Soren blushed a bit. "Well, I slipped on a plastic bag and smashed my face against a brick wall. I guess it's a good thing I have unusually strong facial bones. Either that or there are metal plates in my face that no one ever told me about." He put band aids on what he could and just left the rest as they were.

Kia couldn't surpress the slight laugh. "Oh wow, That's . . . different. Actually not that different. It happens, You don't feel too bad do you, need me to get you anything?" she asked stretching and resting her head on her hand.

"Actually, think you could get me something for the impending headache?" He sat on the floor and leaned against the couch. He looked a little dizzy, but otherwise alright.

Kia stood, "Sure i can." she said exiting and heading toward her room. Grabbing some pills for Soren out of her bag she walked into the kitchen and grabbed some water bringing it to Soren. "Here you go." she smiled handing him the stuff

He grinned as he popped a couple tablets in his mouth. "Thanks." He took a large sip of water and swallowed slowly. He downed the water pretty quickly after that.

"i want you to sit up though, you should stay concious for a while because there might be something wrong we can't see." said Kia sitting indian-style on the couch. Rocking back and forth to a beat she smiled, "I know a song I haven't listened to in a while. Ima sing the last bit of it!"Just take my hand

Soren picked up the tune and hummed with her. "That's beautiful." He smiled as he sat off the couch to sit on his own. He took in a deep breath to clear his head. "I promise I won't get myself sent to the ER the first night here."

She turned her head looking out the window. "Wow!" she exclaimed staring at the stars. "I have to draw that!" she said running and grabbing her sketchbooks and pencils.

Soren jumped a bit at Kia's sudden exclamation and running away. He looked out the window. "Wow. That is pretty." He got on his knees and scooted towards the pane of glass and looked at the sky.

Kia laughed running out the front door. She ran out through the sand tripping a little before finding a place to settle. Laughing still she turned and waved towards the window before looking up at the sky. She could almost feel the moolight casting a hand over her. Grinning she gathered her things and plotted how she would draw it

Soren waved back gently, then turned his gaze back to the stars. A calm, sleepy smile settled on his face as he leaned on the sill.

Kia had sketched halfway through the stars before she looked over again, "Hey!" she said tossing a tiny rock at the sill. "You have to stay awake a bit longer!" she yelled tossing another tiny rock before turning back and finishing her sketch. After inking and coloring she returned to the house.

"No worries. I'm still up." He chuckled a little as she was returning. Once she was back inside, he stood upright and stretched. "I'm glad you care. It's cute." He ruffled her hair playfully.

Kia yawned as she walked in. "Yeah, Yeah." she said laughing. "What's my reason not to right?" said Kia grinning and ruffling his hair back while straightening hers.
