Without warning, Hrothgar charged his target much quicker than before. As he closed in, he flailed his weapons wildly to launch a rapid assault upon his foe.

Seth shifter her sword into position. She managed to parry the axe attacks in attempts to move out of harms way. She missed a hammer strike from the side, getting sent flying across the arena into the wall just next to a floor entrance. The impact with the wall left her gasping once in pain as it buckled and cracked from the collision. Falling off of the wall, Seth came to her hands and knees before slowly standing back up.

Maryl shrieked in terror seeing Seth slap into the wall. She crept a bit closer to Seth along the railing, keeping an eye on Hrothgar as she moved. A few tears emerged in her eyes as she came fairly close to where Seth hit the wall. I can't let her die, I have to do something.

Hrothgar jumped up into the air, raising both weapons. He fell fiercely upon the ground smashing and displacing the ground around him. As he landed he brought both weapons down to crush and rend his foe.

Tipping over, Seth flew low and took off around the side of the arena to avoid Hrothgar's jump attack. She coasted just above the ground coming to a stop a quarter of the way around the circle. "I can't get into close combat with him now. He'd snap me like a twig. I need a plan."
Seth put away her sword, She loosened her sleeve lowering a punch blade into place. "ok... Let him come to me." Taking a defensive stance, she waited for Hrothgar to turn around.

Hrothgar turned to face Seth. He slammed the ground with his hammer, creating a splitting fissure which sped across the ground toward Seth. As the fissure traveled, lava began to gush from the crack creating tall columns of bright hot liquid.

Maryl sprang up with spellbook in hand. With a faint glow of light from her hands the pages rapidly flitted to a particular page. Fire rose from the pages and into Maryl's hand. She released it into a stream of heat rushing toward the back of Hrothgar's head. As Maryl concentrated the magic became unruly rapidly chilling to a ray of cold as it approached Hrothgar.

Seth took a running start to the side. She had to get clear of the lava and the fissure just to have a decent tracking of Hrothgar. She began to approach him at an angle, readying her revolver. "ok... it seems like his distance combat game is limited. Unfortunately, so is mine."

Hrothgar turned his head feeling a chilly burst. He spotted the little witch from earlier and stomped the ground viciously causing a tremor. He roared and took to the air with his hammer raised to come down and smash her as he landed.

Seth noticed something take Hrothgar's attention away. Looking up at the stands she noticed Maryl had attacked him. She stumbled from the tremor and struggled to her feet before jumping up to fly after Hrothgar. "Maryl NO! GET AWAY FROM THERE!"

Maryl attempted to flee but stumbled. She barely managed to get clear of the hammer but the impact and sundering of the floor sent her out of the stands and over the railing into the circle below. Maryl screamed a bit before landing and tumbling to a stop face down on the arena floor.

Hrothgar stood up and raised his hammer, having smashed up some of the seats in front of him and leaving a broken mess. He turned rather rapidly catching Seth's approach and as he did, he brought both weapons around in a wide swing to catch Seth in a wide attack area. He sliced first with his axe then a swing of his hammer.

Seth slowed up but with no time to alter course. Noticing Hrothgar's target change once again, Seth tried to evade his two attacks but with little efficiency. She felt a pretty powerful slice across her lower abdomen followed by the impact of Hrothgar's hammer sending her tumbling back to the arena floor. As she came to a stop on the ground face up, she looked up at the sky then toward Maryl.

Maryl lifted her head a little and opened her eyes. She wasn't terribly hurt, just a little roughed up from the tumble she took. Pulling her hat down , she looked around to find out where Hrothgar was inconspicuously. Her sight caught Seth first, sending her heart racing. Oh no! Please be okay. Maryl began to stand up, collecting her spellbook as she did. As obvious as it was, she flipped open the book as she began walking to Seth and raised a hand forming a protective bubble around herself.

Hrothgar jumped High up off the stands and fell, using his weight to smash the ground. He aimed to land on Seth and use his weight to crush her. He didn't seem to notice Maryl moving around.
