((I might be going to go see the Unborn with my close friends tonight. xD Hahahaha. I haven't seen a horror movie in forever man...))
Gabriel tilted his head back and took another swallow of beer. "I'm not too sure Abel would ever want you guys to know of any of this. He'd rather just say nothing, so unless he brings it up, you'd probably be best to keep it to yourselves. But when he was a kid he had a lot of problems." He put the beer on the table and glanced out the window. "His parents...they weren't..." He stopped and tried to think of the right word. "They weren't all together. His mother was very selfish, in a way that made her think everything had to be perfect. And his father...let's just say he had problems handling his emotions. So the two of them together wasn't exactly the best pair. Abel grew up too fast. He never experienced childhood. Instead he experienced adult hood in the most negative way possible. He thought it was normal."
Gabriel narrowed his eyes and shook his head. "And because he was always trying to do everything right and everything perfect for his parents, he grew detached. He did everything in his power to keep away. He had to do everything perfectly or he'd be worthless. The littlest things had to be exact, had to be precise, or else he'd not be his parent's son." His eyes shifted towards the hall at the perfectly even pictures and the dusted tables.
"Being perfect doesn't make you happy. Being afraid to even say something in fear it'd be the wrong something...it doesn't make you proud of yourself." Giving a sigh he looked back to Alice and Talen. "Being TOLD those things and being punished severely for them...to put it simply he was a very broken and very lonely kid. What's scary about all of that, was no one knew. He was so good at hiding and so good at putting up a wall that no one suspected anything."
The beer went back to his lips and he became silent.
((DEEP MAN. haha I changed that a lot. I didn't want him to say TOO much...but kind just hint at things. D: ))
Abel laughed a bit when Saul shook him and he sniffed, wiping at his cheeks. "Thank you..." he said quietly as he took steadying breaths, trying to calm himself down little by little. It felt strangely good to let it all out, get the tears out before they drowned him on the inside.
"I'm worried, Saul..." His eyes lowered and he sniffed again, running a hand under his nose and licking his lips. "I don't know how I'm supposed to fix...things. I see them everywhere I look. Every time I open my eyes there's a new problem brewing that I want to change before it hurts anyone...or before it hurts them any more than it has. But I'm clueless as to how. I feel if I don't do anything soon, I could lose things that mean a lot to me."
His eyes closed and he put his hands to his knees. "I want to help, but I don't know how to."

((OKAY. FINALLY. I POST.
Also:... that movie preview made me very afraid D:
I AM A WUSS. el oh el. XD; ))
Alice had a hand to her mouth. "That's terrible." Is all she could say, because it was, what else was there to say?
Talen had his arms crossed and was silent. He was staring pensively into space.
"I mean... I kind of noticed the eagerness to please and the... well." She tossed a hand about her house. "But I didn't really know it was... because..." and she looked deeply sad, feeling for Abel in the way she did for most people. In a way she understood, in others she couldn't imagine parents doing that to their child.
"Stop that." Talen said, but not accusingly.
Alice laughed a little. "I'm sorry." She leaned her head briefly on her brother's shoulder and then finished off her drink.
"No one ever said anyone's parents were great. They can love you, but love you in cruel ways, huh?"
"Don't say that."
"Fine. I won't... but it goes without saying."
((hahaha, yeeep... OKAY. GO.))
Saul shook his head. "Abel. You can't FIX everything. Everyone gets hurt... things go wrong, people break. It's a fact of life... I haven't been living TOO long, but man, I know that out of everything anyone's ever told me... that's the greatest truth I know. It's about the only true thing I know... I know it's not... exactly comforting, but hey, remember what I said? Having you here. That's all it takes to mend it. Just being here. I swear I'd already be dead if I hadn't had Talen all these years... and in some sick way Cain."
