Like, I dunno, 20? More...? Too many bad clarinet players, for my tastes...

7. Hardest song ever played?
Umm..La Nouba and Reve Rouge in marching band because I had only been playing for 9 months, at the time.

Middle unfortunately.

Not really. I'm the only one who makes myself practice and the rest of my family hates jazz. They fell asleep during a summer concert I played in.

I don't think I can count for the clarinet. The trombone's only dented 'cuz of ebay.

No. Just no. I don't think anyone can look good while playing the clarinet.

Well, I don't remember them all, but one of my favorites from my BD was when he assigned everyone to pick 5 songs out of their book, he said that I literally did best. Better than the first chair kid.

The....Bladder Pipe!!!

Quite often, and our Bd wants us to, but most of the other kids don't, so I sometimes try to resist.

I can't pick. Its half and half, see. I like the kids that practice, but I hate the rest.

I'mma band geek, no doubt. I do every band-related thing I can, and I'm usually early, too. I practice, and stay after school to learn more and transpose music for my BD. Anything band related, I'm there.

I'm naturally slow, so 1-5 minutes, depending how lazy I am. I'm even slower at putting it away, though...

I practice all the time. I joined band a year and a half ago, and I've moved up from bottom to 4th chair. Meaning, I passes over 15 clarinets. I also went from size 1.5 to 3. I'll be going to 3.5 soon.

Both. I have some friends, but I only got 'em recently, so I'm not too into their group. I usually just sit and stare at the floor or sort music for the BD in my spare time.

The kind that THINK they're funny (and on very rare occasions, are), annoying, and... weird. XD
The other one--for brass--IS funny, but he doesn't laugh at his own jokes. XD He's sorta strict, but he gets us to play harder/better. XD

About 30. Next year, over 40, I think. XD

...Benge, but it's my dad's. But I'm hoping to get a pretteh cornet soon, and it'll prolly be a Yamaha.

I'm not a complete band geek.......the closest thing i do to being a true band geek is hang out in the band room after school....everyday.....

we had three people trip in one marching performance....it had been raining and the school we were competing at put sand on their field (who puts sand on their field?!?!?)
the only other trip we've had was a student teacher who ran out in the middle of a performance to set up the forgotten bells for the pit....on her way back to the truck she wasn't paying attention and took out one of our trombone players.....it was horrible!

Except these two trumpets who sit next to me tap each other on the shoulder while the other looks away on purpose, then they blame it on King George and Yao Ming and point to wherever they're "hiding"... marching band has too many to write about!

not that many... I take care of my silver trumpet, though my brass one has a huge dent in the bell where some kid got mad at me and threw it at a fence...

My favorite is from one of my rookies who hates my guts("You sound like a moose in mating season!!!"), but I guess the best one would be when our director told the trumpet rookies that they needed to look up to me when it comes to playing and marching, not just because I'm over 6' tall. ^.^
18. Weirdest instrument you've ever seen?
I'm not sure what it was called, but it is a mini tuba (it was at Tuba Christmas in Cleveland when I was eight or nine...)

heeheehee... Second trumpets! They suck!!! -throws tomatoes- Other than my rookies.... tubas, because they're stupid and obnoxious, at least the last 2 years they have been

Well... all of the friends I had in my section didn't do concert band, only marching band, and the only sane people who are halfway decent at life are guys who think I suck because I'm a girl... So, quite a lot, actually.

I'm not sure... I don't dress like a geek, but I'm reading constantly and I'm good at video games, and I'm definitely NOT popular, so maybe...

no, not really.... I'm too intimidating because I'm taller than almost everyone in band... and my school... But, the entire band got attacked with water balloons last year at band camp... They made us stand at attention, though, because they were scared of retaliation...

not for concert band... Parades it's white band shirts and black dress pants with marching shoes, and games it's either that or our black, orange, and white uniforms (mainly black) with sweet half-capes and braids on the sleeves, and white spats and gloves... We have sweet cowboy hats and orange plumes, so it's an awesome uniform.

hehehe... about thirty five... last season! The year before though, these two kids who were right next to each other were marking time and both slipped and landed like five feet in front of where they were... it was AWESOME!

The kinda strict kind that can be alright, but half the band hates.
5.How many in your section?
9. 3 firsts, 2 seconds, 4 thirds.
6. What brand Instrument?
Bundy for school, and Buffet everywhere else.
7. Hardest song ever played?
Mozart's Clarinet Concerto. I played it for solo and ensemble and got and excellent! It's grade 6!
8.Middle or high school?
High baby!

Oh yes. My brother's in his middle school band and my mom is a hardcore band mommy.
10.Band love?
I had crushes on fellow bandies, but I never dated any. I don't currently like a bandie, but I did like the drum major this year for a while.

Sometimes my mouth looks a little wierd and my eyes bulge out, but other times I look moderetly normal.

Last year (freshie year) after my first scales test, two guys, the first chair trombone and the second chair sax (soon to be first chair and drum major the next year) pulled me aside and pretty much praised and worshiped me for how good I played (I nailed it) and said how I should challenge the first clarinets and all that. Twas very touching.
18. Weirdest instrument you've ever seen?
Not sure. When I was in middle school I thought bass clarinet was kinds wierd, but not now.

Yeah, but I tap my heel so it always looks like I'm marking time in marching band even when it's concert band!

I use VanDoren V 12 reeds, Gibson guitar picks, All County cork grease, and a Ronver ligature.

Last year, one of the first clarinets fell off her chair, I've tripped A LOT marching, and the bottom half of my clarinet fell off when I was walking off the stage after a concert.
