Karite was still trying to get up from his know hunched over position. The waterfall was drilling into his back with each second and the longer he laid there the more he wanted to call it quits. This was a part of mother nature that seemed t have bested the quick witted boy. Clenching his fist the boy was doing his best just to withstand the pain right now if it wasn't for his intense training with Maya he would have reached his limit a long time ago.

Kore had managed to find a crack in the rock's surface. Sliding inside of it with his claws. He moved up inch by inch trying his best not to slide out of his hold on the rock. As he moved his way back to a sitting position he looked back down at his partner in crime. Karite needed a little push. Growling a little he waited for the boy to catch the hint. Seeing it had no effect. The lion sucked in as much air as he could and let out a roar the king of the jungle should make. If that didn't get him back up nothing short of a miracle would.

Karite heard the fierce roar escape the lips of Kore's mouth. Escaping his pitty party Karite found the strength he was looking for to get back up on his knees. As the boy unclenched his fist and began to push up with that same determined and strange smile he got when he was fighting he knew he was going to push through this and make it to his test on time and no one was going to stop him. Shinichi himself couldn't step in his way today.

Kore was not letting go of the small tight slit he had slipped into. He was determined to keep this stance. For now it seemed to be working. As long as the water didn't seap into this slit and flood him out like all the others. Kore was a fighter and he was showing his true colors here. He would have to fight a little longer and it would all be over with.

Karite was up now and he just had to stay up a little longer. If Maya was here she would have been done with this by now. She was much tougher than he was, a seasoned vet so to speak. Crossing his arms over the tattoo's on his chest the boy closed his silver eyes and let the water engulf him. He had been trying to tackle this obstacle just like all the others in his life. He was trying to fight it head on, while all he needed to do was let it fight him. "Dont fight Kore, let the water become one with your body." Karite always had some line for every occasion. Sometimes they made sense then others they didn't.

Kore was holding on now as if the world might take him if he let go. This was by far the worse training thought up by Karite yet. He had some crazy ideas sometimes but this one took the cake by far. As the lion sat under the falls the only thing he could think was how far he had come from when they first arrived on the island. He hated water now he was being submerged in it. Growling at Karite he was telling the boy to concentrate and not worry about him.

Karite let the water cover his body as he sat and took the beating but his body was not trying to stay stiff anymore it was going with the flow of it. As the water beat against him he was moving with it. His body was not being polfirized. As the water continued to fall Karite couldn't help but smile. He was doing what he first thought to be impossible as he remembered the symbols itched into his chest he remembered that nothing was impossible sometimes it just had to be looked at from a different angle.

Kore was still standing strong and now heading Karite's words did just as he told and let the water become one with him. Instead of standing so firm he loosened up his body like he was hunting. Let his muscles move with the pressure instead of trying to repel every blow. It was a new aspect but he was so close he could feel the perfection coming from him. As the water flowed through his mane he felt a tickle and began to shake through his body until he started slinging water everywhere.

Karite was now in a distinctive pattern with the water. It pushed him right than back than right some more than forward and back to the center. Noting the water never pushed him to the left. It made more of a D pattern then a full circle. His arms still folded and his eyes still closed the boy concentrated at the task at hand. Before he went he would remember to train his staff skills a little. He didnt want to be rusty going into the exams.

Kore had let the water do its work. Did that mean he let up on his grip of the rock? The lion needed his extra security. If he had anything from Karite it was that his plans backfired sooner or later. While right now it seemed everything was going fine. The water was moving his body and massaging his muscles and his body. If it wasn't so painful it might have been enjoyable to an extent. Shaking out his black mane Kore looked over at Karite who seemed to be in deep meditation. The boy had grown to be something else. A thief of the night and quite the fighter.

