Nodding, Koyuki went to do what was asked of him, walking quietly over to his sleeping sister. He wasn't entirely sure that it would be such a good idea to do so, but since it was asked of him by his Aunt, he felt it was unavoidable. " Hey.... Akiko....? Wake up....", He said in a slightly quieter volume than normal, rocking her by her shoulder, carefully. Hearing his name, Koyuki looked over his shoulder and waved to Shisei. " Hey!", He said, still trying to be a bit quiet. He listened, intently to the matters in which they discussed, thought he looked away while doing so. It didn't really concern him, much, seeing as it was between them. It seemed, though, that Shisei was still bitter about what had happened years ago, and wasn't willing to let it go. The two were very different in this sense, as Koyuki would forgive & forget within, at the most, a few days. But everyone was different, so this wasn't too important, for the moment.

Amber suns turned slightly to see the same boy from before, Koyuki was it, giving a small wave at him. The boy’s initial instinct was to glare at the Tenmoki kid until uneasiness took hold of his skin and he felt the need to turn away. Yet that couldn’t be done when trying to get something now could it? Besides it was a good thing this new face was around. “Hmm… the woman’s found replacements for the supposed family she lost during the Orochi war. Perhaps my substitute.” Shisei thought. Then again perhaps not. The dread hair may have just been taking up space until this new person arrived. Perhaps it was probably for the best then that Shisei was not around for two years. The serpent youth only turned his amber orbs away from the Koyuki, showing no movement to return the boy’s introduction. His mind then wondered if there were any other new guests to the household. The only others Shisei remembered were the medical shinobi’s two daughters. What were their names again? The youth could only remember one was bubbly and jovial and the other was a child. The child was also part Orochi. As he waited for the anbu teacher to reply he contemplated the fate of the youngest Tenmoki.

Akiko's eyes slowly widened into small slits. "Hnn?" she groaned, still very groggy. "Brother? What're you doing in my... room?" Still squinting, she glanced around the hallway in which she had collapsed. "Ugh... what? This isn't..." she trailed off, trying to gather what had happened. She pushed herself up on one arm, letting the blanket slide off of her shoulder and down her back. "...oh. Err, I fell asleep here, didn't I?"
She stumbled to her feet. After a moment, she regained her bearing and stood up straight. "Ah, brother. Would you like to see what I've been working on for class?" She placed her hands together in the form of the Ram seal. She stared into her brother's eyes as the mist of chakra swirled about her, clouding the line of sight between the two. It soon got so thick that she couldn't see out and he couldn't see in. Then, the smoke cleared, and her brother was now looking at an approximate replica of himself.

Koyuki watched as his sister began to preform the jutsu, feeling excited by just watching it. He wouldn't deny that he was a huge fan of the Shinobi life, but he had never been to sure of ever trying to join it, himself. But, seeing as his Aunt was forcing him to, he would have to learn, too. And this meant even learning from his sister, or anyone else that might have something to teach him. It wasn't too bad. Just a lot of work. A LOT of work....
Watching as the smoke enveloped his sister, he waited for it to clear in anticipation. Once it did, he was startled to see that his sister had become... Him! He had, honestly, been expecting something a little more "Epic" like a summmoning or a cool attack or shield thing, but he found this to be quite exciting, too! " Wow~!", He exclaimed in amazement. " That's awesome! Do you think you could show me how to do that!? Aunt Yuki is going to send me to the academy, too, soon! I want to learn as much as I can, so I can get a head start! What do you say? Please?" He was begging her, which was not a very common thing for him to do. Whether or not he knew it, consciously, he had already accepted and looked forward to the idea of the academy.

Akiko smiled and nodded. "Yeah, it's pretty easy, but take it slow. You need to make sure you have the chakra down before anything else. At first, it's hard to get the smoke up, and you don't really know what you're doing with chakra. Still, you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly."
Having delivered her advice, she thought about the path her brother was about to follow with her. She knew he didn't have the best history of achievement, but perhaps he simply specialized in a different, untapped niche. She hoped he'd be able to find it soon. In the mean time, she needed to help him out as best she could. She recalled the notes she had been given before beginning this exercise and decided that he could use them best. "Here..." she said, digging through her robes. She pulled out the scroll containing her homework assignment. "This should tell you a little more about the training."

