Areli lowered her gaze alittle, until it hit the sand. Her eyes stared at the hot rock bits. She slowed her pace. Was she ignored?! There was no way she had gone without being seen. She stopped in her place, raising her paw alittle and shaking it to get the sand off, then put it down softly and did the same with the other paw. She sighed alittle as she started to walk slowly.

Briseis pounced after Rackna walking in between his two paws. She hadn't met any other cubs before nor this many lions and it set in her usual "shy" self when she wasn't bouncing off the walls. His mane slightly tickled her back as she walked, she lifted her chin to groom the tips as she walked, stumbling a bit. Speacking of which she was caked in dirt and it wouldn't hurt her if she was caught in a storm to clean her off. She blinked not noticing her feet caked in mud nor savana grasses caught her her thick, soft fur.

She grinned at Rellick, "My name is Kish'ya - nice to meet you!" She smiled broadly, yet not fakely - he just had a broad smile - and let out a quiet, almost unheard purr-like sound.
Letting out another soft sound she glanced at Areli and absently pounced in front of her tracks, "Where are you going?" She asked, tilting her head curiously to one side. "My name is Kish'ya - Dont leave!" she bounced slightly, making small clouds of dust around her paws.

Areli looked up at the other cub, and raised her paw, is if she was going to bat the other lion away, but thought against it. "I'm not going anywhere..." she muttered, as she turned away from the small clouds of dust and sand that Kish'ya was forming at her feet. "I'm just walking... slowly, got a problem with that?!" she snapped, her eyes quickly narrowing and her body stiffened, her claws out to hold her place, even if it was in sand.

Kish'ya shrunk back slightly, hurt, "There's no need to get so defensive..." Pouting, she sat herself down. Even if this kit had been rude to her, she couldn't just leave like that. "What's your name?" she asked quietly.

Briseis had seen the cub who was getting rather upset and was getting nasty. She peered over at her from Rackna's leg and paw as if hiding behind him. She gulped hoping that not all of the lions acted like this. She would be dreadfully scared if one of the elder ones did. She watched in awe as the other cub didn't give up talking to her after being so mean. She took this note in her mind, to not back down when being struck.

Areli stared at the other cub for a moment, then sighed, letting her body loosen alittle as she backed up, retracting her claws. "'Names Areli..." she said in a mutter as she hit the ground with her tail and feathers.

Brooke shrugged. "You didn't." She said, shaking her head. "But hide-and-seek... I dunno, how do you play that?"
Perhaps she had played the game a long while ago, and perhaps she hadn't. Either way, the name of 'hide-and-seek' didn't seem to ring a bell. It sounded like you had to hide and seek at the same time, and Brooke didn't know about doing two things at once.
Brooke turned her head as Elli nosed her again, and swiped her tiny tongue against her muzzle. It was an easy way of saying 'thank you' for her. After her mother had run, Brooke had tried hard not to form anything more than an uneasy bond between herself and other creatures. But when a bond with a lioness sprang up out of nowhere, she couldn't do anything about it.

Kish'ya immediately brightened up, grinning once more, "Areli... That's a pretty name!" She was glad to have met someone her own age, even if it had been slightly difficult.

"Whats your name..." she grumbled, trying to be niceer than she normaly was, which wasn't exactly easy, not really anyway.

Smiling, Kish'ya tried ot be as friendly as possible, "My name's Kish'ya," she said, toning herself down a little bit. Being overwhelming wouldn't make her any more comfortable...

Rellick beamed at Kish'ya, the smile reaching over his maw like a sunbreak in the clouds. He watched her trot over to Areli, then turned back to Brooke...
"Well, when you play hide and seek, one person covers their eyes and counts."
He crouched and drew his paws over his eyes. "One Two Three, etc... And the others, all fide a really good hiding place.. And when the Counter is finished, he or she has to find everyone hiding.. Who ever the don't find, or whoever is the last to be found, is the winner... And they get to be the Counter... "
He wagged his tail and cocked his head. "Wanna play? My sister, and Aki and Amirah are still out in the grass somewhere.. And you can meet them... "
Jadera watched Areli and Kish'ya interact, torn between entering like a Princess and entering like a playmate.. She crouched in the grass, tail whipping back and forth, and debated on tackling the new playmates.

'Um, okay.' Brooke agreed, as brightly as she could possibly manage. And it was quite bright, but it was nothing compared to the light that a smile brought to Rellick's face. Rising from her perch sitting in the sheltered space between Elli's forelegs, Brooke padded up to Rellick and prodded him with her paw. 'I'm good at looking for red things, you know.' Her face looked so dead serious - but for the mischievous twinkle dancing in her eyes - that she could very well have been joking and informing him of his impending doom at the same time.

Rellick laughed and batted at her flakes with a paw.
"I'm a red thing.. And I'm great at hiding.. We shall have quite a game!"
Elli shook her head as she watched Rellick's joy break out over him.. He truly was a joyful being. The simplest things made him smile all day.
Rellick danced away from Brooke on nimble paws, shuffling back and forth, his tail whipping about him. "I know you'll just love the game, I hope you'll like it here.. Are you gonna stay? That would be great! We can be friends right? Please say yes!"
Jade ignored her dancing brother, glancing at Brazen before turning back to Areli and Kish'ya. 'They would be great to play with.' Even though she was young, Jadera was fast learning the movements and actions of great hunters and huntresses. Areli's constant awareness and Kish'ya calculating mind were already revealed in how they carefully interacted. 'Hunting practice will be so much more fun now!'

Areli sighed calmly, happy that Kish'ya wasn't so hyper now. "Well, Kish'ya, I guess its nice to meet you..." she said, then felt her stomach grumble. "Aww man!" she complained, bending one paw back against her stomach. "I'm HUNGRY!" she said, saying 'hungry' much louder than anything else. She then got in a pouncing position. "I want to be older so I can go on hunts too, so I can get my OWN food!" she said, then pounced forward, but over Kish'ya, not hitting the other cub. She then landed perfectly on her feet, and stood strait. She tilted her head up as she spoke, "I'm probably going to be the best hunting lioness here!" she said, standing strong.
