Adam James Kiles When you can live forever... ...what do you live for? Adam James Kiles is feeling [Concerned] Adam hated moving at human pace, especially now that he had a reason to use his speed. It was a strange, new and exhilarating feeling knowing there was someone waiting for him to return. And he couldn’t wipe the smile off his face it was as if it was now engraved into his marble skin. When he finally reached the door to the dining hall he nearly busted it open when he tried to open it. He needed to calm down so he took a few breaths and continued to walk to walk to the counter. He looked through out the kitchen but not seeing anyone he called out. ”Hello… Is anyone there? I just need a spoon.” he waited only a few seconds before he decided to jump over the counter and take a plastic spoon from one of the holders. As Adam jumped back over the counter his cell phone rang. He pulled it from his pocket and flipped it open. It was his father ”Hello, Father, what can I help you with?” There was a second of silence on the other end then his father spoke. ”Adam, one of my old friends has done something to anger the Volturi and he is seeking refuge in out home. Now in the next few months I won’t be contacting you unless the circumstances are dire. Please do everything in your power to keep this from your sister. The last thing I need is to have her on my case. I trust you to keep her safe, and I love you son and your sister.” His voice was shaky but Adam knew his fathers resolve and he had incredible will. ”Consider it done. Goodbye, I love you too.” With that he snapped his phone closed and stood there dazed for a moment,He quickly snapped out of it and started towards his dorms again. He pushed the thought of his fathers call from his mind and focused on getting Kiyarah better any way he could. When he reached the door he herd piano music coming from inside his room as he silently opened the door he found Kiyarah sitting at his piano playing a song he had never herd. ”I didn’t know you played.” he said gently as he set her spoon on top of the soup container. He walked up beside her and gently set his hands on the keys. He moved across them to make sure the piano was still in tune. A few notes were slightly off but nothing anyone would notice. He began playing a song he had written a while ago. He played it softly and leaned over giving Kiyarah a kiss on the cheek.

{mood= chipper ツ} ♥ Lyrine ☮ {/mood} He wasn’t even surprised that it was her. Like Keith already knew. She nodded at his greeting and followed his eyes to the teacher. Lyrine felt herself grin widely with the teachers complete shock. She turned back to Keith as he started talking about his clothes. He actually even winked at her conspiratorially behind those glasses. It was funny, the explanation he gave the teacher, about “acquainting” her with the school. 'Cause so far he was doing a damn good job of it. Lyrine was ecstatic that Keith would be with her during breakfast. When he took her hand, she had to remind herself to breath. ‘He’s just a guy, Lyrine. Chillax.’ But she knew he wasn’t just a guy. He was special. He was her date to the Ball and he was probably the first shy person she had coaxed out of his shell. That’s what being stuck in a crappy school did. But either way, Lyrine couldn’t stop her heart from flipping in her chest. His hand was so comfortable. Holding her head high, Lyrine walked with him to the door. She turned to sneak a glance at the teacher when Keith waved, and the expression on the womans face made Lyrine giggle. ‘Yes, it is quite entertaining, isn’t it?’ She thought dryly to herself. "You’re right. It is weird. I mean, back in your dorm, you’re so teenagerish. Even in these clothes, you look you should be at the mall. But then I hear you talk to somebody, and its like you’ve completely thrown on a different costume. All formal and reserved. Did you see the expression on her face when you took my hand!?" Lyrine added laughing. Her voice echoed down the empty hall. She turned to Keith, and he was staring down at her. She blinked fast and grinned at him.
The hall stretched before them, and Lyrine imagined herself in a white long dress and Keith in a tux. “Here Comes the Bride” played in her head. She snapped out of her reverie when he began to talk again. She had to agree, though, it was a pretty big building. Whaddya expect from a snob school anyway? Everything had to bigger than life and shinier, sparklier. He asked about what she was making in the fashion department. For a moment, she was completely stumped. She thought about whether she wanted to tell him what she was making right now, or make him guess, or just completely surprise him during the Ball. With a sigh, she realized they were already approaching the door. Too soon for her. She wanted to keep walking this corridor forever and on and on as long as Keith was next to her the entire time. But, whatever, the hallway came to an end anyway. And she still hadn’t answered the question he asked her. She cleared her throat as they reached the door, but then Keith slipped his hand out of hers- which immediately made her freeze- and handed her his hoodie. Oh. She sighed with relief as she put it on. It was the most comfortable thing she’d worn in a long time. And it smelled so sweet, just like him. 'I could die happy wearing this thing.' Inhaling his scent was almost as good as touching him, but not quite good enough. Nothing could ever compare to that. So Lyrine reached back out to take Keith’s hand, smiling at him. She opened the door, noticing that it was cold. That’s probably what Keith had noticed when he had frowned at the double doors. She lead him out into the wind, immediately squinting her eyes even though the sun wasn’t out yet. She took a deep breath, saying "In the fashion department, I was… making a surprise. I’m not going to tell you yet what it was. You’ll see at the Ball." She could hint him that much, that it was something she’d wear to the Ball. When they approached the building for the cafeteria, Lyrine could see it was mostly empty. Even though she'd have thought the opposite, Lyrine assumed the students were clearing it for when it'd be closed. That is, assuming most of those gorgeous night-class girls actually ever ate anything. "So, whats up with the Night Class? Like, geniuses or something? They never associate with the day class it seems. Are they coming to the Ball, too. And what're you going to wear to the Ball?" She asked him as they got to the lunchline. Maybe Lyrine shoud've slowed down the questions. She always started getting carried away and rambling on...
You'll never get used to it. You'll just have to live with it.