He moved in front of Abel so he could catch his gaze. "And I'm helping YOU aren't I? Just be there for someone. That's all anyone can ask. Life is not controlled, but love can be... and I know you can't understand why I care, but seriously It's all in the human condition. We're like... I dunno, but I couldn't just leave you... just like how you couldn't leave me when I got ******** up." He waved a hand at his mangled face.
"Don't ask questions. I care because I care. Maybe it's because I took to many blows to the head... smoked too much weed? I wasn't loved enough growing up?" He laughed. "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, just let me take care of you, because I let you take care of me."
((hahaha, that was nice biggrin ))

((Hahaha well we all ended up coming over to my house and sitting around to watch Team America and play Guitar Hero. xD Haha. FUN. Then we took a detour to my friend's house to eat cake before taking my other friend home.))
Gabriel nodded as Alice spoke, still gazing out the window. He didn't need to tell Abel's life story, just like Alice and Talen didn't need to tell theirs. Some things were meant for when that person wanted to say it. Gabriel knew all about Abel, he had watched Abel from afar all his life, he was assigned to him, helped in background without being seen. During those years he realized a lot of things couldn't be helped. He wasn't able to change Abel's parents, he wasn't able to make them show compassion and praise to their child, but the little things he was able to do...he liked to think it made his life just a bit easier, despite the fact he was never able to truly save the boy's life.
"I don't think any of us truly understand parenthood until we get our own child. So for us to really say if they loved him or not is honestly not our spot. I can't sit there and say they didn't love him. But I think all his heart ache and troubles made him who he is, and despite all those flaws he has, he's one of the nicest people I've met, maybe one of the most annoying in the way that he never cares about himself...but it's really hard to find someone who's willing to give their heart, mind, and blood for you."
He gave a sigh and shook his head.
((Womanizer woma womanizer you're a womanizer oh womanizer...
Lawls. It was stuck in my head.))
Abel tilted his head up to examine Saul when he moved in front of him. He swallowed and nodded slowly, calming down slightly as the boy spoke to him. He felt his heart slow down and his body relax. He rubbed at his nose and smiled slightly. "Thank you, Saul." He said quietly and dried off his cheeks, sniffling as he did so. "I really feel better..." Taking a breath he winced as pain laced his side.
"I'm glad I came here. At first I really didn't want to, but I'm glad I did." His eyes flickered up when he saw the door open.
"Get in bed." A rough voice said, followed by a familiar figure who was shutting the door. Lilith pulled at her t-shirt and looked to Abel curiously. "Where's your other arm?"
Abel blinked and looked confused. "Ummm."
"Talen."
"Oh...he's at home." Abel said, looking away. Lilith shrugged and walked over to Saul, ushering him back to his bed. Her eye patch was off as were her other bandages. Everything looks as good as it had before she had them.
Lilith took a step back and watched Saul, studying him carefully. "You look a little better. Still look like a train wreck though." She said with that strangely neutral voice. "I didn't interrupt any male bounding time did I?"
Abel laughed slightly and shook his head, standing up and wincing again. "No, I was about to leave anyways."
"Ah...okay then." Liltih raised a brow and Abel looked over to Saul with a reassuring smile, as if to say he'd be okay, before walking out of the room. "What's wrong with blondie?" Lilith asked calmly as she walked over to the window and propped it open.

((Loool.... WELL. WHATEVER. Horror movies suck anyway.
SPEAKING OF MOVIES. LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE?
It's great. It makes me laugh and cry and cry and laugh D:< .... and I frickin' hate that womanizer song. It makes me shout: SHUT UP! at the radio. And people look at me funny D: THE END.))
"He really is..." Alice said softly
Talen nodded his head, strangely somber.
Alice leaned forward and grabbed Gabriel's hand. "Does he really have to go?" She said suddenly, eyes pleading. "Is there anything we can do?"
"Anything." Talen emphasized for his sister.
((...YEAH. ))
Saul laughed, something that was startled out of him. "Yeah... well... you're welcome." He said. He rubbed at his head. There was a look of disbelief on his face. "Heh." He smiled sideways. "Yeah. You're welcome." He said again.