[@Maia: SHAPE UP THOSE POSTS! Or I shall chomp you up!]
Even if the boy said he wasn't hungry, Yuki still set out the candies and purposely sat in front of a bowl of fruit as she began to peel an orange. An orange... Aya had disliked Sachiriku as a father for the first year and had thrown fruit at him as he snored... Looking over the orange and listening to Shisei explain his arrival and apologize for his late night intrusion, Yuki's emerald eyes couldn't help but glare at how distant the Orochi was acting. "The least I could do?" Yuki repeated back with venom in her words towards Shisei. "Those are you feelings, huh?" the woman said being pushed into a bitter corner where not even the excited and motivated yells of Koyuki could spark her warmer side. "Saving you from the mainland to avoid being taken into prison by Emperor Hanzo and then having you stay with a close friend of mine in the Hyuuga branch is next to nothing," Yuki said, but then let her emerald green eyes fall upon the fruit she was peeling. "I admit that I have not given you the attention you deserve since the death of my husband. If you didn't have such a hard outter shell on that heart of yours, you would learn even the strongest of Anbu are human and need forgiving," the woman explained to Shisei as she finished peeling the orange and began to head outside. "And for you information, the Orochi's are my family too. Now, get your pale butt out here. I'll teach you Henge tonight and you can learn the rest tomorrow," the woman said as she tossed the orange peel into the compost can. "Koyuki! Come learn Henge, if you wish!" the woman shouted to her nephew from outside.
Naive were the children that turned cold and heartless at such a young age. Shisei will eventually learn that such ways won't be very rewarding to him. "Forming your chakra in a genjutsu state is a difficult process to understand," the woman began as she sat down on a bench to watch Shisei train. "By using the ram seal, bring out your chakra. I want you to create a substance-less cloud of smoke made of nothing but energy," the woman almost demanded of her new found students.

Koyuki looked at the scroll, reading through it very carefully. At first, it didn't make sense, but after reading it, along with their Aunt's notes, he thought he understood it a bit. Then, hearing his Aunt call for him, he replied with a short," Okay!", and walked over to her. It seemed that Shisei was going to learn as well, so maybe it would be a good experience for both of them. And if one got the hang of it sooner than the other, maybe they could help one another! Although, to Koyuki, Shisei didn't look like much of a helper... Of a friendly person in general. Still, not the point. He was to focus on the task at hand. Looking once more though the scrolls, he gave the first exercise a try.

The serpent youth was surprised at her reaction. The boy was not too sure what he expected of the woman. He wasn’t too sure what his agenda was for medical shinobi, but Shisei would not let pass incidents go by. Not so easily. Perhaps for Shisei the boy couldn’t hurt the woman physically or mentally so driving the guilty stake in her like a heated knife would do the trick. For some reason the boy wanted to inflict pain on her being. As to why could be of anyone’s guess. For now the snake shinobi would participate for gaining the jutsu and listen well. His body was tired from all the annoying activities brought on by Kanami, but he could do it. After all it would be too easy to learn for the Orochi loner. He was prepared two years previous, but the teen kuniochi’s weird behavior had his body pumping faster to begin with, but now the mind was sluggish. Just as the boy would not admit his hunger he would not admit his sleepiness. Yuki’s candy would do well later in the night to churn his hunger, but that would be later. He took up one piece. For now the task would not be easy as it should be. The dread hair expected the woman to be a walkover. He was actually hoping so. Yet she would be more troublesome. Deep down Shisei did not mind. Actually he could not. Rational could not let it because if the woman was easily succumbed by guilt she would never be able to earn back the boy’s respect. The serpent youth created the ram seal like he did years ago, returning his aura to that state of genjutsu. It was like that time when the now Kage was trying to teach him. Was it that man or was it someone else? Shisei could not remember, but he allowed his body to continue with the technique.

Akiko was refreshed and ready, now that she had nearly worked through the night to get her assignment done. She resolved not to leave this very spot until she had successfully mastered Henge no Jutsu. She didn't want to show up to training being the only person left who has not successfully completed it. She was intelligent enough to grasp the concepts behind it; now she simply needed to put them into practice. She thought for a moment about the form she intended to take--the image of her lovely yet world-weary mother. She wanted to see her mother again--to tell her everything that happened, to climb up into her lap and fall asleep. Yet, she was an Academy student now; she needed to learn how to be independent. All around her, she saw children her age slowly drift apart from their parents, eventually growing to hate them. She wished that would never happen to her. So, then, she chose to preserve her memory, if only for a short while, in the form of this jutsu.
First, she looked back through her memory, recalling exactly what the notes on this final leg of the training exercise entailed. She placed her hands together, lacing her fingers together in the seal of Ram. She began to circulate chakra throughout her body, which seeped from her fingertips at a controlled rate. Soon, the chakra accumulated in the air, creating a thick ring of fog surrounding her. The chakra kept flowing out, but it gradually increased in rate. Focusing on the image of her mother placed in her mind, she wove the illusion about her body, making her appear much taller and older, among other things. As the smoke settled, the false visage of her mother was cast upon her. Unfortunately, in her naivete, Akiko had chosen what she thought her mother would ideally appear to be, rather than her mother's current state. Though the illusion was finely-crafted, it was far too perfect, far too ideal. The telltale bags under her eyes were gone, along with the premature wrinkles and grey hairs that streaked across her scalp. She looked beautiful, nonetheless, but there was something inherently, instinctively out of place about it--it was a child's view of reality.

