The Kohr Zegura The Kohr Zegura The Kohr The Kohr "Sorry Belial! I guess you didn't get the memo pal! Here I'll send you a copy or four!" Reaper yelled in position above them all on the wall. He was fully ready to tack his shot. He grinned at Belial before he took his shot and it tarted to rain . The rain began to pour down seemingly from nowhere. "Seriously Izzy, always the dramatic touch" He squeezed the trigger and the rocket was set loose in a path that would strike even the ground behind Belial if he dodged the rocket. "Merry Christmas Dr. Carlye!" Reaper laughed firing another rocket as the sky light up with lightning and the sound of thunder. "Sovereign save the girl!" The woman in white yelled to him witnessing the rockets whipping through the air. Sovereign had barely gotten off the ground from dodging the girls first swing he flew as fast as he could attempting to get his body in the way. Belial looked at the oncoming rockets, agony and rage seeped into his expression. "Idiots!"He grabbed the girl and threw her out of the blast radius, the rockets drawing ever closer. 'You're endangering people...'He pointed at a rocket, it vanished from sight, but the second was still coming, and it hit him. Hard. The rocket's explosion was hot and furious, its flames whipped against the pouring rain. Sovereign had caught the unknown woman and shielded them both with his large cape he crashed into the ground a distance from the blast zone. be ok be ok Sovereign hoped in his mind still shielding both of them while the fire's raged. "Dr. Carlyle? What happened to you? I thought I would feel better fighting you, but even now I just don't know.... May you find peace on the otherside." Reaper said lowering the launcher down a little. "Eh! this really got out of hand... He looked around from his perched position...I'm not taking the fall for this one." Belial screamed in agony as his body materialised, wreathed in flames. "REEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAPEEEEEEER!" He cackled manically, his form twisting through the rubble. He appeared from the rubble, his face was a wreck, his left arm hung limp from his side, and his right hand was missing entirely. "You...you...Ahah." He panted, tears racing down his face. He looked at where his hand ought to be, shock on his face, his lips cracking open oddly. "Ahah....haha...hahahahaha...HAHAHAHAHAHA!" He laughed, leaning on a low wall beside him, sweat, blood and tears dripped from his face. He looked up at Reaper, his eyes locked on him, the same dark eyes that he met with his one year before. "You... cheeky son of a b***h..." He grinned. "Oh Doc, why? I'm sorry...." Reaper whispered as he ready the rocket launcher once more. He shifted his hands on the weapon and readied himself. "Why not just let it happen man? Why hold on so hard?" He slowly squeezed the trigger an launched another rocket towards Belial. Belial hobbled closer to Reaper, his lips playing a twisted grin. "This isn't over..."He began to laugh, and from his shadow emerged a figure clad in pitch black.
"Come, Belial.""Not over by far..."And with that, both Belial and the dark figure vanished, the rocket slamming into the ground harmlessly. Overhead, a violent humming was to be heard. Primer began his descent, approaching the street rapidly.

Ricky looked up and threw his arms in the air. "Aww great, one guy leaves and now that douchebag shows up!"
The pole girl flailed in her rescuer's arms. "Release me! I must find him! He cannot es...cape..." She looked as if she was losing conciousness.

"Idiots!"He grabbed the girl and threw her out of the blast radius, the rockets drawing ever closer. He stared at her and nodded.

It looked around, eyes flicking over the faces of the people nearby, finding one it could not recognize.

"Which. Of. You. Killed. Carlyle. Lazarus?"It looked around, eyes flicking over the faces of the people nearby, finding one it could not recognize. "Girl. Name. Unknown. Species. Unknown. Abilities. Unknown.""What. The. Hell. Is. Happening. Here?" The assassin huffed, folding his arms. Heatstroke walked over to Primer and put an arm around him all buddy like. "Well you see, it's like this. Your buddy Lazarus ran off in the face of my and Reaper's awesomeness. No need to thank us, just run off to whatever garbage can you spend your time in and let us clean up his little mess K?"

He looked back at gang of heroes and felt something inside him. Something stirred. "Oil. Leak..." He grunted, moving further away, hiding his joy at the defeat of Belial.

