Really? =o Yeah Living Dead Girl was my first attempt at doing all my own formatting and I'm embarrassed how.. bad it turned out.. the page length is probably pretty bad with inflation sweatdrop but I've figured out how it's supposed to be so Living Dead Girl and To Beat or Not to Beat are the only two with the very bad formatting.. I didn't know it actually got into physical bookstores.. I know though I was able to squeak in just before they changed things on Lulu on how the distribution packages are set up So thank you ^^; It makes me excited to hear that someone found one of my books and wanted to get it.. o course the buying would be more exciting but I'm used to not having that one happen xD; -sigh- oh well Thank you again..

-nod- I've noticed both short books and long books are very expensive.. But the medium sized books are better priced, the ones around 250 pages
Heh when I get the next 4 of the Drag Shergi Mysteries done I can publish their collection .. When I'm done I'll have the 13 book series, a 3 volume mini-collection, then the 1 complete collection ... I'm excited about that
As usual, they'll all be available on Lulu .. =o I'm gonna try to get the collections into the bookstores, but I dunno if I can afford the price for distribution sweatdrop

I probably just need to write and write, letting the ideas come until I get to the main part of the story .. then I'll really be writing with the pages flying by

Yay! You go girl! It's exciting to start something new! ^_^
And wow, 13 books series, that sounds so tiring. I think it is amazing that you were able to accomplish something like that. smile

Lol thank you ^^
And it is.. @.o I wrote the first book's draft back in Jan 2002 I didn't get to get back to it and flesh it out to publishing standards until April 2008 .. I've been working since then to try and finish the whole series
I finished my concurrent twin series just before that .. each series has 5 books in it ... then a OVA sorta thing with a 3 book volume after it
I'm not supposed to be writing series, but it seems to get the work out faster xD;;

Oh, a book signing! That sounds so exciting! biggrin You're so lucky to be able to have one... OMG that would give me a giddy thrill each time... But I guess it does take time away from actually writing. Finding time to write is hard for me, since family and friends are bothersome. And it looks like you're going at a decent pace, there.

lol yeah, my boss is so cool.. And I was previously buying a lot of stuff from there so he knows me from then too He said I can come by whenever I want to set up.. I chose 11-2pm so I can still write the night before and not be tired when I get up.. seems to be around the 'lunch' hour so its kinda busy then. Some days its really busy while others its like.. dead.. but, such is retail
I get so nervous trying to talk to people sweatdrop then I get excited talking and stutter .. feh my mind goes to fast for my speech to keep up so I sound like a skipping record Thank you though -nods- I did three last month .. at least I can hand out brochures with my info if nothing else
I'm going to go sleep now.. lol I have some pages done, but I'm not recording it until the end of the calendar day so.. won't be for another 22 hours about xD; plenty of time to sleep, work, and write .. though I would rather just keep writing.. with the job I can't do it like I used to (lol sleeping every 3rd day as I write over the other two non-stop .. that was fun, I did it for about a 6 month timeframe .. burnt out kinda bad though afterwards)

That sounds like a reasonable time. I usually write at night, and sleep during the day for some odd reason. I think it's something to do with too many distractions during the day. I have a suttering problem that gets really embarassing. I think that is another reason I like to write. I have trouble communicating with people verbally. I'd so be mute if I could. XD It's easier to type out your thoughts than it is to say them. I wish you luck at the book signing though! ^_^

I stutter too don't worry. I think it's because I just prefer writing to talking always have. But I hope you had luck during the signing!

Ah I see.
Heh I hate the phone Dx it's all verbal.. and I just kinda sit there grinning and doing body motions while I try and express myself. Yeah most of the time I probably look pretty stupid but.. there's more to communication than just words
But yes, thanks -nods- it's a really nice place
And yes lol I do the same too.. my best writing comes around 11pm-6am .. but that doesn't do well for having to work cashiering from 9am-8pm (usual time for the shifts, but the scheduling manager has me usually 5-8pm which is awesome) and thanks ^^' I'm gonna keep trying with the book signings