ღ kiyarah ○ αитσιиєттє ○ briarwood ღ ♪ ♫just hold me close to your body Kiyarah Antoinette Briarwood is feeling just a little : { worried } Minutes had passed as Kiyarah waited for Adam to return. A smile crept onto her lips while she continued to play. The feel of moving her fingers across the cold, polished keys grew familiar to her. Although it brought some very nostalgic memories of her biological father. By now, she was just playing some random tune that she so happenly knew. She also hummed along, no real words coming to her mind. Again, she couldn't write her own compositions to save her life. Soon afterwards, she switched back to the song that she had first played when she sat at this piano. Her eyes had examined the piano while she had played. This thing had lived through years of damage and repair. It made her realize that Aadm was in fact a violent vampire when he was given the reason to. She was hoping never to see that side of him ever in her entire life. Thoughts of Adam were replaced by thoughts of her father again. This time, she didn't push them out of her mind. They had been in her unconscious mind for years. It was time she let them out for her to ponder over now that her life would revolve around a vampire.
The first time Kiyarah heard her father play the piano was when it was her first birthday. He had brought her to his music room, where the first thing that she saw was the beautiful piece of art that was his piano. Her father's ability to play the piano and her mother's master in the guitar had brought them together like an entwined string that would never be pulled apart. Kiyarah had sat on the long bench beside her father while he played a soft tune he had written for her for this special day. She remembered how her eyes were only on the man beside her than on the keys in front of her. To her, the most beautiful thing ever was not the piano or the song. It was her father. It was during those times that her love for him was so strong. Because he had told her that he had loved her as well. Those were the days before he hated her. Kiyarah remembered how tears had run down her cheeks while her father played and how at times he would take his hand off the keys to wipe them away. But the part of her memory that hurt her the most was when her father would continue to play while he leaned down to kiss her cheeks, to kiss the tears away. His lips were soft and warm to her skin. Almost like Adam's lips when she kissed him. A single tear ran down Kiyarah's cheek, a clear image of her father plastered in her mind while she continued to play.
And then a voice broke her out of her nostalgia. The familiar voice brought a smile onto her face and the tear that slowly ran down had disappeared. Kiyarah's bright blue eyes looked up at Adam as he walked over to her, placing the spoon on top of the container. "I don't really play. I just know a few tunes. Plus, I tried piano lessons when I was younger...and...well, you know how impatient I am with things so the lessons didn't work out for me," she explained with a bright blush on her cheeks. Adam moved with such grace that she hadn't noticed that he had sat beside her, his own hands moving across the keys. She stopped playing, bringing her hands onto her lap, folding them the way she did when she use to watch her piano teacher play the notes that she was to practice. Kiyarah's eyes stared down at the keys, watching each key being played with such beauty and grace that she almost felt jealous. "You're such an artist," Kiyarah whispered just before Adam had leaned down to kiss her on the cheek. Her smile brightened and her eyes were staring up at him again. The memory of her father flashed through her mind and out again in a span of seconds.
While Adam played, Kiyarah had gotten up off the bench and went over to grab the soup container. It was best to eat it now than later when he would get her to eat. Plus, the soup was getting cold. When she opened the container, a tiny whisp of steam lifted into the air, filling the her surroundings with chicken broth. Kiyarah closed her eyes and took a deep breath, feeling better already. As she exhaled, Kiyarah coughed a couple of times, but they were light so it was nothing that would be worried over. Picking up the spoon, Kiyarah scooped up some of the chicken, the noodle, and the broth and sipped it into her mouth. It tasted wonderful. Her tastebuds partied in a frenzy inside her mouth and her stomach let out a satisfied grumble now that it was being properly fed. She had been so into her food that she had become surprised when it was all gone. But she just shrugged the surprise off and went back to sit beside Adam at the bench. "Did I thank you for getting me the soup and blood?" she asked him, sitting on his right side and wrapping an arm around his arm while he played. She rested her head on his shoulder, watching him play. He's amazing. she thought, closing her eyes and letting the music fill her entire body with blissful happiness.
Suddenly, Kiyarah felt that something was off with this. Sure she was in Adam's room, and they were alone. But there was something that didn't feel right. It was a lingering stiffness that caused Kiyarah to feel a little concerned. As she opened her eyes, Kiyarah sat up straight and then turned to look up at Adam. Even though his face looked calm and relaxed, she knew that something was wrong that was making him look a little...stiff. Wanting to know what was wrong, Kiyarah placed her hands over Adam's and then closed her fingers around his. She then pulled his hands off the keys of the piano and lifted them up till her lips were pressed against his knuckled lightly. "Is something the matter?" she asked him in a soft voice, dropping their entwined hands onto her lap. The cool and hard feeling of his hands made her entire body tingle from head to foot. But she also felt worried for him, and she could definitely see it in her eyes as she gazed up into his amber ones.ll ooc:: I'll post for Keith tomorrow. ll&put that playlist on blast :: { Blessed - Christina Aguilera }♪ ♫

