I'm so frustrated about my weight. Normally, if I walk a good 3 miles and don't overeat, I drop a pound by the end of the day. But today I went from 117.5 to 118.5, and tomorrow I'll be 117.5. Maybe it'll be less, though, because I ate less than 1000 calories and I walked a lot and I plan to go to sleep early. But it's still really frustrating to feel like you're doing good and then weigh yourself and find that there's no change and it's like argh, I wish I could lose weight faster! *asplodes*

It is really really odd that you would be able to lose a pound of pure fat everyday. If you're eating less than 1000 calories you seem to be on a starvation diet and all you're losing is mainly muscle with probably a little fat. Make sure you eat good foods in enough quantity for calorie burn!
I'm a little person, so in theory I should eat less than other people to lose weight. Lately that hasn't been happening because I've been binging all week. I definitely haven't been starving myself.

Ok, I've been eating way more than usual. I've been eating in the right combinations, just more. Ugh, and I feel like I've put on weight. I've been sticking with it, and I hope I didn't gain! I'm afraid to weigh myself.

... Maybe it's because of my period, and that's why I feel like I've gained (my parents told me they didn't notice a change) but I just feel disgusting. It's because there's never the right food in the house.

Today was super bad. I binged. Argh. I hope tomorrow I can control myself.

Are you a "little person" meaning that you're kind of short and very small-boned, or are you a "little person" meaning someone with a form of dwarfism? If it's the latter, you definitely want to be speaking to your doctor and making a very clearly detailed nutrition plan, because those with dwarfism simply have different body types to those of average height. Your muscles will bulge in different places, not because you're fat, but because that's just how your muscles are shaped. You need to make really sure that you're not trying to lose weight in order to stop looking like a dwarf. Dwarfism does NOT make you fat, or unattractive. Make really sure that you actually do have FAT that you need to lose -- and if your doctor says that you don't, learn to embrace and appreciate your own body type, because you are already beautiful. Different is lovely.

No, don't do that! Never, ever let your weight stop you from doing anything. Your prom date asked you to prom before you lost any weight, and will still be proud to take you whether you've lost, gained, or maintained. He's just glad to get to go with you. If you avoid him, he might think you don't like him, rather than that you're self-conscious about yourself.

I'll let you in on a secret. If you don't tell anyone you're fat, they probably won't care. If you can be happy, friendly (in as boisterous or quiet a way as you wish), and a kind person who enjoys having fun and talking to others to get to know them, that's all people will care about. I've been a little bit fleshy for most of my life, and at one point was actually 100 pounds overweight, yet no one I know thinks of me as "the fat girl." They think of me as the redhead, or the Jewish girl, or the one who's got a great singing voice, or the one who's fun to go shopping with. It's because I don't focus on my weight, but on the fun I have when I'm with them. In fact, I've never lacked for friends OR romance in my life, and sometimes have even had more would-be suitors than I could deal with. My personality overcomes my little bit of remaining bulge. People see ME, not my fat.

On the other hand, if you talk about "I'm so fat," or "I shouldn't eat that if I don't want to be fat forever," or "I look so bad today, I gained two pounds," people WILL think of you as fat. Even if you're not. My younger sister was thin all her life, but she thought she was fat, and other people started to treat her as if they thought so, too. Her friends look at her lunches and say, "Are you going to eat all that?" and try to be 'helpful' as she tries to lose weight, not realizing that they're just reinforcing my sister's own low self-image. Please don't do this to yourself.