Senritsu gently glided through the trees, enjoying the natural parts this village hasn't destroyed with buildings yet. The girl hoped they'd never move out this far for construction. Her green eyes were much brighter than they had been, brilliant and shining with happiness from her surroundings. Perhaps sleeping out here would be more fulfilling to her than in the alleyways she'd been using? Though, with Sukotto not around for a while she could just crash at his place til he got back. Yeah, a comfortable bed instead of a bunch of papers in a pile to sleep on. Maybe she could borrow a little shower as well. Senritsu stopped mid-step as she saw Karite training. "Oops," she whispered to herself, wondering if she should just turn around or continue on with taking her nap. It wasn't like she'd be bothering him. She stepped around the tree and walked right up to the edge of the water, took her shoes off, rolled her pants legs up, placed them in the water and laid down on her back with her hands behind her head with her eyes closed. Yawning silently, the Uchiha stayed silent, half-pondering if he'd even want to have her around. Oh well, tough luck, she wasn't going anywhere even if he used his physical strength against her. But, it wasn't as though she'd had any bad meetings with him in the past, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Karite was fine until Kore nudged him with a growl. Snapping from his almost trance like stance the boy soon returned to his resisting ways and the water went back to pounding on him. Clenching his jaw he focused on what Kore had said. Senritsu was not to far from him. From what he had remembered from the few transactions they had of words she was an analyzer. "Hey Uchia. I see you woke up today rather early. Is there something special going on at the academy that you decided to stop by the old lagoon first?" Karite said with a chuckle. He was being crushed by nature, but that didnt mean he had lost his sense of humor. He had no hard feelings towards the girl. She had been quite enjoyable to speak to.

Kore had been ready for a distraction. As his nose picked up a familiar smell of Uchia blood. The smell of ashes and destruction. After what happened to Baki he would not forgive an Uchia, he would rather strike them down than partner with them. This one however was still a young girl and had done nothing wrong. Growling at Karite he warned him of the visitor. Karite and Kore had been use to each others speak for awhile now. They could hold conversations for hours with growls and movements.

Moving his scared hands to his thighs he closed his silver eyes again and concentrated he would not prolong his pain if he could manage to push it from his mind. Breathing in and out he let the water take him on its journey as he moved around. He could not see the sun so he could not tell what time it was exactly, but he knew he needed to hurry. Yuki-Sensei was not a very patient women and she was by far fiercer than anyone he had ever meet. Being under this waterfall was much better than suffering the wrath of Yuki any day.

Kore once again let himself slide into concentration. Letting the water drown the stench of the disgusting and vile creature that had graced the prescens of the lagoon. As the water once again swam over the lion he wondered why he was doing this with the boy. Was it because he never left his side, or without him they weren't the tag team they were know as. Shaking out his mane again Kore shook out the thoughts and just concentrated on not resisting.

"Ugh, don't mention that place..." Senritsu groaned, turning her head toward the males. "That place is nothing but an oversized nursary, I don't see how you could stand having been in such a place for as long as you have. I went half the first day and ditched. As for why I'm here...well...there is no particular reason. Being at the Cliff makes me remember the fact Sukotto is away and so does being around the Estate. Walking around makes my feet hurt and I dropped by the Academy to see what was happening but there was only some red head kid there sleeping. Boring really." The Uchiha girl's eyes flowed to the male's partner and a little smile tugged at her lips. She liked this little creature. He was cute, and seeing as how Senritsu was, well, Senritsu, she rarely liked cute things. But this little buddy was entertaining in the way he and Karite reacted and spoke to eachother. It was rather unbelievable. Most people can barely understand what a house pet wants and needs while these two seemed to make a slight movement and understand what it means. It was as though the two were of one mind. Truly a miracle in the making, just as the brute woman and her lion parter were. Though, in Senritsu's oppinion, a bit more attention to her partner and a little less freaking out over everything would help them both. But it wasn't as though the female would listen to what she had to say, seeing as how their first meeting went, the young woman would see her and immidiately rip her head off. " 'sup little dude," she said to Kore, giving him a little wink before closing her eyes and facing upwards again. "And, what may I ask are you two boys doing here."

Karite chuckled as he kept his concentration on the movement of the water. Senritsu had made the mistake of calling Kore little. He was far from little now with his mane. He almost topped Baki. "I guess you haven't seen Kore in awhile. He has grown a lot. He isn't so little any more. As far as the academy goes, listen to Hamma. He may been an old blacksmith but the guys got a heart of gold and he knows his weapons. Maybe he could turn your views around. He did with me." Karite said speaking of his Jo. "As far as why we are out here, we have the Gennin exams today. We are testing to graduate and we are making sure we are number one."