Adam James Kiles When you can live forever... ...what do you live for? Adam James Kiles is feeling [Sad] The notes flowed down to the piano with ease. The song was one he wrote for his mother or else the vague images he still had of her. Even though the memories he had of her were foggy at best he could still remember how she made him feel. Like he was the only one in the world that mattered to her and nothing he could do would ever disappoint her. He became so engrossed in the song when Kiyarah spoke it nearly startled him. She asked if she had thanked him for taking care of her. Adam just scoffed a bit and smiled ”Don’t worry, you getting better is it’s own reward.” The song was coming to an end while he enjoyed his company, who was cuddled up to his side. As the song began to slow he started thinking of the call he had received from his father. It seemed as if his father was worried about something and just wasn’t going to tell him what it was. The song was nearly over when Kiyarah had pulled his hands from the keys and pressed them to her lips. "Is something the matter?" she asked staring into his eyes with her bright blue ones. Adam smirked and stood from the stool, and with a gentle touch he lifted Kiyarah from the bench and placed her on the bed. When he tucked her under the covers and had cuddled up behind her he started to think of how he should word what he was going to say. He took a deep breath and began to spill it ”Well, I see there is no fooling you.” he said with a smile but with obvious pain in his eyes. ”Hm… Where to start? I know, well firstly my sister is dating the biggest playboy in school. That really is eating at me, but that problem I will have fixed soon enough. Secondly, I just got a call from my father that was most peculiar and I’m not sure what to make of it. He sounded worried and told me he would be absent from us for a while. But I’m sure he has a good reason for what ever it was he is doing.” He looked down at Kiyarah and smiled a pain filled smile hoping she wouldn’t notice but it was had to pull the wool over her eyes. ~ Feeling Keen. Just wandering around campus at a human pace was excruciatingly painful for Felix. This. Was. Boring. And inside, the feeling to go see Star gnawed at him like a nagging pain. Groaning, he turned and headed for the dining hall of the school. Honestly speaking, Felix had never seen the inside of the place. He had no need for food, and before the Ball, no event had ever taken place in there. But now, Felix thought maybe the human approach would make him feel slightly better. Felix’s head was clear from his close call with Adam, and the aggressive urge was gone. Now, Felix felt rather calm but impatient. Felix took longs strides in that direction, his head held high. He knew he wasn’t supposed to be out here, but the Prefects were MIA, and there was nothing stopping Felix from exploring a bit. Something he’d been chancing to do since that first morning at Oak Point. And going back now would mean some major violence between him and Adam- if Adam was still there. Felix froze for a moment, with his hands still on the double doors leading into the dining hall. And then, without rightly realizing what he was doing, Felix was inside. The smells were so strong; it was like the kitchen was right next to him. And the food smells that probably made human mouths water now repulsed Felix. And there were humans here. So many of them. Too many. Felix become conscious he could hear an odd sound; the sound of a piano being played somewhere. It was a perfect tune; you could time a metronome by it. Though Felix had never been much for music, finding it annoying and space-filling, he recognized the perfection. Only a vampire could play that. And the only one Felix knew fruity enough to do that was Adam. Which meant he wasn’t with Star. Felix could feel a warm smile spreading over his face. The humans became a blur before Felix’s eyes as he imagined Star’s elegant smile. A human couple were before him in line. Blithely, Felix waved at them and said a quick: "Have fun, guys."In one long stride, he’d turned and left through the door he’d just now entered from. Felix had no idea why he’d just let himself associate weith humans; he just felt happy at the sudden discovery he’d made.
Felix raced as fast as humans would to Star’s dorm. He could make out from his peripherals that nobody was watching, which only made him all the more anxious to get to Star. He made it to the dorm in record time, and arrived t her door. A slight twist of the knob told him it was unlocked. Felix was a vampire; he could be silent as shadows. And he felt mischievous at the moment. As carefully as the door would allow, Felix swung the door open slowly. He might be quiet, but who knew if the door would be? Apparently, it was well oiled and didn’t creak at all. Felix had to be quick; Star’s senses would tell her immediately that someone else was here. His senses still took in the mass of dresses and the red one crumpled on the floor he smoothly stepped over. Moving faster than a human would be able to see, Felix had crossed the tiny distance between the door and Star. He lifted her petite form into her arms and held her like a bride. She looked stunning, an experienced look in her eyes from when she’d been looking over the silvery dress on her bed. Felix had been too fast for the look to clear away yet. And then the other look that came as she saw him. He held her closer to his chest, and then a smile broke out over his face. He could never put in words what it felt like to see her again. Felix leaned down and kissed Star gently. She was so right, there in his arms. This was exactly where she belonged… how could anybody’s brother have a problem with that? Felix pulled back, looking at her sparkling eyes. "I had to come see you. And I know Adam is with his little prefect, so I ran on over. I was really hoping I’d catch you when you were still deciding which dress to wear. Maybe when you were still deciding which one fit better. When you were changing." Felix laughed quietly to show her he’d been joking. Maybe.
Never letting go of Star still in his arms, Felix used one hand to clear the bed before sitting down. If he could feel any more comfortable with Star, he might as well fall asleep. If vampires could, that is. "So," Felix asked, "found anything worth wearing yet? Or still rejecting one after another?" Her hair glimmered in the light. With a quick move, Felix had unpinned one of the chopsticks from it. Deftly, he took out the other one so her bags fell again. The ribbon was next, and Stars hair fell down, shimmying her like a soft blanket. Felix glanced at the hair accessories in his hands and held them out to her. "You look sexier with your hair down. Not that you don’t all the time. It just gives you that more…” He was out of words again. A little voice in his mind said, 'Screw the words. Who needs 'em anyway?' Shrugging, Felix leaned forward and let his lips touch hers one more time. That would hopefully tell her what he felt. She tasted delicious, and suddenly Felix could see why food didn't appeal to him anymore. How could it, when something so sweet was better?

