Ekail grinned softly, a hint of..something, sparkling in those eyes of his. He lifted his head a bit, and as if looking down at Kayla's book he said "Hmm..I'm pretty sure you were on page.." he tilted his head just slightly, so that he was facing her and he leaned in a bit. He stared into her eyes for a long moment, a thin smile playing upon his lips. He leaned in a final bit more, and pulled her to him.
For his first kiss, it wasn't bad. He kissed her gently at first, the romantic side of him urging him on silently, deepening it as he went. He wrapped both his arms around her, pulled her as close to him as possible. After a good few moment, he gently pulled from her with a soft smile on his face, still holding her tightly.
"Well darn. Now I've forgotten the page too." he said with a grin ad he gently pressed his head against hers.

Kayla's cheeks turned a deep scarlet as his lips met hers. She softly closed her emerald green eyes and leaned into the kiss. She smiled, though wished the kiss hadn't stopped. Her cheeks were still a bright red and she laughed slightly.
"That's fine... I'll find the page later,"
Though she had just met him not too long ago, Kayla was really beginning to like this guy. Then a thought occured to her;
"Say Ekail... there's this Hallowe'en dance coming up... would you like to go with me?" she asked, hoping she wouldn't be rejected like she was last time she asked someone to the dance.
But before Ekail was given the chance to answer, Alexis had entered the courtyard. At first she didn't notice Kayla, but then she did a double take. There she was, snuggling up to some guy. Alexis smirked. Kayla hadn't seen her yet, seeing as her back was turned to Alexis.
Cracking her fingers, Alexis walked over to the couple and pulled Kayla away from Ekail; and punched her hard in the face.

Ekail was about to open his mouth to reply when Kayla was quite forcefully pulled from his grasp. He turned to find the persons responsible and had barely time to form a proper sentance before she punched Kayla. The second the fist impacted, that was all it took. Snatching up the blood rose, he stood up quickly and grabbed Kayla aroudn the waist and with strength not really fitting of his thin build, pulled her away from Alexis. He first gently set her on the ground, saying in a small whisper "You sit down..And incidently, yes." with a soft smile.
It vanished instantly as he stood to face Alexis. "Get away from her now, and I might let you keep that hand." he said, motioning to the hand she had used to punch Kayla. He was livid, having the peace he had enjoyed broken so suddenly. He tossed the rose to Kayla, letting it land softly next to her, and reached into his pocket to withdraw his weapon. The blade of the knife was nine inches long, and at the bottem it did not have a handle, but instead a large hole where a chain went through. The chain looped downward to about 6 feet of chain, and the handle was made of wood that wrapped around the chain, holding it in place. He let it dangle slightly, the blade glinting darkly in the cold light.

Everything had happened so fast. The next thing she knew, she was sitting on the ground, with the rose next to her and her left eye was stinging. Again. Alexis hit the same eye she had before. Kayla had just been cured of her black eye and now it was coming back. Not to mention she felt horrible, putting the blame on herself, that their moment had been ruined. Though there was a very large part of her that was tingling with happiness. He said yes!
Alexis laughed, glancing at Kayla every now and then.
"Yes, you just sit there while I finish off your boyfriend; then I'll get you," she said, unsheathing her sword and lunging towards Ekail.

Ekail smirked wickedly, his eyes glinting slightly. "Finish me off? My dear, you just ruined the best moment of my dismal life, and I am going to ensure you leave it with less then you came with." he said. With that, he did a leap over her, letting her harmlessly pass under him, and he landed facing her, behind her. He raised the blade above his head and began to spin it, whip style. First he launched it at her, attempting for it to wrap around her arms. From there, he would use it to toss her over his head on the ground behind him.

Upon seeing him leap over her, this now meant Kayla was being unguarded. She smirked and took a step forward towards Kayla, but then suddenly something was wrapping around her.
"What the..."
Kayla backed up slightly upon Alexis taking a step towards her. She wished she wasn't so helpless...

Ekail smirked darkly, watching the blade wrap aroudn Alexis several times and the blade stick in one of the chains, ensuring it would not break loose until he wanted it to. From there, he pulled on the chains, trying to pull her to him. He aimed a rather forceful punch at her face, in the same place she had punched Kayla. From there he spun the chain so that Alexis would be released from it, but she would be flying towards the fountain in the center of the Courtyard.

Alexis forcefully tried to struggle out of the chains and pushed all her weight forward away from him, hoping he would fail in bringing her closer. She let out a small shriek as he punched her hard in the left eye. Before she knew it she was flying fast towards the fountain and then landed with a loud splash in the water.
Kayla watched the whole thing and couldn't help but let a giggle slip out as Alexis landed in the fountain. She felt a bit bad for laughing, but she couldn't help herself.

Ekail smirked slightly as he wound the chain-knife back up and slide it inside his pocket, somewhat confident he wouldn't need to use it for a bit. Ignoring Alexis for the moment, he turned to Kayla and knelt down infront of her. The soft look returned to his eyes instantly, and he gently rubbed Kayla's face. "How ya doing? Perhaps it would be best if we left before she remembers what direction is up?" he asked, a bit of humor in his voice.

Kayla smiled slightly and nodded.
"That sounds like a good idea," she said, standing and picking up her book and the blood rose. She looked over to the fountain, where Alexis was sitting up and spitting water out of her mouth, her drenched green hair in front of her face, blocking her sight.
"Where do you want to go?" Kayla asked, turning back to Ekail.

Ekail chuckled softly. "Perhaps somewhere where green haired psychopaths don't disturbe us? I belive I saw a Forest on the map, might be a tad more private." he said, standing up slowly and pulling Kayla up with him. He gathered their things, handing her the book and cast one final glance to Alexis, shaking his head softly. He started off in the direction of the Ancient Forest, keeping Kayla infront of him as he walked.

"That sounds fine,"
Alexis coughed several times and then moved the hair out of her eyes. She looked around the courtyard, but both Kayla and whoever the hell she was with, were gone.

*i move toward the fountain silently with a book in hand. as i reach it, i sit beside it with my back toward everything else, placeing my book beside me, and restig my chin on my arms as i lean them agains tthe edge*