Kore listened to the girl speak of him as little. Kore was anything but little anymore. A few more months and he would be a full grown lion. He was almost three years old. Growling he informed Karite he was not happy with being called small. His mane had been coming in nicely and his muscles were almost fully formed. Give it another year and he would be unstoppable. Just like Baki. Even this waterfall was seeming like an easy task.

Karite had lost his focus again and the pain was beginning to come again. It was like someone had but his body in a pot of boiling Sake. He was beginning to feel warmer than the suns rays could make him. He would have to grab hold of his concentration again. Senritsu was a welcome addition but something about women always cause Karite to lose his cool. Working with three of them was going to be harder than he thought.

Kore purred softly as the girl spoke of him. This girl knew well on how to get on his good side and as much as he shouldn't have liked it he did. He may have been a beast, but he was a softy at heart. Concentrating on the task at hand he was almost finished with he tried his best to not take his concentration off of it. This girl however was a flirt and a damn good one at that.

Karite was had gotten much better at controlling his thoughts but his biggest weaknesses still remained. Women and thieving. If anything could break his concentration it was a beautiful girl and a good target. Karite had begun sneaking out here and there at night to keep his skills sharp. At times he had seen Baki and had to hide, but so far it seemed like he kept his secret safe from everyone. He had done well so far to keep his concentration but with Senritsu around it would soon all go away.

Kore was doing better around people. He had been very cut off training under Baki. Spending most of the time he had with the Tategami clan. He had found himself forgetting how to interact with other people besides those who could understand his actions. Walking through the town most reactions he got where ones of fear of confusion. He was a leader of warriors being treated like a bum by those he had sworn to protect by Karite's side.

Senritsu sighed as Karite missed her joke on the lion's size. She opened one eye with a rather bored and lazy look, "Guess you aren't used to sarcasm. Well, school is far from something I'd ever give a chance. Whether this Hamma is a good guy or not, learning with a group of snot-nosed brats isn't my thing. Um, no offense or anything." The girl didn't want to offend him since he himself had been in the Academy. "So, Gennin exams are today? Hm...guess I can't be surprised. It's not like I pay attention to the place to notice how far they've gotten. Well, sooner or later, when I stop being so damn lazy, you can expect me to be joining you in the Gennin rank. Hm, well Mr. Soon-to-be-Gennin, anything you did in the Academy that I could learn now? Since Sukotto's away there's nobody to teach me anything, you ain't gotta move or anything. Just something off the top of your head. It'd probably be more satisfying to do something than just go to sleep like I originally came here for." The sound of the animal's dislike for her earlier remark finally caught her. "Oh shush big boy, you know I love ya," Senritsu said in a flirty voice. It was fun to tease animals. At least they could sense your energy, know when you mean something and when you don't, rather than human's who lack that fantastic capability. The fact it was a nearly full-grown lion played nothing in her mind as she teased the male.

Karite's concentration was broken when the girl asked him to give her something to do. She was not one for weapons like he was so he had to think about what style of person she was. Considering she was an Uchia she was probably one for jutsu. Which meant she also liked chakra. "Why dont you get in the water a little deeper. And see if you can push back all the water with your chakra. I use to do it in the winter with snow but this will be a bigger challenge since it is a little denser." Trying to regain his concentration so he could move onto his exam later that day the boy closed his eyes and tried to push all thoughts and pains out of his head.

Standing and walking into the base of the water fall. Kore walked onto dry land close to the girl and shook out his fur as a joke. Walking near Karite's things the Lion laid down and closed his eyes to let the sun dry him.

Karite found it hard to concentrate with Senritsu around. He would find it even harder to get out of the falls with her around. He usual came her to bath so he was use to being naked in the Lagoon. He had yet to ever run into someone else here. So as usual he was a naked. Trying not focus on it he just continued with his training. What was the worse that could happen. As he Traveled through his mind he forgot who he his heart belonged to. Orika had massive strength and she was really quick with her club. Today could be the last day of his life if wasnt careful.