When the door opened and he saw Lilith he shrank a little. "I will, I will." But of course she helped him get there and he looked embarrassed, but thankful. He sat back on his pillows and sighed. He raised his eyebrows when she mentioned he looked better and they vanished beneath his tumble of hair. "Really?" He touched his face thoughtfully. "From pulp to train wreck... better than nothing."
Saul glanced at Abel when she mentioned male bonding and just shook his head again. He scrubbed at his face with both his hands. "See you, Abel." He said.
He then turned onto his side and felt his ribs sink into the mattress. Saul felt so thin he could feel his shoulder blades touching. He focused his sad eyes on Lilith's back.
"Nothing." He said hoarsely. "Just needed to talk. He's alright now... Well, for as long as it lasts." He sighed softly into his pillow and appreciated the way sunlight came through his window and hit Lilith and the slight chill that came in. He furrowed his eyebrows and felt his heart clench.
"... You're really beautiful." He said suddenly, clearly and unmistakably. He didn't know what possessed him to say it. Maybe it had been the talk with Abel that pushed him to do it and the way he made him feel so right, but whatever it was it left him slightly winded and light. "I thought I should let you know." He mumbled.
((hahaha, I dunno. Saul wanted to say it. LOLOL.))

((Hahaha I loved Little Miss Sunshine. I pretty much thought the van was the best thing in the world. xD It reminds me of my mom's van...hahaha.
But oh my gosh. Team America is even funnier. xD It was so politically incorrect it was HILARIOUS. hahahahaha. Oh god. It was great. Their theme song went like AMERICA! ******** YEAH! over and over. Ahhhh...yes...and Kim Jong Il was so ronrey. xD))
Gabriel took a drink of his beer, finishing off the rest of it and looked back over to Alice and Talen. As Alice grabbed his hand he looked her in the eyes. He seemed hesitant as he studied the two of them. "Even if I give him more time, it's ultimately in the council's hand." Closing his eyes he took a deep breath and sat silently for a few minutes, trying to think things over.
"I can buy him a few days..." He said and opened his eyes. "I can buy him a few days while I try to convince the council he should stay with you two. But you have to understand something. Abel will be the way he is forever. And that means he won't be aging, won't be growing any taller. Of course there are ways we can mask ourselves and make people see us as someone else, but only for so long. In the end, this means he won't be staying forever. There will come a time when he's done his job and he'll have to leave before people suspect anything." His face grew serious as he watched them. "You need to keep this in the back of your minds. No matter how much he learns, how much he does, his time here will come to an end."
((SAD FACE. :< ))
Abel walked out of the hospital, gently touching the wound on his side. His talk with Saul made him even more grounded on staying. He had to stay, if only for his friends. They needed help, all of them, even Lilith he felt had some hard scars to mend. He needed time to figure out how to help them, and that time wasn't to be spent in heaven, he needed to spend it here.
When he got outside he felt even more determined. His heart grew a bit stronger and he started back to Talen's house, thoughts running through his mind as he tried to figure out how to convince everyone to let him stay.
((SERIOUS FACE. >:[ ))
Lilith turned around and looked to Saul. "I guess even innocent guys like him have their problems. Life does some pretty messed up things to us." She muttered and crossed her arms over her chest. When Saul furrowed his eyebrows she gave him a look that was either concern or frustration. "What's wrong?"
When his next words came out she stood in silence, eyes unreadable. She wasn't sure what she was supposed to say to him. She walked over to a chair and sat down. "Yeah." Was what came from her lips, though it seemed shaky. "I would say thank you, but I'm not sure you understood what you said. Pain killers are probably making you stupider than you usually are." She tilted her head and watched him, still trying to decipher his words and trying to figure what to say.
"Are you feeling any better?"
((UNSURE FACE. neutral

((Hahaha, best post EVER.... with all the FACES XD... and I haff no idea what Team America is *laughs*... the fact you said ronrey cracked me up.... just FYI.))
