the sky and pointed to the green dragon.

She froze...

"Call them off," warned Brom as he pressed the knife in his hand to her throat from behind, "All of them, both archer and spell."

She did as she was told immediately. She knew her attacker and it terrified her. Above the dragons disapated and vanished and her archers lower their bows and pulled back. Brom quickly put himself between the riders and her. "See that wasn't so hard, now was it?" He voice full of childed like humor, grinning with arms outstretched in a welcoming gesture.

Brom looked up to Sulfur, a look of complete and utter seriousness, "Go. Home. Dragon. Now!"

"Ah, bloody hell, How do you do that?! Seriously, you appear out of nowhere and disappear in the same way." The topless Kat said as he jumped off Tenchi's back, his long green hair swaying slightly in the breeze as he laid his hammer across his shoulder blades with his hands resting lazily over the handle, he popped his neck and shook his head "I don't know whether to shake your hand or smack you over the head with this hammer, both sound really appealing to me at the moment." He slowly turned and gazed up at Maero "Are you alright? they didn't hurt you now, did they?"

Brom looked down at Kat, "Don't worry, you get the trick down soon enough." He quickly continued, after hearing the last comment directed to him by Kat.

"I would hope you would want my company than theirs," said Brom as he pointed the elf that jumped in response behind him. He caught the act," You not suppose to be here are you?" The elf looked around nervously at his words but refrain from answering him.

"Lovely...things have indeed change..."
PostPosted: Fri Oct 15, 2010 10:02 pm

"Sulfur... Mark them, We'll track them from here." Rouchlos whispers to his dragon knowing that jumping into that fight would be suicide for both him and his dragon. "The king will just have to wait to keep his prize." He continues as he was now running as hard as he could with his sword at his side as his eyes dead set on catching up to his dragon.

Sufur had ignored Brom's warning and instead chose to rise higher and higher into the sky until she could coast. over the winds there and save some energy. though the words of her rider was telling her to do something a bit too reckless, even for him. but she knew he was right. If they didn't keep that rider then their lives would be over in an instant So with out a moments hesitation she buckled her wings and dove straight for the small group, the dragon Tenchi, being her min target, but everything else would just make it simpler. at the front of her nose, she started forcing a think purple liquid to start forming just behind her nostrils, looking much like the poison her body created. though when she was only a few hundred feet above the tree line her wings shot out. and her body ripped away from the area like a speeding bullet leaving a light Myst to trickle down past the trees, and leave her mark on every one involved in the area.

((you guy's can say it missed, though I'm hoping that you'll help me out a bit lol))