Akiko, now in the beautified appearance of her mother, stood up straight. She realized she would have to not only hold the jutsu in place but also mimic the voice and mannerisms of her beloved mother. She took a few moments to practice before continuing on. She tried to recall everything about how her mother acted--how she used her hands, how she held herself, how her face would drop with the defeated acceptance of life. The voice was trickier: Akiko's hadn't broken yet, so she struggled to keep it at the lower pitch and at just the right timbre. Finally achieving something close enough to her mother's voice, she continued on to the kitchen.
Arriving there, she saw a small collection of people: her aunt, her brother, and some yet unknown stranger. It appeared as if Aunt Yuki was trying to teach the two the lesson she herself was attempting to finish. She saw, in particular, that her brother was struggling a bit with it. She walked up to him and draped her arms lovingly over his. "Relax, sweetie. Don't tense up your muscles so: you do not want to injure yourself. Keep your hands like this," she added, rearranging his fingers so that it properly formed the seal of Ram. At this point, she began to feel a little awkward. She was being rather affectionate with her own brother. She knew her mother was like that, though, but she couldn't bring herself to give him the usual kiss on his head. It just felt too strange. What's more, it came to her that she had just helped to teach her brother, even though their real mother knew nothing of ninjutsu. Exasperated and ashamed of her mistake, she held her hand to her forehead, unintentionally and quite ironically mirroring the same motion her mother often used.
+1 to Koyuki's next post

Koyuki was caught off guard by his mother's (or who he thought was his mother) attempt to help him. He had no idea that she knew anything about ninjustu, especially not how to do them. It was a little suspicious, but maybe she just never said anything about it. The boy's expression become one of both confusion and surprised as she instructed him on what to do, but he shrugged it off and listened anyways. " Um... O-okay, mom? I didn't know you knew about this stuff....? But, alright." Now discarding this event, however, he gave it another try, hoping that maybe it would go like it had with his aunt's candies.

The serpent child concentrated his chakra, bringing the light blue wisps of energy out of his body. The seal of ram made this easier and as soon as the wind-like blue particles were released from the boy’s pores it began to form into white smoke. A white that anyone could mistake as clouds hovering around the child. With each second his body became further engulfed in the milky haze gold eyes kept focused on in the night sky. It didn’t matter where his eyes focused but Shisei found it better if they were positioned in one area rather than scanning around. Still the amber suns lost focused and drifted downward like twin sunsets to see a new person entering into the training. This person was a middle aged woman. The scaly child did not know who it was, but could begin to assume her identity as her mass drifted over to the darker skinned boy and hugged him. The woman began making adjustments to the boy’s finger arrangement, giving pointers and probably a boast of confidence to Koyuki. Shisei’s face watched the scene with a face of deadpan and feelings close to the same. Pivoting his eyes back to the sky the snake youth resumed what he was supposed to be doing. “No distractions…”

The ultimate maverick kept his eyes focused on the stars as more chakra spewed from his pores and transformed into the white mist around his body. The years had made his body more adept for chakra. Shisei needed to build up more on the mysterious substance if he was going to master all jutsu. What was the point of knowing all the jutsu without being able to consecutively use and combine them into something devastating? Performance was only one step to true mastery. The other step was to tweak and convert what is already known into something of your own. Either by reaching a level in which no one could do it better than you or by adapting the technique into something different that expressed the person using it. That was the essence of mastery and expertise. As the white gloom drifted over the silent snake his form slowly became more distorted because of the smog. It was not perfect as the silhouette of the child could still be seen. Also his eyes still pierced through the fog like light through darkness. This would not hinder Shisei long though. He was one who grasped his mistakes and already figured out his next step.
