She narrowed her eyes, then grinned wickedly and used her power. She temporally shifted his personality to that off a happy go lucky buffoon. She planned to get her kicks watching him spin cartwheels and acting like a fool, then to enjoy again when she let him come to his senses....

Universe turned to her with a goofy smile on his face and reached for her hoof. "Have I told you, my dearest Lilly, that you are one of the most beautiful women I have had the chance to converse with?" He turned and rolled around in the grass, blowing at some dandelions in the moonlight.

She stood up and dusted herself off, watching him. "Even as a goof he's still him," she muttered, half disgusted, half amused.

"Come on, Miss Lilly, Lilly the lovely! It's a nice night to look at the stars!" He rolled again, this time down the small hill. "Oops!" He called up to her.

Universe blinked and looked around, "How did I get down here?" He glanced up at Lilly. "Did you do something to me?"

"Yes," she said, staring down at him from the top of the hill. She stood there and waited for the explosion. "Yes I did." she refused to acknowledge the small part of her that was regretting what she thought to be inevitable.

Universe found himself next to a stream. His children were old enough to understand now, so he and Aziyah had let one another go. He had loved her, still did, actually. But no matter what he did, it always seemed to hurt her. He hated to see her hurt.