Kiyarah left her room, and Star simply smiled and waved good-bye to her friend with a silent wish for her to get well soon. Her brother lingered, and Star was ready for any harsh comment he might throw her way. A million retorts roamed her head, but her eyes widened when his voice was soft and gentle. His words startled her even more, and he left her stunned. THat wasn't what she had expected, and even her cheeks turned slightly pink. She always knew her brother cared, but perhaps she'd been too rash in blaming him. Hopefully Felix hadn't or wasnt planning to hurt him. Speak of the devil, Felix came striding in as elegantly as possible into Star's room, although she could tell he was in a hurry. Before she could ask him about Adam, he swept her off her feet and kissed her in the most passionate way she'd ever been kissed. That kiss made her forget everything she was about to say. He broke it off to talk about her dresses, and then ended the sentence with a tease, to which Star leaned over and nipped his ear. She whispered, "Felix, I don't decide which one fits better. They all fit." He sat them both on the bed and let her hair down. She was about to protest against the harsh way he was treating her fashion accessories, but bit her tongue when he spoke again. When he ended with 'more...' she wanted to urge him on, until he platned his lips against hers again. Star grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him closer, deepening the kiss. Screw clothing... maybe he should've come in while I was 'checking which dress fit'. With a slight grumble, Star put one hand into his shimmering, silky hair and used the other to simply rip his shirt off. Who cared if it was designer? Benjamin could probably afford thousands more. The vampire then let her pale hands fall to his bare chest, not bringing him closer, but not pushing him away either. It hit her that even though he was a vampire, Felix's chest was warm, and Star liked it. Putting her hand back through his hair and putting one one his bare back, Star flopped onto the bed and pulled the male vampire over her. Never once breaking the kiss in the adjustment of positions, Star couldn't help but smile at how soon she was going against Adam's wishes from the moment he left her room. Felix's scent was strong, but her brother's sweet scent still lingered in the doorway. Adam... no. Felix. Her mind almost threw Adam away and clutched onto the man on top of her. As if trying to prove to herself that she loved Felix enough to go against her brother, Star broke the kiss and gently pressed her lips against his neck, trailing gently against his skin down to the top of his chest. Leaving his skin for a moment, however much her lips yearned to press against him, Star took the time to look at his gorgeous face a murmur, "Do you really think I can choose a damn dress with a hot-a** guy barging into my room and kissing me?" It was half a joke, but half truth. In the midst of their little moment, Star almost forgot what a reck her room was. REality came crashing down, but the petite vampire did her best to ignore it. A reality check could come later. Then Star kissed him back on the lips again, her arms moving from his bare chest to his bare back. The feeling of his skin against her hands was nice; no clothing in between them... well, except hers of course. ... Behind the scenes I'm just a Ġ ї я ł }

»»000000000000★keith . zachary . reynolds★ _________________________It's always about mind over matter.Keith Zachary Reynolds 's current mood : { content } The cold wind pinched at Keith's skin, even though he was wearing a thermo. Docking his head down against the wind, Keith speed walked towards the cafeteria with his hand holding tightly to Lyrine's as if she was going to fly away if he didn't hold her hand tight enough. The distance from the classrooms to the cafeteria seemed like a long travel, especially when the wind was blowing at least over fifteen miles per hour against them. But Keith wasn't going to complain. Because he didn't want Lyrine to worry about him when he had offered her his hoodie to wear so that she wouldn't be cold. Teeth chattering a little, Keith wrapped his free arm around his torso to at least attempt to keep himself warm.
It was santuary when he and Lyrine had arrived in front of the cafeteria. Keith almost bolted through the double doors to stand inside the warmth that he knew would be present when inside the dining hall. But he had to keep himself composed while in the presence of someone else. So he walked into the dining hall in a composed manner, letting go of Lyrine's hand before anyone inside the dining hall got suspicious. He didn't want people talking about him when their topics were absolutely false. After all, the fact that Lyrine was wearing his hoodie was enough to get people here talking. Day Class students, especially the girls, had a knack of taking things over the top. As they stepped into the lunchline, Keith handing Lyrine an empty lunchtray, he listened to her explanation of what she was making in the fashion department. A smirk appeared on his lips. He had a feeling of what it might be from the second she uttered the words "ball" at the end of her sentence. It has to be her ball gown. What else could she be making in the fashion department? My tux? Keith let out a small scoff when Lyrine's back was to him and then put on a straight face. For now, just for Lyrine's benefit, he was going to play it off like he had no idea what she was making at all. Even when it was going to be hard for him to pull it off.
Suddenly it was twenty questions for him. Keith had to clear his mind of other subjects just to remember the questions Lyrine seemed to be rambling on while they got their food. The continuous questions made Keith wonder if Lyrine was trying to avoid awkward silences or if she was nervous being around him. He was hoping it was none of the two. While he grabbed a small cup of cherry flavored jello and placed it on his tray, Keith found a time for him to respond to all her questions. But he was going to drag them on one at a time, just so that he could spare some good time between the two of them so that they don't fall into awkward silence. "From what I have heard, the students of the Night Class are very intelligent. I believe that they don't really need general education classes anymore because they seem to have enough knowledge for all of them. And it's fairly odd that they are all really pale in the skin. Some of the people in my dorms have said that they are all allergic to the sun but I don't believe that," he responded to the first two questions. He led Lyrine to his lunch table, taking her tray and carrying it for her. He overheard a few girls a couple tables away giggling when they passed. Please don't tell me they were giggling at us. I already had to deal with the fashion teacher! he complained, supressing the groan that wanted to come out.
When Keith arrived at his table, he set down his tray at his usual spot and then placed Lyrine's on the table on his opposite side. He preferred to have the people he spoke to sit across him so that he could look at them without having to strain just to speak. His father had taught him that manner so it was part of him out of instinct. "The Night Class do interact with students from the Day Class, but I suppose those students are all so tired from being in school all night that they never really have time to hang out with us," he said, cutting even pieces of his pancakes and then taking a satisfying bite. Once he swallowed, Keith continued. "Yes, they are coming to the ball. I believe that is the reason why the Chairman has cancelled classes today. So maybe the students from the Night Class could spend time with the students from the Day Class if not tomorrow or Sunday. It's strange because the Night Class doesn't even come out and during the weekends when we all know that they're probably all rested up and such. Ah well. We'll have the ball to spend time with those students." After a couple bites of his pancakes, Keith said, "As for what I'm going to wear to the ball. That will be a secret I'll never tell." And then he flashed the girl a quick wink before going back to his breakfast. "success doesn't come in wrapping paper and a bow. "

ღ kiyarah ○ αитσιиєттє ○ briarwood ღ ♪ ♫just hold me close to your body Kiyarah Antoinette Briarwood is feeling just a little : { caring } Kiyarah had never in her years at Oak Point seen Adam this concerned. A small part of her almost melted, seeing this side of Adam must be a rare occasion for anyone. Even Star. But the rest of her felt concerned him. As he placed her on his bed, bringing the covers around her, Kiyarah turned her head so that she was looking up at him. She flashed him a soft, comforting smile, slipping a hand from under the covers and running it across his cheek. They laid in silence for a bit before he finally spoke. Even his words were sugar coded with worry and sadness. This made her heart beat painfully to see the man she loves in such a state. And then her heart was filled with the determination to make him happy again. The only difficult part of this was how she was going to do that when cheering him up was something she had never done before. The first thing she could do was listen to what he had to say, and then hope that she could give him some advice. But would he want advice from me? A mere child that's only lived for sixteen years? she thought with a soft sigh. Her eyes dropped him from his gaze for a second and then she lifted them back up to stare into his amber eyes.
