Eclipse had been thoughtfully silent for a while. After hearing his story, though, she could remain silent no longer. "I'm so sorry Kalypso. It is hard to even imagine the... the horror of that." Eclipse shuddered at the thought. Carefully she nuzzled him on the shoulder gently, not wanting to seem too forward.

"I guess you are right."Gwen said with a sigh reluctant to let go of the night. She whistled for Kavik and waited until he came trotting up.
"Yes and you will always be welcome. I promise I will get all of us out of here."Path said. He wished he could comfort Kalypso, but it was different then comforting Konoha.

"Don't worry by the end of tomorrow you'll want to get away from me." Colonel smiled at her and started toward his house, ready to turn in for the night.
Konoha gave Kalypso a last nuzzle and pulled away from him, giving him space. She watched the man move away from the fence as they seemed to be leaving them alone for the night. She stopped a yawn and even though she was tired and her three good legs were starting to ache she stood still and waited for Kalypso to recover somewhat.

Eclipse blinked tiredly; even though she had taken a few short naps, she was very tired from all of the activity of the previous day. She took the weight off of one hind leg and lowered her head. She felt more secure with Kohona, Path, and Kalypso around.

Kalypso's eyes shot open and his ears pricked up. He exhaled, not sure what to say or feel. Konoha had said he now had a home, Eclipse had comforted him, Path had accepted him. He turned to Eclipse and nuzzled her shoulder as she had done to him. He nuzzled Konoha as well, then turned to Path. "Thanks...I-I don't really know what to say." he said with a small chuckle. He lifted his head and smiled at Path. "When we get out of here, may I join your herd? I could be like, a, um, watchguard or something..." he said.

Konoha smiled, she could feel her eye lids getting heavy and didn't fight the sleepyness. Seeing as how Eclipse how Eclipse had drift off she decided it was time to sleep, they could talk more tomorrow. "I don't know about you but I'm going to bed. Night boys." She on purpously left Path to answer Kalypso's question and had used a pronoun in stead of their names. Limping off a few feet she tucked her legs under her with the splinted one sticking out. Her head nodded a few time before she rested in completely on the ground and drifted off to a dreamless sleep.

Kalypso nodded to Konoha without looking at her. "G'night Konoha.." he said quietly. He looked at Eclipse, napping with her head down. He lowered his head and, turning his face to see her's, looked up at her sleeping face from beneath. He chuckled silently, just blowing out air, then lifted his head to Path again, waiting for his answer.

"Of course you may. It is always good to have another older stallion around. Those younger ones can be helpful, but then they start get ideas and thinking they can take you on. Now if you do not mind I'm beat. See you in the morning."Path replied before trotting over and laying down next to Konoha. "G'Night my girl."he murmured drifting to sleep.
"G'night Colonel."Gwen said before heading to her house Kavik trotting at her heels. She glanced up at the sky thinking of all the stories her grandma had told her about the constellations.

"Good night Gwen." Colonel walked to his house, whisteling softly to himself. Entering his house he picked up the lamp and carried it to his room. Closing the door he stripped down to his undershorts and hurriedly scrambled under the covers. He lie stareing up at the celling for some amount of time as sleep caimed him.
Konoha flicked an ear in his direction and leaned slightly against him, completely consumed by sleep.
((After everyone has a chance to post one more time for the night, we will skip the rest of the night and start with morning.))

Gwen entered her room and after changing settled into bed. Kavik jumped up on the bed and layed down at her feet. She sighed thoughts of tomorrow in her head as she drifted off to sleep.

Kalypso sighed happily. "Thank you. And that's understandable, young stallions are so full of themselves." He bid Path goodnight, watched him go and lay down next to Konoha. He looked at the two of them affectionately, they were perfect for each other. He sighed again and stood next to Eclipse as she slept, gazing at the night sky. He was so overjoyed that he was finally being accepted that he didn't feel like sleeping yet. Instead, he skitted away from Eclipse for the time being and pranced happily about the fenced area. He shook his head and stepped high, enjoying the crisp night air. He came to a halt next to Eclipse again and held his head high, allowing the breeze to blow his mane around. He nudged Eclipse, hoping to wake her, so she would lay down instead of stand. He lifted his head to the stars once more. Right now, he wished he could fly that high and join them in his happiness.

Eclipse woke as Kalypso nudged her, and she blinked her eyes open. She asked sleepily, "Hmm?" She already felt better from taking a nap, although she was feeling just slightly stiff because she hadn't slept lying down for a while. She wondered what Kalypso wanted, and how much later it was since she had fallen asleep.

Kalypso turned to her again as she awoke. "Hey, you should lie down if you're going to sleep again...you've been standing for a good 2 or more hours. You look kind of stiff..." he said to her.

Eclipse nodded sleepily. She looked around with a slightly worried expression; she didn't trust this place, there were too many wolves running around freely. Despite that, there were other horses around, and relucantly she decided to lie down and sleep for a bit.
"I am rather stiff... I'll sleep lying down, but I still don't trust this place." She brought her head down to the ground and bent her front legs slightly and brought her hind legs underneath her. She rolled over and laid down on her side, feeling rather exposed. Not long after, though, her legs felt better and she was soon asleep again.

Kalypso nodded in understanding. "I know...I don't trust it either." He stood next to her like a guardian, hoping she might feel more safe if another horse was close by. He watched her out of the corner of his eye as she fell asleep. He then lifted his head to the surrounding landscape and watched for signs of danger, which he could feel were all around him. A few hours passed and he watched sky turn from black to a water grey tinted with gold as the sun beagn to rise over the distant hills