Alice looked at Gabriel firmly. "You don't think I don't know that?" She asked of him. "Just for a little longer... I feel like he needs to be here."
Talen nodded. "We'll have to let him go... we know that, but for now he's with us. He's like family."
Alice nodded slowly and then smiled gratefully at Gabriel. "Thank you." She added and squeezed his hand. "He's not such an a*****e is he, Talen?"
Talen looked to the angel grudgingly. "Maybe not." He admitted. "But don't get too attached... HE'LL have to leave too." He said sarcastically.
Alice laughed and then smacked her brother.
"OW."
((HAHA. WTF.))
Saul watched her as she took a seat close to his bed. He smiled as she agreed, somehow shakily. He'd never heard her sound like that before.
"I said..." He searched her face. "You're beautiful. That's just what I meant." He laughed. "I don't think it's pain killers. I think it's you."
He was quiet for a moment at her question. "Yeah..." He said breathlessly. "but that's you again, not the pain killers." Slowly and thoughtfully he reached out with a hand and gently grabbed one of hers. He paused, grey eyes closed. His mouth was thin and contemplative. "Yeah. It's you."

((Hahaha. I'm glad it pleased you. Anyways, you should watch it. IT'S ALL PUPPETS. Really well done puppets though. Really. And it's so hilarious. Haha...and he does say ronrey...since asians can't say l's. xD ))
Gabriel smiled slightly and tilted his head. "Hans and I did too. But we aren't the ultimate deciders. But I really do think he can gain a lot from being here. He hasn't seen life...real life before. I think for him, seeing that people can actually be decent will make a big change."
When Talen slid in his sly remark, Gabriel gave the kid a little grin and laughed. "Well of course I do. But I'm always checking up on Abel, so don't think you can get away with anything." He raised a brow and then looked up when he heard the slightest of footsteps.
"I think our boy's returned." He said calmly and just then the front door opened.
Abel silently came in, quickly taking off his shoes and putting them by the door, carefully making sure he hadn't tracked dirt in. The pain in his side was burning like flames from his run home and he felt a bit dizzy. Slowly he closed the door and then moved to the doorway in the kitchen, standing there looking unsure.
"You okay, Abel?" Gabriel ventured, noticing the slightly of winces when the boy tried to stand straight. He got up and moved over to Abel who took a step back and nodded, lowering his head. "No you aren't. You need to get that bandaged up. It could get infected."
"I don't-"
"Sit down, Abel." Gabriel said sternly and the boy slid into a sit furthest away. "Alice...where is the first aid stuff?"
((PAINED FACE. : ))
Lilith blinked when Saul continued to talk. She looked away and furrowed her brows. "It's the pain killers." She said sharply. When Saul took her hand she instantly tensed and looked back at him, eyes flashing briefly. She felt herself warm up slightly and her cheeks darken.
"You look too much into people's actions, Saul" She carefully withdrew her hand and used it to tuck some hair behind her ear. "I haven't done anything to make you better, in fact, my mere presence should make you worse." She stared at the wall again and licked her lips. "Is there anything you need before I go? Food, water, drugs?" At her last word she slid him a look that meant she was joking, but still hard to read.

also; ABEL!!! <33333
I just wanna dress him up and take care of him FOREVER.... hahaha, I'm sorry. That kinda just came out.))
When Gabriel said that Abel had come back Talen turned around Alice turning with him. They both broke into relieved smiles. Alice's smile fell a little at the look of him. She quickly nodded at the request for first aid kit.
"Hold on." She said firmly and rushed off to fetch it.
Talen stood from his chair, sat down, and then stood again. "Hey." He said smiling. "Now you look like the train wreck." He half joked, eyes worried. He moved slowly towards him and knelt beside him. "I'm sorry." He said, not knowing quite what he was saying sorry for, but that he needed to say it.