The first part of Adam's explanation made a lot of sense. Of course he would be worried about Star and Felix. After all, Felix sure didn't give himself a good reputation that would scream out "I'm totally approved by all relatives!" when dating some other girls. Not that she would know, seeing as she never really gave Felix a chance to flirt with her since her head was always filled with Adam. The second part of his explanation however stumped her. The reflection in Adam's eyes showed Kiyarah that when he had mentioned his father, her eyes had flashed a look of confusion. It had been a long while since Adam's father was mentioned in any conversation. Not even when she was talking to the Chairman. For all she knew, the man had been in hiding for most of her life in Oak Point since his visit to the school when she was thirteen. So when Adam had mentioned that his father would be out of contact for a while, Kiyarah couldn't help but feel shocked by this piece of information. For the past four or so years, Kiyarah had thought that Mason Kiles cut off all contact with his kids except through the Chairman. Now showed how wrong this hybrid was. But she wasn't going to worry about that now when the person she loved was in so much inner pain. It nearly broke her heart to see such pain in his eyes. She just had to do something before this saddened expression lasted longer than needed.
As Adam gave her a weak smile, Kiyarah's eyes glistened with tears that wanted to come out but she fought them back. How he was able to show such an emotion stumped Kiyarah. But all she knew was that he was really worried for his family. And all she could do was give some comforting words that she hoped would help. As she pushed the covers off the top part of her body, Kiyarah sat up and placed a small hand on his chest. She could feel his chest rising and falling with every breath but no heartbeat. She then leaned forward, giving him a soft and quick peck on the lips before pulling away with just an inch of space between them. Then she rested her forehead against his, her eyes and lips smiling comfortingly. "Every thing is going to turn out fine, Adam. For your sister, and for your father," she whispered softly. As she pulled away, Kiyarah laid Adam back on the bed and then rested her head on his chest. The sound of his steady breathing was soothing to hear, and it gave her enough courage to attempt to help him relax and be at least a tad happier. "You really should give Star some credit. She is after all over a century's old and has probably witnessed playboys before. So I'm sure she knows what she's doing when it comes to Felix," she explained while her left index finger drew circles on his chest. She had almost forgotten that he was still wearing the sweater she had made him put on.
After a short pause, Kiyarah continued. "Also try to give Felix a break. I've noticed a slight change in him this year. Sure he's still got the temper that his family is famous of having. But his hunt for different girls has gone down by a lot. And who knows. Maybe Star will be the one to show Felix that commitment is the best thing for him." Kiyarah lifted her head up to look at Adam, a brighter smile on her lips. Her heart had began to race when she spoke her last sentence. Even though now was the not the best time to have such thoughts, Kiyarah was glad that she was the one that got Adam to consider "commitment" for the first time. When she rested her head back on his chest, she closed her eyes and continued. "Don't do anything that you know you'll regret later on," she whispered, hoping he knew what she meant by those words. Fighting, to Kiyarah, never solved anything. Never. It only made things worse.
Advice about his father took longer to think about. Because her biological father had basically abandoned her, and her adoptive father was always by her side, Kiyarah never knew what it felt like to have her father figure go without speaking to her for a while. She never counted her biological father in these kind of thoughts. After taking a deep breath, which led to her coughing a few times, Kiyarah wrapped her arm around Adam's waist and held him close to her body even when the covers wrapped around her were giving her a little trouble. "Do you know what your father could be doing during this time that he has asked you to stop contacting him?" she asked, feeling that Adam was forgetting to tell her one small bit of information. But then she had another thought. What if he was keeping it from her for a reason? But what reason would he have? Maybe he just didn't want to really think about it? So many questions filled this hybrid's mind while she waited for an answer from Adam. Lifting her head up again to look at him, Kiyarah leaned herself forward and kissed him on the cheek. She then rested her forehead against his again and said, "Your father is going to be okay. I remember the first time I met him four years ago. Even though he was so kind to me, I thought he was scary and someone I didn't want to anger." She let out a giggle, hoping that that statement would maybe put a happier smile on Adam's face.&put that playlist on blast :: { Right Here (Departed) - Brandy }♪ ♫

Adam James Kiles When you can live forever... ...what do you live for? Adam James Kiles is feeling [Peaceful] Adam smiled as Kiyarah tried to console him. Not that it was in vain he just didn’t feel much like cheering up. In fact his mind was set on trying to figure out what his father could be doing. As he raked his brain Kiyarah asked what his father might be doing. Adam laughed a little and responded ”I was just trying to figure that one out for myself. He said he was going to help a friend and that’s it” he said with a slight frown on his face. He looked at Kiyarah and smiled at her beauty he didn’t want her to worry about him. She should be focusing on getting better. Kiyarah broke the silence again with a quip about his father being scary. Adam laughed and leaned over to kiss his new love. He pressed his cold hard lips to her warm soft ones and took in a sharp breath. He was never going to get used to her and how she made him feel. In all his years some silly little hybrid stole his heart and he has never been so happy. He kissed her for a moment longer then pulled away and looked down at her. ”You are still sick my love. Is there something you would ask of me so I can speed up your recovery?” Adam waited for a response and observed her. The way she smelled, like fresh flowers, was always so amazing. And the sound of her heart, beat much faster then your average humans, he was so attuned to it he could find her in a crowd just by listening. He pressed his face into her hair and took a deep breath. He couldn’t help the smile that crawled across his face. He pulled her tight to his chest and waited for her response.[ooc] Sorry its so short. I have alot on my mind.[/ooc]

~ Feeling Sweet. Felix was honestly glad when Star did him the favor of getting his shirt out of the way. Good riddance of a bad nuisance. Felix had no idea why the adage popped into his head. It was something the Count had always said after losing his temper and accidentally killing someone. It had certainly happened before many times. Maybe now Felix felt the necessity of it because he was once more plunging into something he didn’t completely understand. He had done this before so many times with other girls, it also felt like routine. They all wanted him; they all forgot about everything else with him in sight; they all let him do what he wanted. But, somehow in a way Felix knew he would never place, it was different with Star. She had more at stake. She wasn’t an innocent little human, or one of the vampires that thought they could actually make Felix fall in love with them. The honest truth of the matter was that Felix was falling in love with her. He didn’t think it was possible before now, but it was happening. With this stunning female vampire that Felix didn’t even know for very long. And the one that every dress would fit on; Felix didn’t doubt the statement. "I think I’d like you better in something red." Felix teased, deciding he’d color coordinate with her on whatever Star wore. He usually didn’t do stuff like that, but somehow, Star struck him as the sort of girl that would consider coordinating 'cute'. He suddenly realized he was willing to do that for her.
