Eulalia Danae
Lia continued to watch him her voice flat and unemotional for specific reasons. If he could see her face he would still make nothing out, it was a smooth mechanical helmut with only a red visor for her eyes to see out. "You're confused, you will become adjusted soon enough." She moved in slow steady actions to a counter. Within a moment she had mixed an orange colored liquid in a glass and then offered it to Sun Kang. "Drink this, it might help you regain your footing a bit."

"It is good to meet you Sun Kang, but I have stopped tallying debts a long long time ago. That is good, because no one would ever wish to be in my debt."
"My balance is not what troubles me, however I appreciate it nonetheless..." Extending a hand, I grasped the vial from her which contained the orange concoction. Uncertain of its contents, I swirled it about a bit; holding it slightly underneath my nostrils as I sniffed it about. It burned; making me flinch at its potent stench.

Allowing my wariness get the better of me once more, I placed it upon a crate beside me. Looking back towards her, I stared at her--somewhat able to make a bit clearer picture. Thought still hazy, I could see a red light beaming horizontally across her face. There was no structure otherwise for a nose or mouth--not even for ears. Her body remained stilled and lifeless--almost like a mannequin. "...You're not human, are you?"

"Hm." Jarred mused to himself. He did know about the Eye, but didn't know it was here, on the ship. He wasn't even sure if it was real.

"So they sent you to kill everyone and find the stone then, huh?" Jarred spoke at his PDA, the voice sounding over Pen, who was not, in fact, in the jail at all, but elsewhere. As in not in the prison. But in a hallway. Away from the prison. ((Had to one-up the number of times you reassured everyone she wasn't there. Sorry))
"Why didn't they just have you offer up a reward for whichever escaped con on this ship could bring it to you?"

Myke had stopped and returned back to the rest of the group upon realizing that Sam wasnt really sam....A chameleon on the ship would be interesting, not to mention Fun at times.....There could even be TWO Myke Spyders at one time. A concept that in of itself would more than likely cause the universe to explode from the sheer awesomeness of its own preposterity.

Pen, not being in the jail at the moment but off in the hallway somewhere, answered. "That sums it up, in crude language, but yes." She glanced at the hallway that was in no ways the prison, because she was not in the prison. "I didn't know you were on this ship, obviously. They must have botched your name on the records or something. Or you were simply a last minute addition." She wasn't in the prison. "As nice as a reward sounds, Jarred, this stone must be kept secret. You know how many people would kill for it. If all who know about it are dead, then there is less of a threat. The last owner has already payed with his life after all, and you can attribute that to Pandora."

"Nutrients, in an easily digestible form." She explained of the concoction but let it slide as Sun Kang set it to the side. She had no interest in forcing anyone whether it help them or not.

The mechanical suit made some soft whirring noises, as Lia smiled behind the helmet covering her head. It was the only movement she made, the rest of her maintaining the mannequin like stillness. "I am, and I am not. Human is such a loose term these days. If you are referring to the machinery, consider it a straight jacket, or very large chains."

"The Kore's worried about a pile of cons. Fantastic." Jarred sighed. "So what, that's it? You're set in stone: take the Eye and kill the ship?"

"The Kore is worried about a ship of cons with loose tongues. Take it as you wish, Jarred. At the moment, my focus is getting off this ship alive...I'm taking things one step at a time, but that was my initial goal in a nutshell, yes."

"Bio-mechanical android...? No...It doesn't seem so..." Slowly, I began to encircle the woman; straining my eyes to focus in on what was actually before me. "Neither of science nor nature...? Something of that transaction...?" Halting as I came back around to her face, I stopped and looked towards her face once more. "...Never mind. Ignore that foolish remark. It is not my place to pry. But even so...wouldn't you have to consume nutrients in order to survive, as well--being partially biologically alive...?"

Grabbing hold of the vial, I extended it back to her. My face was still like slate--unmoved in every manor. "It's not that I'm unappreciative...just that...well, who can one trust in such a place...?"

"It's a containment suit." Lia corrected. The mechanical suit was sparse, leaving large amounts of the woman's pale skin bare to the eye beneath wires, tubes, a pelvic and chest base, and large metallic bonds. "Any large amount of stress, physical or mental, is interpreted as an escape attempt and will result in the suit shutting off life support, locking down, or simply giving me a warning shock. That is why I so resemble an android, and in some ways have become one."

The suit beeped as Lia chuckled. "Nutrients come by way of capsules placed into a compartment of the suit, which involves a feeding tube connected to my system. There are other basic functions, but they are a little less appealing for casual conversation."

She took the orange vial and gently placed it back on the counter. "There is no need to apologize. Here there are few you can trust, and none that you should."

"I'm not going to let you do that, Pen." Jarred paused. "The killing everyone thing. Feel free to get of the ship alive and all that. Just tell me where all the cards are, and we can all go our separate ways."

"If I knew where the other cards were, Jarred, I wouldn't be so upset about losing mine." Pen's voice was slightly sharp, "of course you aren't going to let me kill everyone. I've known that the moment I saw you on the ship, but it's not going to stop them from dying, even if I'm not the one to kill them."

"Does that mean you won't send them a copy of the Emerald Haze, telling them it's specs on the Eye?" Jarred smiled, despite the situation.
"No, I'm not going to. Doesn't mean everyone here's going to die. I just need to get those cards, and this whole situation is fixed." Jarred paused. "You don't have to do this, Pen. You can help me get the cards, we can get away from the people who want to kill everyone."

There was complete silence on the other end for a few minutes, before Pendari spoke in a hushed voice. "I will get back to you on that." The connection cut out immediatley.

"I can still talk to you, even if you hang up Pen. There isn't a whole lot of time for indecision here." Jarred's voice sounded in the PA system over Pen, the camera still watching her, since she was not, in fact, in the prison at all, like Jarred was. She was in the opposite of prison, not-prison, while Jarred was in the opposite of non-prison, prison. He was in a cell even, albeit an unlocked one, but she was in even less of a cell than he was, because she wasn't even in prison. Though the whole ship could be a cell, I suppose, since no one could escape, but she was still not in the prison. She was in non-prison.

(*dies laughing* now that's what I call a beautifully literate post.)

"You are going to get me killed, Jarred." Pendari muttered under her breath as she walked down the hallway. She turned to the orb. "Start blasting the cameras, and stop the sound if you can." She kept an eye out of who and what was in the hallway, a deep chill falling down her spine.