Alice rushed back in moments later with a first aid kit in hand. "Move away, Talen." She fanned him away with her hands and sat beside Abel. She popped open the kit knowing her way around it better than most people. "Your shirt." Alice said. "Lose it."
((SHE MEANS BUSINESS D:<))
Saul let her hand go when she pulled it from him. "Maybe." He said watching her face turn a subtle red. "And probably... but you don't." He said softly.
He gave a flickering smile at her joke. "No... no. I think I'm good. Maybe when I'm out of here." He fixed his light eyes on her face again and pressed his lips together. "Well, maybe..." And shifted a little, the bed creaking underneath him. Slowly he got himself to sit up and cautiously he reached out with a hand to touch her face.
"I probably won't get a chance like this again so don't hold it against me." And he kissed her lightly.
When he was done he laid back down and smiled. "With your brother around, that's the only time I'd be able to." He seemed somber again, but it didn't quite reach his eyes which were bright and to the window. "Sorry if it sucked." He said smiling, and there was that honest smile again, not the one that was sad at the corners.
((LOL... I think he likes Cain beating the crud out of him.))

((Ahaha you SLACKER. xD Homework comes first.))
Abel sighed a bit as everyone got up. He turned his eyes to the side and noticed some dust collecting on the floor that led towards the back door. His brows shifted together slightly as he stared at it. But he was quickly distracted when Talen stood up and walked towards him. His blue eyes looked up and he smiled a bit. "I don't look that bad...do I?" He asked with the same half joke as Talen.
When the other boy knelt down, Abel looked away. "Sorry? For what? You never did anything to me to feel sorry for." He said quietly, still smiling that half empty smile.
Gabriel sat down across from Abel and studied the boy as Alice came in with the first aid kit. "Abel..." Before he could say something Alice was moving Talen away and telling Abel to lose his shirt.
Abel flinched slightly at the notion to take of his shirt. He looked to Gabriel who nodded. "I'm really fine...It's nothing that won't heal on its own. And I really don't mind the pain. Really no need to-"
"Abel. Stop it." Gabriel narrowed his eyes and Abel stopped. His smile faltered and he closed his eyes, nodding. "Thank you."
He fingered the hem of his shirt nervously, and lifted it up, pulling it over his head and instantly feeling exposed, cold, and uncomfortable. He balled the shirt in his hands and looked at them, not wanting to see anyone's face. "I should be fine. You really don't need to worry about it." He felt obligated to say, smile still faint on his lips.
((Haha. Abel feels EXPOSED. EXPOSED FACE. :[ ))
Lilith shook her head and rolled her eyes. "You should learn when to stop talking. That voice of yours is kind of making my ears hu-" She was stopped when he placed a hand on her face, which twisted in confusion. Her green eyes narrowed and she was about to push his hand away when he spoke. "What do you think you-" This time she was stopped by his lips.
As he laid back down, Lilith stared at the place he had once been. For a moment her heart had stopped and her blood fired up. It was quiet except for the sound of Saul's scratchy voice and the noises outside. What was she supposed to do? She didn't know. Not once had she even imagined being kissed, not once, much less by Saul, who would be dead if her brother ever found out.
She put a hand to her lips and snapped at of her daze, looking to him and trying to do something to prove she hadn't died. "I..." She swallowed and lowered her hand, looking angry finally. "I can't stand you." She snapped and her eyes flashed. "Do you understand what you're doing? There's a reason you're in the hospital! Damn it, Saul!" She stood up and breathed out. "I'm not the person you want to be doing this with. You don't want to fall for me. I'm bad news. REALLY bad news, Saul."
She walked over to the window and leaned towards it. "You can't be like that. You just can't."

((BEFORE BED POST D:< ))
Alice watched the brief exchange between Gabriel and Abel and smiled at Gabriel when he got Abel to comply. "I promise I won't look at anything I'm not supposed to." She assured him. "Just act like I'm a guy."
"Not too hard, huh?" Talen asked of his sister.