She wasn’t kissing his mouth anymore, but Felixs lips moved with hers in rhythm. Felix shivered in anticipation over her, despite the fact she felt warm to him. He stayed propped up on his elbows, one hand on her back to pull her closer to him. His mouth inhaled her soft silky hair. He winced for a moment as he smelled the dye used to make her hair shine hot pink. Felix paused his desire as she spoke to him. It bought him back to Earth- well, technically still Heaven since he was so close to Star. He hesitated for a moment. "Star, I need to know if you’re okay with this." he told her seriously in a whisper, looking into those beautiful eyes. If there was one thing about girls that Felix had learned and knew was that you should be most polite with them. Always ask them first. Even when all they were worth was a good session in bed. Especially the humans, though they were usually incoherent to formulate words and just nodded. Not like any girl would refuse Felix anyway. But just to make sure, Felix asked her. Because, of course, everything changed with Star. Felix wasn't sure what to think when she was around. She wasn't the same. She was so much more. He pressed closer, waiting for Star to answer.

Pearll .. Lynnette .. Spiet Forever don’t exist for us but, please just let me hold you tightly for now. Pearll is feeling like she has lots of energy. “There goes all my fun…” Pearll complained as Tyler left with a ‘you must stay in school’ kind of thing. She pouted and stuck her tongue at the direction Tyler went. She was being childish, but she didn’t care. “So… what should we do now?” She asked Farah, who was being rather quiet all this time. Her eyes sparkled as she thought of an equally awesome idea. “Farah, wait here!” She shouted as she ran to her room. Grabbing all the magazines that she could see, her laptop, her Zen, and all of her favourite CDs, she rushed back to Farah’s room. “Guess what? We’re going to have slumber party in the morning!” Excitedly, she dumped everything onto the floor. She gave Farah a great smile, but her heart gave a huge twinge of guilt. With the slumber party, Farah’s room is going to get messy. Real messy. “Far—“ But she stopped suddenly, she wasn’t going to spoil her fun. I’m so sorry. I shall return your room to you after the party. She spoke silently, she knew Farah was going to hear it sooner or later. They had Night Patrol together.
An idea was bubbling rather enthusiastically at the back of her mind. Should I get some friends to join us? She didn’t pose this question to Farah. Pearll knew that she don’t approve of some of her friends, like Star. Farah found them irksome and… I guess it’s the wrong thing to be thinking, I’ll be dredging the foulest curse words ever muttered. I still think we should invite the rest of the school, I mean a selective number of people… Lyrine, yes. Kiyah, yes. Star… Okay… I’ll have to stop the both of them killing each other, but it’s worth a shot. Smirking as she figured out the girls to invite, Pearll turned to face Farah. “I’ll be going out to get something. Wait here till I come back, okay? It’s a surprise!” Eyes twinkling, she went back to her room. She took what she thought she needed and threw them into a bag. She left it on her bed and went back to Farah’s room. “Sorry, that wasn’t the surprise.” She smiled ruefully. “I’m going to get the real surprises now!” Cheerfully, she skipped to the front doors. Pearll loved skipping when she was young, it was a way to show how happy she was and show-off her boundless energy. She slowed to a fast trot as she went out of the front doors. Trotting along, she went to the Sun Dorms to find Lyrine.
Opening the door silently, she slid into the Dorms. Its structure was rather similar to Moon Dorms and Pearll had no problem locating the girls’ dorms. Waving at someone upstairs, she quickly climbed the steps. “Eunice, do you know where Lyrine sleeps?” “Yep. But she went out in the morning and hasn’t been back yet.” “Do you know where she went?” “I’m guessing it’s the fashion room or something. But I saw her with Keith in the Dining Hall.” Bingo! “Thanks a lot! See ya later!” Smiling, she ran down the steps and out of the Dorm. She had to be fast. She wanted to catch Lyrine before she left the Dining Hall. She ran through the ajar doors of the Dining Hall. Weird. I was sure it was locked just now! Pearll thought as she tried to spot Lyrine among the huge throng of teenagers. Seeing her blond curls in the distance, she quickened her footsteps and arrived there in a short period of time. “Hi Keith. Hi Lyrine!” She said as she bends down to whisper to Lyrine. “After your breakfast, meet me at the entrance to Moon Dorms. There’s a really important thing that I need your assistance on. We’re going to have a slumber party! I know you haven’t met much of the girls in Oakpoint, it’s a great chance to meet more. Oh, and I don’t accept ‘no’ for an answer.” She straightened up. “See you later! Bye, Keith!” She smiled and left. The smell of food was very tantalizing but she couldn’t afford to waste time eating in the Dining Hall.
