(Not to sound too bitchy, but some of us actually have lives outside of gaia and this RP. I had to work this morning, then I met my family and did some shopping, then I caught a few z's that I needed to catch up on.)
Aneisa screwed up her face a little. "Well, normally, I would agree with your logic, Dear. But in our situation, we might not be here tomorrow. For all we know, we'll be in the middle of the desert by this time. Then where will your shopping go?"
She examined the skirt and shirt that Serrenedy was holding out. "Humm, I think you're definitely right about the skirt. That would work pretty well. And you might be right about the shirt, but I think I might get it anyway. It's really cute. I just won't wear it... to the party," she coughed, going along with the pathetic ruse.
Just then she heard some screaming coming from another road a little way down from the store. Looking down to wear the noise was coming from, she saw what looked to be a creature with a raptor's body and a ceratopsian head. It didn't necessarily look like it was attacking anyone, more like it was looking for something, and Aneisa had the sinking feeling it was looking for them. Then there were more of them. "Shoot. Serrenedy, I think we'd better get out of here. There's a few nasties coming this way that I'm not too interested in running into." She started taking a few steps away from the creatures, hoping Serrenedy would follow.

((well, actually I don't have much of a life, just doing other stuff... online confused ))
Joan woke up to strange noises coming from the outside streets. She took a glimpse out of her window and grabbed her staff from the corner of the room. Jogging outside, she yelled, "Fretios!" and blazing blue flames burst out of the end of her staff, scorching some of the nearby creatures and some of the surrounding terrain. She looked around at some of the confused pedestrians, and shouted at them to get to some cover.
Joan ran around to a nearby alley and realized that it seemed that the creatures were everywhere. She threw some flames down the alley, hoping there was no one other than the monsters in it, and kept running, trying to get to somewhere more open. She saw another person who seemed to be doing alright and ran over to her.
She shot some more flame at the monsters coming at her back while still trying to guard her own backside. She thrust the staff down at the ground, and the sand surrounding it for about 20 feet turned into glass because of the high temperature and the creatures took a few seconds and a few falls to get used to the slippery terrain. She had reached the girl by that time.
"Nice fire there, you doing okay? I'll try to keep the people away and take them to cover," She said to her, "I'm Joan, you?" She looked over her shoulder at the girl and smiled, still throwing fire out toward her front.
((sorry, for the long post... just a little caught up in the story xd ))

Jessica smiled. "I'm Jessica." Her spell book was hovering next to her. She looked at it, then spun her want around, threw it up, caught it, pointed it at the creatures then commanded "Hail storm!" I hope this works...I did what it said.... she thought. Suddenly hail came flying from her wand and at the creatures. Jessica smiled happily. "Awesome!"

"Oh, niiice." Joan said, looking at Jessica's hail while trying to get some of the shocked pedestrians into a building by way of yelling at them in Arabic. Her Arabic was really bad, so she probably said something more like, 'you need to get some roof so you don't loose yourself.' It was close to what she had wanted, 'You need to get inside if you don't want to die,' but apparently the people didn't get it, so she just started yelling in English, exasperated at how thick people were. She gave up yelling at the people, and turned over to them, pointing her staff near them. She yelled 'fretios' again and the people ran into the nearest building trying to get away from her flame more than the monsters.
"Oh, Jessica? You have any clue what these things are?" She asked as she kicked away one of the creatures and threw more flame at it. The number of the things didn't seem to be going down, and even though Joan had charged her staff to the full amount, it was going to run out of energy eventually. Keeping that in mind, Joan reached into her pocket and took out what looked like a mini of the crystal in her staff. She fixed it into a hole in the staff that seemed to be designed to fit the smaller crystal and continued to fight against the creatures, trying not to use too much of the power in the staff.

((Nah, don't worry bout it. I was just bored and a little pissed off that day. You know how the family gets.))
Alex ran towards the Bazar, just barely avoiding most of the creatures. By the time he met up with Anesia, more then half of the creatures were well on his back. "I think it's time to leave the city uhntil we can find a way to kill these damn things!" He told them.

((I don't have a life and that makes it sadder-My relatives from Cali are coming over and my world's been thrown into cahos trying to make things ready-'nother week or two-promise.))
Serrenedy walked out the store bent down and looked at one of them, She pet the thing-sevral others came snarling out of nowhere tring to get her away. She put her foot in front of the one she liked, grabbed her lazer, and incineratied some of them.
"Well this is a fun shopping day" She chirpped, not noticing Alex

After pulling out a pistol from his bag, he tried to calculate the situation. "Ok, um.... We need to lure them away from the civillians!" He said to Anesia as he shot down one of the creatures.

Serrenedy finaly noticed him. "Hey Alex-I thought we had all day to shop-mennie". She ha picked up the thing and put it her bag noticabuly

Alex just looked back at her, and laughed a bit. "And you did! If it wasn't for these damn creatures, I'd let you all go crazy! Unfortunately, these damn creatures just came out of nowhere, and started to attack us!" He told her.

Aneisa nodded in agreement with Alex's plan. "Damn, I wish it was closer to sundown. We could really use other halves at this point." Just then, she noticed that Serrenedy had picked one of the creatures up and had shoved it into her bag. "Serrenedy, what the HELL do you think you're doing with that thing?! We have to go, move your a** now!" Realizing how harsh she sounded, Aneisa sighed. "I'm sorry, Hun, but we need to think of the by standers. We can always shop later."

"Charlse if it's a boy, Lucinda if it's a girl" Serrenedy cirped, hoisting the bag over her shoulder "And while everything's in cahos" She smirked-Twelve minutes later the entire stroe was cleaned out and in a bag "I'll make an outfit out of this"

Alex began leading Serrenedy and Anesia out of the city, until he then realized something. "Oh sh-Jessie!" He shouted as he ran back into the city, trying to get through all the madness. By now, the Egyptian Milita had arrived on the scene, with a unique man smoking a cigar leading them.