She gave him a look, but all joking ceased when they found what was ailing Abel. Alice, a nurse, put a hand to her mouth. Perhaps it was more he was hiding such an injury more than the actual injury itself. Talen put a hand to his side and stared at the wound with distant eyes.
"Abel." She said. "What on earth... why would you hide something like that from me?!" And she quickly got to work not waiting for an answer. "I'm more mad about the FACT you have it than where you got it!"
Talen was still staring, his hand still unconsciously at his side. "I'm sorry." He said, and now he knew exactly why.
"What? Did you do this to him?" Alice asked as she cleaned him up gently.
"More or less." He put his hands to his head. "I'm an idiot... Abel. You're officially not allowed to do what you did to me EVER AGAIN."
Alice looked to Abel, confused, but took no time to pause and continued to fix him up. "It sounds like you guys have a lot to tell me about."
((YAAAAY....ay.... MAD SISTER FACE >:C SHE IS DISAPPOINTED IN ALL OF YOU.))
Saul, in Lilith's silence, finally looked away from the window back to her face. He furrowed his eyebrows. "Lilith...?" He moved forward a bit, but moved away again as she finally figured out what expression she should wear: an angry one.
"Can't stand me? Not surprised." He said. And why should she? He was scum and he knew it. Saul rolled over and pressed his face into his pillows. He breathed out softly. "But I don't think you really think that." It didn't stop those words from hurting him and somehow they hurt deeper than Cain ever hurt him.
"I won't do it again." He said. "But I know what I did. And honestly? I'd probably do it again if you gave me the chance. I guess getting the s**t kicked out of you once isn't enough to scare me away from you." And he breathed softly again into his pillows and smiled just ever so slightly. "I guess I either have a death wish or nothing left to live for, but for some reasons... I fell for you. Take your pick."

((After school post? Haha.))
Abel laughed a bit at Alice's comment. "It'd be hard to imagine that..." he trailed off when he sensed Alice's mood change to concern, more than before. Abel looked away and licked his lips nervously, fingers moving to his hair as he played with it a bit.
"I wasn't hiding it...I just didn't think it was that big of a concern. It would heal on its own." He caught the looked Gabriel was giving him and he lowered his eyes, tilting his head a bit. His eyes hardened when Talen said he was sorry.
"Stop saying that. It's not your fault." He said quietly and then gasped when Alice began to clean it up. "Ahhhh...that..." He was about to pull away when Gabriel put himself next to Abel and wrapped an arm around the boy's shoulder. Abel instinctively pulled away from him and instead pulled towards Alice, the one who was touching his wound. His mouth opened but then he closed it, wincing as Alice went through the process.
"I don't mind. I did it for a reason...I don't have to worry about that stuff, you do. So I'd rather have you worry about your own body and not mine. I'm already de-" He stopped when he caught a frustrated glare from Gabriel. "It's true..."
"Don't talk like that."
"But it's true."
"Just because it's true doesn't make it right, Abel." Gabriel said strictly and the boy turned his head away from Gabriel, looking at Talen's feet. He didn't understand why Gabriel always had to act so forceful.
"I just think tha-"
"Just shut up, Abel." Gabriel demanded. Abel shut his mouth tightly and furrowed his brows. "Thank you."
((Hahaha. Gabriel's so bossy! D: ))
Lilith put her hands to the wall, pressing her forehead against the window as Saul continued to talk. She turned around, anger and frustration written on her face and a faint ring of red around her iris. She stared him down as he spoke and she walked to his bed, looked down at him. If it had been anyone who didn't know her they'd have been scared...if it were Saul, they'd have been scared even more.
"You need to start worrying about yourself. The next time this," she motioned to his wounded body, "happens you could be dead. If Abel and Talen hadn't come around you might had DIED, and we wouldn't be here talking about this right now. I highly doubt Cain would have stopped." She paused and took a deep breath, closing her eyes and settling herself down.