Walking slowly because of the many humans around her, she greeted many of her classmates. As she neared the Twilight Dorms, she picked up pace. Better to get this over and done with. The overpowering stench of the many vampires living in Oak Point hit her and she reeled. Her nose hurt terribly, but she had to invite Star… And maybe Kiyah, if she’s there with Adam. That’s one good thing about this werewolf thing, you get to know everything about the school. Every rumor and gossip. Chuckling softly, she knocked on the door. She knew better than to barge in like she did in Sun Dorms. Vampires could kill her; humans could not. I’d bet they could smell me inside. And wondering if they could eat me for lunch. Pearll thought. “Someone, open up! It’s Pearll. And I’m not here to like kill every one of you. I’m alone as you obviously know…” The lock clicked and door opened. “About time. I was won—“ the stench emanating from the vampire who opened the door was familiar. s**t. She looked up in horror to see Marcus standing at the door. “You b***h…” He grabbed hold of her hand, Not again. Coming here was such a bad idea. I should’ve just gone to the Chairman to get Star’s phone number. And called her. Damn it. “HELP!” She hurled. She disliked calling for people to help her, she would rather help others… but desperate times call for desperate measures.ooc: just a distraction. there's no way I'm going to let Pearll chance upon those romantic scenes. (: "I am what I am."

farah..elen..redding "I'm in love with your potential ...today Farah is {a bit more sunshine-y}.
I'm in love with what you should be, baby." Ican be fun. I can be fun! It'll be fine. Probably just a few humans, and maybe the prefect. Just an opportunity to get to know a few more people. It'll be great. Fun, even!Farah didn't care that she was lying to herself. Her room was going to be a disaster area, and if Kiyarah showed up, she was going to be burning incense for a week to get the foul over-sweetened stench out of her room. It wasn't that the prefect was so bad on her own, but the girl spent her time all over Adam Kiles, and on play dates with the rest of the blood suckers. The idea was becoming even less appealing the more she thought about it. What if Pearll decided to completely take leave of her senses and invite the leeches? She was just attacked by one of them, what was she thinking?
It was then that Farah had heard enough of her own thoughts. Her room had already become something of a mess, and Pearll had been there for all of fifteen minutes. Farah wiggled out of her uniform skirt and into a pair of sweat pants. She tossed the skirt into her laundry basket, and tidied up the space quickly. Her homework went onto her desk, except the book she'd been reading, which she kept on her pillow. The rest of her dirty laundry joined her skirt. Once the room was appropriately clean, she slipped on a pair of sneakers, and stretched. Once she could feel her muscles, she jogged to the steps of her dorm, breathed deeply, and listened quietly. The campus was so active given the day off from classes. It didn't stop her from catching what she'd been hoping not to hear.
"HELP!" Pearll's voice screamed. She was exactly far enough to be at the Twilight Dorm. Her running path usually consisted of the loop of sidewalks lined around campus, excluding the one that led in that direction. She'd then round the ground's gates to put her mind at ease about what might be going on around the school. Her body carried her much too fast to explain away, but it didn't matter. One of her pack was in trouble. Real, actual trouble. As she ran through the muddy grounds of her senses focused on Pearll and the the scent of Marcus, the vampire that had been in the Moon dorm earlier.
Her eyes narrowed and she heard herself let out a low growl. She pushed her body harder, and felt herself move faster, with more force. Farah's muscles tensed and she felt a gruesome CRACK in her shoulder as she used her full force and momentum to put Marcus on the ground. Her knee was under his chin keeping his head to the ground when they'd landed.

ღ kiyarah ○ αитσιиєттє ○ briarwood ღ ♪ ♫just hold me close to your body Kiyarah Antoinette Briarwood is feeling just a little : { afraid } An inaudible giggle crept out of Kiyarah's lips as Adam leaned in and kissed her. A big smile could not help but form as she kissed him back, her hands running through his hair. Her eyes closed long enough to enjoy the kiss before he pulled away a second later. This was the one thing she hated about being sick and being with someone that would never be sick. They could never get over the fact that she needed to get better. With a small pout on her lips, Kiyarah pushed away from Adam a little to get some air. "Well first off, you need to give me room to breathe silly! I'm still part human after all," she said, giggling continuously while she rested her hands on his chest. She then looked up, smiling into his eyes. After a small intake of breath, it felt as if something had caught into her throat. Pushing out of Adam's hold completely, Kiyarah turned onto her other side and coughed a fit. She had one hand over her mouth and another around her neck, massaging it like the Chairman had done whenever she was sick back when she was a little girl. She continued coughing till her eyes watered and she had a hard time breathing. It was as if her throat had closed up of some sort. Seconds later, Kiyarah let out a small breath and then turned onto her back. She hadn't realized that the blanket that was around her had slipped down to her waist until she noticed that her chest was heaving up and down at a fast rate. "Boy. That was horrible," she muttered to herself, wiping the tears from her cheeks. Kiyarah hadn't had a coughing fit like the one she had earlier since she was a little girl.
