Moé shook her head. "Only one person can see him at a time. A-And I don't like going to places alone..."

"...Are you suggesting I see him myself?" Caleb questioned, unsure if that was what he wanted to happen.

Moé and Ann shrugged. "Why not?", they said in unison. Why not?, the Muse communicated to Caleb's mind.

Ann shrugged. "I've never been there. Will you be... okay?"

"...I believe so." Caleb said. "How would one get to this alter...dimension?"

Ann opened a portal. "He lives in there." She shivered. "Man, you have guts. Kokopelli once went to see him, but the place freaked him out so much he didn't even get to see the Muse in person."

Several hours had passed and the house had finally quieted. Lelune went to his bed and slept peacefully and without dreams. His companion watched at the window for a time before she went her own way.

The parallel universe was what appeared to be an upside down home. Nothing fell down, it simply seemed that Caleb was walking on the ceiling. A series of puppets made of wood and clockwork paddled around the house, cleaning, and on a large wall, one could see what appeared to be a family tree, except with animals. the illustrations resembled the kind in the book, and the most recent drawing appeared to be the crane, whose paint looked somewhat wet.

Caleb walked to the painting on the wall. Looking at the crane and the spaniel. Caleb mask pointed up, to notice there was oddly, furniture and carpet on the ceiling.

The scene suddenly flipped to a series of blocks in a blackness. The floor, walls, and ceiling were meshed together and indistuinguishable, with a white humanoid etching moving in the void.

Caleb froze as he watched the everything weave together. A terrible chilling feeling went down his spine. His hands and body tingled as his skin goosebumped.

An entirely new and odd monotonic, deep voice pierced his mind. There are few things I'm serious about, and this is one of those things. The Muse lives here, and you were inside of his house a second ago, but some outside force pulled you outside. Also, don't let faces of people you know here deceive you; this place is bitter and hostile. Don't let The Big Bad Wolf touch you. And, for the love of God, do not fall asleep.

Caleb felt the bile rise in his throat as his hands went cold. Unsure what to do he stayed still. How may I leave then?