Without a second thought she leaned over and pressed her lips against his. She stayed there for a few second and tilted her head back, eyes closed as if trying to figure out if it was good or not. Slowly she sat down on the side of his bed and leaned in again.

((AFTER DINNER POST.))
Talen frowned at Abel. "It WAS my fault." He insisted. "You get to apologize to me ALL the time, so let me have this." He said, smiling a little. "Geez. It's like... what are you some kind of masochist?"
"Don't tease him, Talen... I'm trying to wrap him up here." She worked to attach a bandage over his wound. "These are just little bruises... if they hurt, let me know and I can give you something for it." She smiled at Gabriel thankfully when she assisted him. "I guess that makes you the nurse." She said and then she laughed.
"Tough love." Talen said to Abel and wrinkled his nose. "Guy's an a*****e." He said to Abel with a joking grin.
Once Alice had him all wrapped up she smoothed his hair out around his face like a doting mother and hugged him gently around his neck. "I'm glad you're alright." She whispered.
Talen sat back and grinned. "Tough guy. Taking his pain like a man." He wiped at an eye. "My little Abel is all grown up... and... picking fights!" He sniffed falsely.
"What?" Alice said.
"Well, not him." Talen touched his chest. "I did."
"With who."
"Cain."
"CAIN?!"
"Cain." And he looked at his sister from lowered eyelids and furrowed his eyebrows.
Alice seemed to cool off. "Why?"
"I had to." Is all he would say and that seemed to be enough for Alice, though she'd bother him about it later, not now. "Either way... it's all because I let him... well I thought... he thought he healed me. Turns out it's not so great."
Alice looked Abel in the eyes and smoothed out his hair one more time. She said everything she needed to say with her hurt expression and that single movement.
((OKAY... LOLOL NESSA. Saul isn't like Seth though... he's more of a pansy... and isn't like... incredibly horny, I guess. *laughs*))
When Lilith bore down on him, of course he felt an edge of fear. He felt his hands go cold, and his already dry mouth turned his tongue to sand, but somehow he managed to meet her gaze. His stomach clenched and he had to stifle a shiver, his purpled fingers gripped tightly at his sterile bedding. His eyes were as grey and as somber as ever, but maybe they seemed more alive, like he found something worth looking at, or something worth feeling for.
"I'm sure glad he didn't kill me." He managed to choke out, his voice shook and he hated himself for sounding so scared. "And what's left to worry about?" He wanted to know. "There isn't much of me left to take care of." And he wanted to go and on and on about why he should never begin to care what happened to him and all the reasons he should have just died several times earlier in his life when Lilith shut him up firmly.
At first he stared, but when she left and came back his hands found her face again and he pulled her solidly to his lips.
He never felt like he needed anyone quite as much as he needed her at that moment.
((And I DON'T WANT TO INVOVLE CAIN YET. TOO MUCH DRAMA IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. Sooon... later D:< Ooooohoohoo yes. > biggrin and it'll be lots of fun. FO' SHO'. Hhaha.
BUT HERE BEFORE SAUL GETS HANDSY smile )
There was an irritated and loud sigh from the doorway. "I'd rather appreciate it if you didn't arouse any of my patients, Miss Lilith." A nurse said from the door, a hand on her cocked out hip.
Saul turned his pale face to the nurse over his shoulder and instantly red flooded his face. He was blushing from his ears to his neck.
"I brought your meds... but it seems like I should have brought a hose too."
((loool... the end XD *is so lame*))

((AFTER FACEBOOK POST.
Hahahaha...ahhhh))
Abel grinned slightly at Talen's comment. "Okay. And I'm not a masochist..." He said and glanced to Gabriel who was smirking to himself.
"I can handle being a nurse. Nurses get all the fun stuff anyways. I wouldn't want to be a doctor, you don't get to be nice to your patients too often." He laughed and Abel nodded a bit as if he completely understood...but didn't really.
