Yeah, I lurk there a lot too looking at the art, but if a new thread pops up offering art, that I like enough, I tend to try and snag a spot.

Yeah, I know what you mean. After I finish my quest I'm going to try and save up to buy some good art, though.

It's leather-and-lace.com, but there's nothing hentai on it. They're just being descriminatory because I used the words leather and lace together. stare

The funniest ones are the one's blocked for "cult" Such as seveal catholic sites my friends have run across. >< And a window shopping site blocked for "drugs" It's quite sad really.

Hullo gang! This topic I thought of didn't seem to merit a new thread, so I'll just post it here.
Note - this is not a beg post! It's just an honest one!
Question - what artists around Gaia do you wish you could commission? The reasons you haven't can be anything - too poor, or the waiting list is always filled up, or someone always snipes your auction bid, or the artist just doesn't do commissions anymore - anything like that. But you recognize their talent and would love one from them...but don't have one! (one example for me would be Jaded_Ice, who gets great auction bids out of my reach, and her RL $ prices are out of my RL reach lol)
Come to think of it, you can even include an artist that has changed their style, but now has grown beyond your reach to commission (one example to me would be [ao] - i have the cutest little headshot from [ao] from years ago, but that current full body art is SO great...but out of my reach!)

Actually, there's quite a few I'd love. I know that I'd loooooove one from Caramel Apples. Her line arts are always beautiful. I always love art from unsolvedenigma. She's just that good. However, her slots are usually full, and she's got way too much going on in real life. Popo-kun makes me green with his skills. <3
But of all of them that I'd really love? Lithilia. There's no way in heck I can afford her prices, but if I could, it'd SO be worth it.
Randomly. The auction? Went from 6k to 10k to 100K. O.O
