Preferred method of playing?
I use a pick now, but i'm trying to learn to play with my fingers.

How long have you been playing? 2 1/2 years
What model bass do you have? LX205B 5-String Rogue (metallic black finishing)
Preferred method of playing? fingering', hammers, slides.
Personal Influences? Red Hot Chili Peppers, Victor Wooten, my dad

I've been playing about a year.
What model bass do you have?
just a standard squire p-bass
Preferred method of playing?
My fingers, not really into playing with picks
Influences?
Nothing really 'cept the fact that i liked the way the bass sounded and it wasn't like the guitar [[which a lot of people play.
Favorite bassist?
No one famous, really just me teacher.
I like his style of playing and the way he plays.

A ibanez gsr 200, still saving up for a beter guitar domokun
Preferred method of playing?
I love to slap! My thumb is always messed up razz
Also i use my fingers offcourse. I dont like picks.
Playing bass with a pick is like eating a bag of chips with a spoon neutral
Influences?
The red hot chili peppers.
Especially the first 5 studio albums domokun
Favorite bassist?
Flea offcourse.
I love his slapping technique, his funk grooves and his improvisations on stage.
He made bassplayers cool mad D

What model bass do you have? Gibson SG-Bass Reissue.
Preferred method of playing? Walking with fingers.

I have been playing for about 3-4 years.
What model bass do you have?
Washburn Bantam series XB102 (but I think I am getting an Ibanez soon.)
Preferred method of playing?
Picking cause you can go fast. (I like playing punk and metal.)
Personal Influences?
I just kinda wanted to go for it so I did. lol.

How long have you been playing?
Since I was 14, so about 3 years
What model bass do you have?
Currently using a Vinatge Wraith Metal AXXE but would like a new bass that doesn't look so "metaly" lol and hopefully a five string.
Preferred method of playing?
Fingerstyle, Slap, Tap, Everything really, I like to experiment.
Personal Influences?
Too many to mention. From Metal to Funk to Jazz to Rock. Certainly anything with a creative bass line.
Favored Bassist/Idol Bassist?
Victor Wooten, Jaco, Flea, Jeff Schmidt, Joe Morgan and Billy Sheehan to name a few.

Sammick Signature series, Ibanez EBD 600, and a wierd custom short bass with no name....
Preferred method of playing? umm fingers? slap, pick, whatever i love to vary my style
Personal Influences? Larry Graham!!!! Victor Wooten! umm a lot of funk, blues, some jazz, tons of rock, the Who, AC/DC, Ted Nugent, Deep Purple, Rush, Lynard Skynard, Tom Petty, CCR, BTO, throw in a lil Mo-town, some classical, Led Zeppelin is god.

How long have you been playing? since i was 14 so that's 1 and a half years
What model bass do you have? A Gould Jazz, but i had a fender pick-up installed and fender jazz strings put on it so it's cheap but awesome
Preferred method of playing? Fingers but i'm trying to work on it
Personal Influences? I was influenced to play the bass by my in capability to play the guitar

I preferably play by picking or rarely tapping..

What model bass do you have? Fender zone.. Ugly color, but the sound is absolutely gorgeous, even better now that i switched to brighter strings.
Preferred method of playing? Fingerstyle.. I don't like picking.
Personal Influences? My lovely teacher, or any sort of bassline that sounds and is technically good.
Favored Bassist/Idol Bassist?Victor Wooten of The Flecktones, and Seiiji of Tokyo Jihen.
