It's getting there. It used to be dead for weeks or months even, I think. It's starting to look really good in terms of activity, recently.

besides i looked at other LGBT guilds and they didn't seem as friendly. D;
maybe some members are just shy to post? er...

Tick: Really? Other LGBT guilds did not seem as friendly? How so? I would think all LGBT guilds would be very friendly and welcoming since a lot of people who aren't heterosexual or strictly heterosexual seem to be mistreated many times by heterosexuals; you'd think they would learn to treat others kind just to be different from the heteros who are not very friendly to others different from them.

er.. no, the forums were closed, i judjed by the welcoming page.. i know that most of heterosexual people really are nice. ^.^
i always wanted to join any LGBT team.. i feeled so lonely, other people around me hate homosexuals ; - ;

That sucks. I find it most people where I live seem to be pretty open minded about sexualities other than heterosexuality, except for my family. xp Well, I hope you enjoy it here. :]

Hi everyone..! So, um, I'm rather new to Gaia Online. I tried to get into it a few years ago, but it was so overwhelming, I gave up. I saw a presentation a few days ago about Gaia and it really made me want to try again. Finding an LGBTQIA guild definitely seems very, very interesting to me..!
A bit about myself.. I'm an LGBTQIA rights activist on campus. I often present, speak, or lecture about LGBTQIA issues. Also, I am the president of my campus's GSA, though for our group, that stands for "Gender and Sexuality Alliance" rather than "Gay Straight Alliance." We changed the meaning to be more inclusive to the BTQIA part of LGBTQIA. Much of my lecturing has to do with inclusion of other parts of the queer community.
More personally, I am 22 year old MtF transexual woman. I've been on hormones for a while now. I'm very far out (obviously), since I do so many public presentations about what it is to be trans.
I've worked myself very hard for the past year as president of my GSA. As the summer approaches, I'm trying to seek some outlets to get through the summer and to help me relax. I think meeting all these great people in Gaia may be just what I need..!