After a moment or so of silence and attempting to bring her heart rate back to normal, Kiyarah turned to look at Adam and smiled lightly. "If you're wondering, I'm fine. No need to worry," she said, leaning onto her side to give Adam a peck on the lips. She then pulled away and brought her head onto his chest again with her ear right above the place where his heart was. She heard no heart beat, but there was only steady breathing. It was still soothing to listen to. "Your breathing rate sounds almost like when you play. It's amazing. It's as if music is with you everywhere you go," she whispered, closing her eyes to listen carefully. It was the most amazing sound she had ever heard. It was also quite familiar as well. But her mind and her heart could not put the familiarity into an image. So she was slightly confused as to why she had felt this kind of way before when hearing this person's heart beat. Obviously, the familiarity could not be from Adam, since they were basically never together instead of when they were in the Chairman's office doing updates of the school. But she wasn't going to stress over it, she was after all still sick. And so, as she wrapped her arms around Adam's waist loosely, Kiyarah let out a soft moan. She was feeling nothing but comfort when around this guy. It made her heart leap in place to know that she had him now and he was here for her.
First things first, Kiyarah still had to do the job of cheering Adam up. Because he didn't deserve to be this upset. Sure he had every right to worry about his father, but the man was probably as strong as the Volturi themselves. Revealing her blue eyes again, Kiyarah tilted her head up to look right into his eyes. "Try not to worry so much okay? Your father will be all right. No matter what he has to do. My father always said that your father has a strong head on his shoulders. So he probably knows what he is doing," she explained, smiling brightly at Adam in the hopes that he would smile back without the look of sadness in his eyes. As she sat up, kicking the blanket off of her body, Kiyarah leaned down and placed her hands on either side of Adam. Her lips were about to touch his when a loud cry reached her ears. She pulled away almost instantly, turning her eyes towards the curtain drawn windows. The voice that cried out for help was so familiar. And then her eyes widened, it was Pearll. "Pearll!" she cried out, jumping out of the bed and rushing over to the door. But as she passed the grand piano, her feet had stumbled on air, causing her to fall forward flat on her face. A loud and painful groan came out from her lips as she rubbed the parts of her body that was aching.
But in mere seconds, Kiyarah was back on her feet and rushing out the door. As she ran down the stairs, careful not to trip on one and then come tumbling down like she had done once before, Kiyarah noticed that most of the vampires of this school was in the common room with their attention at the front door. There was a look of disgust on every vampires' face that Kiyarah had passed. She found out the reason why as soon as her hands touched the doorknob of the entrance and pulled it open. There were two werewolves outside, and one of them was holding down Marcus who looked really beat up for someone that was a vampire. Kiyarah's eyes looked over at Farah, the person that was holding Marcus down. But instead of speaking to the Alpha of the wolves pack, Kiyarah faced Pearll. "What happened here?" she asked, and then turned to look at the other vampires. They all averted their eyes, not wanting to get involved with this commotion. She let out a sigh, waiting for someone to speak. A strong gust of wind blew passed Kiyarah, causing her to shiver vigorously. Her breathing grew heavy and she suddenly wished she had taken Hugo's sweater with her. Only to remember that Adam was wearing it so that no other girl could see his bare body. Kiyarah let out a sigh, squinting her eyes against the wind. She continued to look from one werewolf to another while rubbing her arms for warmth. Her throat felt dry which led to her coughing a couple of times every other minute. Her eyes remained on Marcus, wondering if she should ask for Farah to let him go. It was her duty as Prefect. So with a sigh, Kiyarah took a step forward and looked right at Farah. "Can you please let go of Marcus, Farah?" There were a few hisses behind Kiyarah after she had said Farah's name. A sigh came out of Kiyarah's lips. There was no way these two species were never going to work together if they kept feeling this hate for each other. ll ooc:: Sorry this is like really crappy. ll&put that playlist on blast :: { Rescue Me - Tokio Hotel }♪ ♫

Adam James Kiles When you can live forever... ...what do you live for? Adam James Kiles is feeling [Enraged] Words could not describe how being on the same planet as Kiyarah made him feel. As they lay there Adam quietly listened to anything she was saying nothing distracting him for even a millisecond. As they lay there Kiyarah pushed off of him and began to a long coughing fit. Aparently the look on his face gave him away and Kiyarah said "If you're wondering, I'm fine. No need to worry." Adam smiled half heartedly and accepted her kiss. She leaned over and set her head on his chest and Adam kept his breathing steady. All Adam could do was smirk when Kiyarah said his breathing sounded like music. He kissed the top of her head and spoke ”Music is a very large part of my life. I would b nothing without it.” Adam let his mind wander as she relaxed with her head on his chest. He was thinking of how things would be now if they had not been together. And the first thought that popped into his head was that either he or Felix would be dead right now. But it wasn’t long until he was pulled back into this world as Kiyarah spoke again. She must have misinterpreted the look on his face, though he was worried about his father, it wasn’t really bugging him at the moment. Adam smiled and kissed her forehead ”I know my dear, I know.”As Adam pulled his lips from her forehead was when he herd the cry of help. Kiyarah was out of the bed in an instant and heading for the door. He watched her fall but a part of her vampire was kicking in and she was moving incredibly fast. She was out of the room so quickly Adam jumped to his feet and followed after her. But the second Adam caught the scents he knew what had happened. He walked through the open door and found Pearll and Farah with her knee on Marcus’s throat. Kiyarah began speaking but upon seeing Marcus, once again having gone after Pearll, Adam was thrown into a blind rage. With all his teeth bared, Adam walked over to Marcus and Farah. As gently as he could he “removed” Farah from Marcus. He picked Marcus up by the throat and held him in the air in front of him. ”Marcus, do you have any regard for anyone?” Adam loosened his grip ever so slightly so Marcus could speak. ”Well mister perfect, If you weren’t with Kiyarah all the time I would be all over her.” The sound that escaped Adams lips was one pure, unadulterated, rage. Adam, with blinding speed, slammed Marcus into the concrete under them so hard that pieces of the slab went flying into the air. ”I hope you have enjoyed your last day at this school, because I will sooner see you dead than walking these halls again.”