As Alice hugged him, Abel blinked a bit surprised by her hug and he looked to the side slightly, pink in his cheeks. "Thank you..." He whispered ever so quietly before Alice and Talen were talking about Cain. Abel noticably tensed up and he furrowed his brows.
Gabriel studied the group as they spoke and he sighed softly.
"I still would have done it even if I knew what it would do. I couldn't let you going around beaten up as bad as you were. I had to make the pain a little better. I'm fine with the physical stuff...and one little bruise isn't as bad as you have." Abel declared with a smile as if everything he said was the absolute right thing in the world. He then got up off the chair, wincing as he did.
Gabriel was instantly on his feet. "What are you doing?"
"Ummm...that's bothering me." He pointed to the dust near the rug and Gabriel stared at it. "It's...making me...ummmm..." He stuck out the tip of his tongue, eyes focused on it.
"We can do it."
"No...no...I can. I know how to do it correctly." He nodded and started to move before Gabriel blocked him and pushed him back into his seat. "I'll do it right. If you don't get rid of dust it could cause allergies." At Gabriel's look, he shrunk back slightly and drew his eyes away from the dust. "And allergies are not good...dust is not something you want in your body...and..." he trailed off and lowered his head, rubbing at his temples for a minute. "Okay...you can do it...just use a wet towel afterward. It gets it all up."
((HAHAHA you're so weird, Abel. OCD freak. D: Dust IS an allergy destroyer though! Even if I have dust EVERYWHERE in my room...))
Lilith pulled away as the nurse came in, eyes bright red when she quickly turned her head and took a breath, making sure the nurse didn't see. They dimmed back to green and she gazed at the nurse with that placid, incoherent look. "I should probably get going." She said fluidly and stood up.
She started to walk away and after a second thought, placed a cell phone by Saul's bed. "My number is the only one in the address book. I thought this would come in handy. In case you need to call 911, or you know...someone to kick people's asses." She gave him the littlest of smirks, which was a full blown grin in Lilith's dictionary. "I'll be back later." She then disappeared out of the room.
((SHOWER TIME. *does that weird Hammer dance and then skips to her shower*))

((I LIVE.
Post D: ))
Alice and Talen both stared at him blankly at his ever so correct remark.
"Talen is a BLOCK HEAD. Limping around for a week or so would have probably done him some good!"
"It really didn't hurt that bad!"
"I think HE LIKES being beat up!"
"Kinda like how you like putting everyone elses needs before you!"
"Like an addiction."
"Like... BLOCK head?"
Alice shrugged at her brother. "Stupid? Idiot? Numbskull? s**t for brains? Take your pick, but it all describes you."
Talen punched her lightly. "I REALLY would have been fine... if I had known... you're never doing it again." He decided then and there and wouldn't hear any arguments against it.
Both siblings stood up as Abel stood up.
"What ARE you doing?" Talen echoed Alice beside him, hands on her hips.
When he pointed to just what he was going to do they exchanged looks and laughed and then laughed harder at Gabriel's reaction. "I'll get it, Abel." And she trotted off to get the spot of dust, towel wet from the sink in hand.
Talen shook his head at his friend. "You're crazy, you know that? I mean... I'M crazy... but when I'm down I stay down... and Abel? You're down."
((hahaha, he's crazy... and my " button is like not working very well... it's really annoying.))
The nurse nodded and seemed to agree. "You probably should."
Saul was rubbing at his head, mussing up his already messy head of hair. The nurse seemed amused by his embarrassment. When Lilith had gone Saul was staring at the phone with a mixture of pleasure and shock. He was not aware that he was smiling, or that the nurse might have even still been there.
"Yeah." The nurse said as she placed Saul's cup of meds by his bedside table. "I'm shocked too. She's too pretty for you."
Saul looked to the nurse and then laughed. "Yeah. Yeah she is."
"Maybe you should clean up or something." The nurse suggested and gave him a kind wink before leaving.
Saul laid back on his pillows and stared at the ceiling, still grinning.
