SRHS 2011 Flowing Wells CompetitionThis was today. We got an excellent and all captions except percussion(for obvious pit related problems. Only two of our pit members have ever played percussion before...) Our show is Beethoven, by the way. This video consists of Beethovens 5th, Fur Elise, and Pathetique Sonata. Between Fur Elise and Pathetique teh pit attempts to play Scherzo, which we had to cut the fuill thing due to time constraints(seasonwise, not competition wise. Too short of a season to master such a difficult song)

LHS- Southern Dawn 2011We did this show based off of To Kill A Mockingbird and basically, Southern America. Yesterday, we claimed class 3A class champions and 11th in finals. The feeling of our shohw from marching it is very amazing.

This was my first show I've ever done which was called 'All Aboard" You can guess what it was about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iwv2buunlg4And this was this years show called "Heart of the Matador" which was Latin American themed but there is no video up yet for it.

nellmonster Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" was the name of our show. I'm from Lancaster, we were on the field with your school for retreat! :]

iMarimba Oh my goodness! I remember watching that. The band went up to the concession stands after the group picture. I loved the head tilting at the beginning. :]

nellmonster Yeah :] it was a pretty great show. We all thought we wouldn't place very high though...haha we stood next to Huntington at retreat and I think they thought we were crazy cause we were all crying and cheering on the field! xD I wish our band coulda seen the LS3 ones at the Dome, I would've loved to have seen more!

iMarimba It was amazing, Arlington made a perfect star. The marching band I'm in, we are all Arlington wannabes xD and Arlington only got second.

nellmonster Hahahaha awhhhh. I never saw Arlington's show. I think I saw West Seneca's, I watched yours on YouTube...haha everyone did great this year!!! :] This is my first year in MB. I wish I saw last years shows, and the year before that and so on lol.I love marching band, soooooooo much!

nellmonster ROOKIEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Jkjk. :] This is my fourth year. It's so great. The shows last year were awesome, too! And the year before for my school was quite bas, but everyone else was good. xD Lol.
