Zelgadis shakes his head quickly at Shido's first reply, then slowly shoves the hood of his cloak off his head, leaving the mask up as he turns and looks Shido in the eyes. "No. More like using my strongest holy spell on him and causing him some permanent damage." He murmurs, tail flicking behind him. He couldn't help it if he was overly sensitive to what others said about him. He'd always been that way. It wasn't like he could just change personalities at the drop of a hat, after all.
Mull, bored now that his 'fun' was out of the room, flops on his back on the bed, arms curled under his head like a pillow. Scowling up at the ceiling above, he slowly drifts back off to sleep.

"Maybe it would teach him a lesson, though it's hard to say whether the initial pain would make him overlook it." Shido frowned and looked away with a little sigh, pondering the situation. If they were going to continue to deal with Mull, they would need to be extremely careful whenever the demon hybrid fell asleep. There would be no telling which personality took control next. He glanced back at Zel and nodded. "What will you do now?"

Zelgadis blinks at Shido, then shakes his head. "No, it wouldn't teach him a lesson. One of the scars on his left leg is from a Ra Tilt." He thinks for a moment, then gives a small shrug. "I think I'll head back home and wait for my mate. I'll most likely be back to check on him, but it won't be for a few days."

Shido shrugged. Mull actually sounded a lot like a certain demon that lived at the Nullspace that people had to 'deal' with. It's a shame that that is the extent to which a relationship should develop. "Then I suppose we'll have to hold down the fort until then." Even as he said that however, he was not really sure what Asher had in mind to do.

Zelgadis looks over at Shido for a moment, stony eyebrow arching slightly. "Or you two could just leave him to fend for himself. If that's what Asher wants to do, I'm fine with it. Might make him be a bit more... friendly... towards those taking care of him, rather than an a*****e."

"If you told Asher that could make Mull change his ways he might laugh at you, especially knowing the way Mull treats you." The unicorn chuckled. "Though if it would work, I don't see him complaining too loudly about it."

Zelgadis blinks at that, then shrugs slightly. "I don't care if he laughs at me for the idea. Wouldn't be the first time and certainly won't be the last time it's happened." He frowns again, pulling his cloak closer around himself before turning and walking back to where he thought Asher would be.
Mull grunts slightly in pain and opens his eyes, looking around slowly, wondering where everyone had gone. He, of course, hadn't known that his darker side had taken over earlier, so thought he'd been abandoned, which wasn't far from the truth. He sighs, pulling himself to a sitting position and glaring at the covers in front of him. "Should have just kept my damn mouth shut..." He mutters to himself, not caring if he was heard or not. "s**t... By all logic, I should have been killed from the force of Aion's attack... But I wasn't... Why? I don't deserve to live. I'm a menace to myself and everyone around me."

Faintly puzzled by Zelgadis' reply, Shido did not comment but rather let him go. Instead he followed a voice faintly echoing from the other room. "Sounds to me like you were meant to live," came the unicorn's reply as he stepped into Mull's room. "If you want to find out why, maybe you should look past whether or not you think you deserve to."
Asher had remained on the balcony, vaguely surprised that the angry voices had died down instead of continuing as before. Perhaps Shido had calmed everyone down, somehow. Or perhaps Zel and Mull were slowly throttling one another to death, he considered wryly. No, the unicorn would have somehow prevented that, either by himself or after calling Asher to aid him. After several moments he could hear the chimaera's movements through the 'house,' presumably looking for something (or someone, or a few moments alone to cool off...). He turned to face the approaching footsteps.

Zelgadis glances at Asher as the other turns around, then coughs slightly. "I wanted to suggest something before I left. I think that everyone leaving him to fend for himself for a bit would make him a bit more appreciative of those around him. I don't care if you laugh at me for the idea. That's what I'm doing right now, leaving." He then turns without another word and slowly starts walking back the way he came. If Asher still wanted to talk to him, he'd have to chase after the chimera, which Zel doubted the other would do.
Mull glances up at Shido's voice, then sighs again. "Kinda hard for me to figure out why exactly I am still alive... And I'm not quite sure how to look past whether I deserve to or not."

The coon's silvery eyes narrowed as he listened to Zel's suggestion. Would Mull do even more damage to himself if left alone? Probably. Would he like it. Yes. So the real issue was really, did he value the presence of others enough for it to make a difference?
"Seeing the world from another's point of view takes practice. Everyone has different values and attachments, as well as aversions. And who knows," he drawled, smirking, "maybe it was an accident." He doubted that very much.
His ears flicked lightly as he heard another's footsteps approaching. Zelgadis. Not long after, Asher appeared in the doorway.
The other vampire glanced inside. It was almost immediately evident that the Mull in the bed before them was the gentler version. He was more difficult to be harsh with.
"What's goin' on?"
"We are leaving."

Zelgadis continues out the front door, closing it behind him and heading for his and Xellos' home.
Mull's eyes widen slightly at Asher's statement, then he sighs and looks down at his hands in his lap. "I... don't blame you for leaving..." He says in a soft voice. "I'd leave too if I had to deal with something like me." He keeps his crimson eyes focused on the covers just in front of him, not wanting to meet either vampire's gaze. They had made up their minds, and he wasn't going to allow his own insecurities to force them to stay.

"What's this about? What happened to staying all night?"
"He can take care of himself for a few days." Asher nodded slightly to Mull. "You have healed visibly since we arrived earlier. I'm sure next time you need to use the toilet you will be able to crawl just fine. Or did you want me to watch?"
Shido frowned but remained silent, curious as to what Asher was playing at.

Mull flinches slightly at Asher's words, ears plastering against his head at the reminder of his bathroom exploits earlier. "I won't object to help next time, if that's what you're getting at, but, since you seem to want to leave, I'm not going to suggest you stay." He still doesn't raise his eyes from where they are focused on the cover in front of him, his hands clenching slightly in the material. "Might be better if you did go, that way he wouldn't have any reason to take over while I slept again." He murmurs, ears barely visible above his hair now.

This bathroom discussion was not something Shido wanted to hear or have any part of. He sighed and shrugged, slipping past Asher. "Er, I think I'll wait outside."
The coon did not reply to the unicorn, only smirking faintly. He glanced back at Mull. "Actually, I think that very stubbornness is helping to keep him at bay. Perhaps if there is no one around to pamper you, you will develop a backbone with which to guard yourself."

Mull snorts slightly at that. "Stubbornness doesn't work if I'm dead asleep." He lays back down and curls up on his side, his back to the door, ignoring the pain his ribs voiced at the position. "If you're gonna go, then just go." He murmurs, voice emotionless as he closes his eyes, not to sleep, just to keep from looking at the other.
