Alex stood and dusted off. She tilted her head some as she looked him in the eyes. "You say that in the way that says your not telling me everything. Whats coming in the future?" she asked, tucking teh whistle under her shirt.

Seth looked at her seriously. "The man i mentioned earlier my mentor, hes most of the reason my powers are developed in the way they are. Hes also the man who trained riot to rip dimensions; that enables his ability to jump. With me i can almost do anything with mind, but i dont remember my limits. But i now know why Micah chose me to rebuild the faction. Hmm." He gazed of into the sky looking at the clouds. "The things im not telling you are the things i cannot be sure off. There was an old earth movie staring some guy who could see into the future, but he said something very important that i quess normal humans didnt know actually applied. 'If you look into the future it changes simply because you looked at it.' the future is finicky it likes to remain all knowing so that no man even with my abilities never knows exactly what will happen. But i have a very educated guess. So i cant tell you things simply because if i do they will change and if i act on them they will change." He wondered if that was explained well enough, he realized he was still levitating and lowered himself to the ground.

Alex thought about what he said for a moment, and for once was happy she had skimmed through a book on quantum physics. "That makes sense. So should I still go looking for your mentor, or is it no longer needed?" she asked.

"No he sensed the daggers reawakening and hes going into hiding in the New states. Last time i saw him i kinda threw him through a window... I dont wanna talk about it." Actually it wasnt that simple that had been fighting over the dagger, Seth created it out of a new type of nanite that always repaired the blade but they were made out of a sort of titanium and adimantium (Xmen refrence), and there was a chip the sent signals to each nanite that acted as a sort of nervous system/brain. The dagger was capable of expanding and replicating its own self into many different weapons with varying capabilities. It really depended on the user it was adaptable to any kind of power. "This dagger is an extension of power it basically figures out the users ability and recreates itself into whatever would best suit them as a weapon, its indestructible in every way except that if every piece is destroyed. Quite the creation and ims till surprised it loves me after everything ive put it through. "The latest misuse was turning me into a grenade. Which was painful." The dagger whispered from its sleep. "Did you ever see that show heroes? It came out about a hundred years before earth was destroyed, there was a guy who could absord and use other peopels powers? This dagger is that guy only like a weapon... Like think of that guy and the chick from terminator three? Oh did i tell you i love old earth cinema, mostly American though. Kung Fu movies were nice..." he was rambling.

Alex laughed. "I've seen those before. People at the theater think I'm some shut in that spend her time watching old movies." She smiled then thought of something. "Your dagger, you said it can morph to other people's powers, does that mean it'll work for anyone, or is there some sort of fail safe on it?" she asked. "Cause those pieces were sitting out here for awhile, I'm sort of surprised not one of them landed on Kain with the radius of how far they were spread."

"Ah thats the thing. The dagger is like a pet in a way. Sorry. It chooses a master based on whatever judgment it has, currently its allowed em to lock it so that it cant be used without my permission by anyone. That cant be broken it also shuts of its replication unless im around. That way it cant just be picked up and put together. If Kain were to find the dagger it would respond to him in anyway no matter how nice or forceful." He patted the dagger with a smile. "But it does also allow me to tell it who can use him, although he may be a little hostile at first, me and him have been together for five years." HE noted something then he touched his finger to the dagger. The dagger instantly popped into Alex's hand from his belt loop and began to change shape. It turned into a small Kukari with small holes all through out it and musical designs. The dagger did a quick twist and it sang a small note as an example. "Try it out." The dagger purred in her hand and whispered, " Oh so this is the woman who took my place." Seth laughed loudly and then waited for Alex.

"Eh?!" Alex blinked as teh dagger appeared in her hand. She watched it morph then smiled. "That was cool." She paused feeling a vibration from the dagger just before Seth laughed. "I'll give it a shot, but what did it say?" she asked.

"Hes jealous." He smiled and needed to mention something. "He says he turned into a kukari because if you throw him hell act as a dagger, dont worry about catching him hell come back without slicing you open. He says that if you throw him properly hell sing whatever tune is appropriate for the moment and you can manipulate the waves. Also dont worry about how the sounds work, he sizes the holes every time you use him. So figuring out how to use him should only take a few seconds."

"Wow, he is pretty handy then. My apologies to him for whatever makes him jealous." she smiled and tried to think of a song she knew the tune too. A lullaby came to mind, one that didn't have words so a tune would work fine. Gently she blew into the dagger turned instrument and started to play the song

Seth listened and the tune began to swarm his heart. Soon he raised his hands and the leaves in the trees began to move back and forth in rhythm, a small wind blew into the field and clouds began to swirl in a slow circle. As the chorus began to swell it started to rain lightly. He hummed and it echoed outside him, the dagger swayed back and forth keeping the tune alive.
The rain kept coming each drop seemed to come as a the dagger produced a new note. He looked into Alex's eyes and his own iris's reflected her deep color.

Alex smiled as she ended the song, the joining in of Seth was something she enjoyed, and the fluctuation for the ending of the song help to balance out all the new sounds. She looked up after finishing and smiled. "Nice concert, maybe next time I should sing." She moved and handed the dagger back to him. "Any requests?"

The dagger shifted back to its normal shape and color. "Nope im not much of a music enthusiast actually, but i can enjoy it." He smiled at her. "So, now its time to rebuild." He looked towards the remnants of the faction. "With most of it intact i should be able to repair it mentally. but i may need to find the old recipe for the dagger, and sadly i do think ill need my old mentor for it. Thats the only way ill be able to rebuild some of the walls and if done properly the new HQ should be able to think for itself on a limited basis like the dagger does..." He began to think of exactly what he would do.

Alex smiled and walked over to him. "Well then, I"m here to help, so let me know if there's anything I can do. I have the old blue prints for teh Faction back at teh bar if those will be of use."

He didnt know why she would have that information but it would be useful. "Ill need that then, but more than likly it wont help much. I cant remake the same building twice. Hell i may not even build it in the same place... And also theres something wrong. Kain did something, hes watching me." He looked up and his eyes locked on something above him, he listened but it was to distant too hear the noises it made. He nodded up at it. "Ill take care of it, but for now it may prove useful." If Kain wanted to track him all the more reason to set a trap.

"All the old files were moved to the attic, if I had a job title for Faction, it would of been file clerk or something. Feel free to go through any of the boxes in the attic. They're just collecting dust anyway." She watched Seth then followed his gaze upward. She couldn't see anything, obviously.
