Eulalia Danae Haldis pointed to Arix, (nah we're all closed off now). "He has the cards, and the suits are located in the closet next to the airlock." She gave Forde an innocent look. Xeen paused as she spoke. "We don't need the cards, I just need to see the room. Can you get us there, girl?" Xeen paused, and directed Forde a look of utmost loathing. "If we leave this ship alive, your blood will be on my hands, cretin."

Haldis rolled her eyes. "In order to access the room, you need the cards, silly. " She pulled away from Xeen and moved to Arix, holding her hand out for the cards. "I need two of the cards. Don't worry, they will be in safe keeping."

Forde glared at Xeen, and then smiled. "No...I believe it will be your own blood that stains your hands." He said with a sneer. Although none of it will matter if I get that damn stone...

Arix shrugged then handed the cards over to Haldis. She hadn't steered him wrong so far so he figured it'd be all right.

"Thank you," Haldis said to Arix, giving him a sweet smile. She turned and handed the cards to Forde, "Blood is not a necessary conversation at the moment. You both will die, along with everyone else, if things continue on the path that they are now. Here are the cards. We need to get one of those cards and a space suit to Jarred, who is in the prison." She pointed to the airlock system. "The suits are close by."

Forde took the cards and placed them in his pocket. He glared at Xeen once more as he went to a locker, and put on one of the suits. "Stuffy as s**t in here..." He muttered to himself as he put it on. He walked back over to Haldis, a pistol in one hand and a suitcase in another. "Where can I find this Jarred? And will he take me to the stone?"

"Jarred is in the prison, you'll need to travel from one airlock to another." Haldis grinned, "and he has dealt with the stone in the past."

Forde clutched his suitcase, and spun the chamber on the revolver. "You better not be sending me to my doom child..." He muttered to himself as he checked to see if his dagger was securely in it's chest sheath. He looked at Xeen, and cocked his head. "Are you coming? Or am I doing this alone?"

Xeen paused, and looked at the child, then back to Forde, shaking his head.
"Go. I have things I must attend to. Lives are at stake." He said, turning to Haldis, kneeling down to eye level with her, "I need you to come with me, child. A lot of people will die if you do not. I am trying to preserve life if I can." Xeen let his words hang in the air before offering the child his hand.

A.C. woke up with a panicked scream of "MOTHER!" and immediately started hyperventilating, orange eyes wide and glowing unusually brightly.
((I love that fact that I'm the one with the fifth card. I can't tell you how happy that makes me right now, in a delightedly self-centered sort of way.))

Haldis raised an eyebrow and glanced in the direction of the screaming AC. "She wants her mother." She stated to Xeen in a flat voice, as if he could do anything about it, or cared anymore than the cold hearted stone. "As for what people you discuss, what makes you think I'm truly concerned about the lives of those at large. If anything I will be just disappointed to lose my entertainments."