From who Roboto, this is a thankless job, and we still haven't won." Reaper said sliding down the wall and walking towards everyone. "We have nothing to be proud of, wait scratch that. Me a Heatstroke here should be proud. We did this professionally. While these individuals before you came in half cocked like a bunch of animals in a war." He pointed at Sovereign specifically. "What Reaper, you know that I saved you and you boy out there." Sovereign interrupted him looking down at the girl he saved. "Save me, I didn't need your help Sparky. You're destroying my town! And what ever it was that he aimed to steal in the first place is long gone-" Reaper was cut off this time by the woman in white. "Figures. You men stand around trivializing victory over thine enemies. You masked one, You were almost useless. But you still came through like the heroes of old. And for that I respect you. But unless you had not noticed now is not the time. Achilles is right, He got away and so did his master." She looked towards Sovereign and glanced at the woman. "Her spirit for battle moves me."

"I've got no clue what to do with her, Hotpants. But I do know that we only have a few leads to what was going on here, and we have to follow 'em." Reaper responded after relaxing about the whole event. The girl with the golden leg sudden sprang up in a lightning fast somersault and grabbed her pole. Then with a playful glance at the woman in white she jumped impossibly far to the empty street and began to run like a gazelle. "s**t!" Ricky shouted and shoved Victor in the car. Not waiting for him to buckle up, Ricky floored it in pursuit of the woman. Tessa stood with the white woman, the dead bot and the gorilla man and shrugged. "Looks like I'm walking back. Again."

When they re-appeared Belial vomited.
His eyes stung angrily, his body shook, blood was seeping from open wounds, and his broken bones had begun to cane.
"They're... so much... stronger..."
"They've a greater number, Belial."
Belial looked at Seraphael with disdain, his body shaking in agony.
"You... took your... ti... time..." He groaned, rising slowly.
"Lazarus..."
"WHAT?" Belial spat back, fuming, suddenly angrier than he'd ever been.
"You... I assume you're not aware..." Seraphael said, shifting slightly.
"Not aware of what?" He froze.
"Your cancer... it's spreading..." Seraphael said, looking Belial in the eyes for the first time, his gaunt face locked on the wrecked man.
"Spread... What's... the prog- prognosis?" Belial whispered, his head was swimming, his mind was racing.
"At this rate, you should be dead within a month..." Seraphael responded, "Maybe less..."
Belial slumped down on a low crate, tears racing down his face.
"I'm going... to die..." He sighed, choking between sobs.
"I can save you..."
"What must I do?" Belial said, cutting his master short.
"For now, rest and recover."
Belial nodded, watching as Seraphael turned away.
"I've got everything I need right now..." Seraphael smiled, holding the stolen crystal firmly in his hand, a wide smile stretched over his face.

Nova Blancke Zegura Nova Blancke Zegura Nova Blancke Zegura "I'm fourteen years of age!" The girl grinned, then she tugged on the officer's sleeve playfully.
"And how old are you, miss?" "Oh already a big girl huh? Ahhh I miss being that age. Don't have to worry about anything, people do things for you ahhh well. Anyway I'm already old" Morrigan said with a bit of a sigh and leaned closer to that child and whispered. "24"
"Hey, what's your name?" The girl asked, tugging at the officer's sleeve again."Helen" She replied" What's yours?" She asked as the arrived at the car.
The girl giggled.
"That's a nice name!"
"My name is Ashleigh!" She grinned, her childish features glowing."Why thank you" Morrigan said with a smile."I'd rather have your name though. It's alot better then mine." She opened to door for Ashleigh After she put Ashleigh in the back seat along with her suitcase. "Make sure you wear your seatbelt now honey" She said to Ashleigh with her caring voice. She got in the frontseat, buckled up, started up the engine, turned off the police radio and drove off.

Azrael was angry. Not only had he failed his mission, but he had lost the Gentleman and the boy as well. Had they not been there... Not worrying about what ifs, he tuned his radio and call back. "Seraphael, this is Azrael. The mayor is not terminated, the Gentleman intervened. Please advise."
Danny sat down roughly in a back alley several blocks from City Hall. The ugly hole in his chest finally started to close up albeit slowly. He turned to the Gentleman and gave a sigh. "So what was that about anyway?"
