Kagome: Kagome’s anger slightly rose within her. “Well then you go! I’ll stay here and wait for Kihara and Malan. I’m not going anywhere without them. We’re all in this together! If you want to be a baka and go off by yourself then go!” Kagome yelled. For some odd reason what he said really angered her, maybe it was a combination of things and she was just directing all of her negative energy at him but none the less she was angry. She took a seat on a stump and waited as she watched Inuyasha out of the corner of her eye to see what he would do.

Kihara turned around as she heard someone yelling. She turned around at Malan.
"Wasn't that Kagome?"

A fog had rolled in and now Malan couldn't see past his nose. "It sounded like her but... Where are we?" Said Malan, "I hate fog, it's an archer's worst nightmare. Hey what's that!?" Said Malan pointing to a darkerpart of the cloud.

Sango turned to Inuyasha, "Inuyasha, I think Kagome-chan's right, we should stay here and wait for the others to come back." she said leaning against a large shady oak tree.

Kihara watched as the fog surrounded them. She heard Malan speaking but she couldnt tell where he was pointing.
"Malan where are you? I cant see a thing!"

"Kihara?... Kihara?! Where are you?" Yelled Malan. Then a figure apeared in the fog whereing a baboons mask, "Naraku..." Said Malan. Malan loosed an arrow and the figure dissapeared.

Sesshomaru: ~jumps out of the fog and attacks Naraku with his Light Whip~

Koga: You go on ahead if you want InuYasha. I'll protect Kagome.

Kihara flew out of the way when she saw something coming into the fog and attack someone else. She looked around and threw the fog could see the outline of Malan.
"Malan!" she flew over and held on to him tightly.
"Who was that?! Who's here?"

InuYasha was hurt.
He didn't know why he was over-reacting, or the reason she was, and he didn't even get mad at Kouga for saying the words that he said.
InuYasha sighed, and slowly began walking downhill.
"There's no point if you two aren't going, and I thought...I thought...there's just no point without the two of you, and then...since...I thought...it was for everyone...well I guess I was only right about only one person then. Myself." He sighed.
What was coming over him? This...feeling of...guilt?
"If it's about waiting for them...I have a feeling Naraku's already there...but who cares anymore? I have a feeling that others sure don't, and if you all do it together, it's fine with me, since I'm the one who wants to kill him the most, but I guess I just don't really CARE anymore. He didn't kill you, did he?" InuYasha explained, head still down, voice still incredibly low.
"I won't go, but I won't stay either. I think Koga understands. I guess the only thing I care about now is everyone I know now, and that's really what it has always been. I only really care about you, Kagome, and that's all that really mattered to me. But now, I don't want to kill him. But I will protect, not kill, because I care about you all. Understand?" InuYasha explained, color coming to his face.
"The time is not for negativity, Kagome, nor is it time to hurt people and their hearts, but I will protect all of yours. Understand? I don't want to see anyone get hurt!" InuYasha explained, head still down.
"We will wait." InuYasha said.
[This would be a great time for Kagome's torturer to come into play. I'd like to explore Inu's mind a little. And yes, those words did hurt him, Virginia. Very deeply.]

Kagome: Kagome sighed. She got up from where she was sitting and began walking over to Inuyasha. “I apologize Inuyasha. I don’t want anyone to get hurt either, that’s why I want to stick together. And if anyone did get hurt and I couldn’t…” Kagome stopped in mid sentence as a scream erupted from her mouth. But the scream was stopped as a hand covered her mouth and a steel blade was put up to her neck. She could see the reflection of her attacker in the blade and her eyes widened in fear. It was him…
Him (I don’t have a name for him yet.. Soooo he’s just going to be called ‘him’ for now..): He chuckled as he could feel the fear pulsing from Kagome. “So, Inuyasha… we finally meet. I knew eventually this girl would be of some help.” he spoke in a cold tone.

InuYasha looked at him coldly, but not a trace of frustration in his face. He was still hurt...but nevertheless, he stared up at the man coldly.
"I must thank you--but for only one thing. You gave us quite a reason to wait, but an unreasonable one at that. For you, it's all good for you. But you just came with a wrong reason in a wrong place to mess with the right person. But you are wrong. The only reason why I'm the right person is because I will send you straight to hell." InuYasha explained, in a cold tone as well.
InuYasha's face and skin was pale, but not for any reason. He just didn't feel anything all that human.
He just wanted the man to die.
But Kagome was with him...so...he had to wait...
"Don't hurt her. I'm sure you're keeping her hostage for a deal, but you will only find my blade afterwards, if we come to any agreement. You hurt her, you will experience more than the nine rings of hell." InuYasha said.
"I guess you would feel if we've met a thousand times before? You've been hunting me. Everyone's been hunting me. But you tortured her to lure me in and to get answers from her. It would be the right thing for you to do, but you are dead wrong for messing with Kagome and I, and the others. You chose the wrong person to mess with, but I will send you to your rightful place. But before anything else, I have one question..." InuYasha paused, stood up, and looked at Kagome straight in the eye, then his opponent.
"Who the hell are you?" InuYasha asked.

Kagome: Kagome held her head above the blade and looked at Inuyasha. Her eyes were watering in fear as she struggled to stay on her trembling feet.
Takumi: He smirked as his attack on Kagome made Inuyasha's blood boil. "No matter what you or anyone else does my dear friend.. this b***h dies. But before I kill her, let's have a little fun. What do you say Inuyasha?" he said. He pressed the blade into Kagome's flesh causing it to pierce her skin. Her warm crimson blood seeped out of it's veins slowly and onto the steel sword. "Oh and my name... is Takumi." he said. "Any quick movements and her head will be mine."

Knowing what Takumi had said, he sat down, completely still.
InuYasha gazed up at him with cold eyes, and his fists clenched, but then he stood up quickly, and then grabbed the knife from her neck, and put it across his own.
"If you're going to kill anyone, KILL ME!" Inuysaha said, looking straight into the eyes of his enemy.
He knew Kagome was still in reach, and still bleeding, and he couldn't push her out of the way, he was too quick, but he knew an enemy would take this opportunity to kill him. If he had tried anything else, she would have died.
But he could still kill them both, Kagome was hurt, and he could easily get so Sango, but not Kouga. Kouga...he felt sympathy for Kouga.
For the first InuYasha appreciated him for being who he was.
InuYasha tossed his sword towards Sango, and removed anything else that would keep him safe. If he was going to die, he was going to die here, if anywhere else.
"Kill me first, and if you kill me first, give them at least a head start. Don't lie with me, I know you want to kill all of us. And I don't care how many seconds, or even a second if you even give them a chance, if you're going to kill anyone, complete your goal in killing me first." InuYasha explained.
Then he realized he might just be killing everyone else to hurt him, and then to kill him. He'd be willing.
"No matter what I say or do, we'll both die..."
"But I go first."

"Kihara!" As he said that the fog lifted and they were by the group again. Malan realized he had the element of surprise after noticing the nife at InuYasha's throat. He raised his bow, arrow drawn, blue streaks apearing near the tip. "Put down your weapon or you die!" Shouted Malan to the man.
