I have a blue flute. I am satisfied. We had a concert with two other schools, and when I got my flute out, all the trumpets practically attacked me. I was like, "Give me space or I'll knock you upside the head with this thing!" lol
But I think a matte black (not glossy) flute would be cool. Plus, the paint is wearing off of mine where my right thumb rests. :/
Or, since I might take up drums next year, I'm going to color some drumsticks with Sharpie. Most of the past drummers have done that, and the blur of color looks really cool. I'd probably color them blue and yellow.
