Shukoshu softly kissed her head under the covers. "Feel better, love. I'll be in my room." He said proceeding towards his room and entering.

Kanna whimpered to herself and crawled off the cot and crawled to her room, shutting her door and locking it. She lay on the floor of her room covered in her blanket. Her ancestors would be so ashamed of her right now. She was supposed to be the strongest of the Yajuu clan in ten generations and she was on the floor wounded and pained.

Shukoshu sat over some paperwork, staring at the Yajuu file he had. "Kanna-Chan, please, feel better."

After awhile Kanna rummaged through her things and pulled out a bone knife she had made a long time ago. It was still one of her favorites. Spreading herself out she began to make slow and precise cuts to your arms and legs, never crying just enduring. This was penitence for failure, it was how her clan had done things forever, it was ritual. After marring her stomach with the brutal weapon the Yajuu girl put her hand against the wall as a wave of nausea and dizziness washed over her. Not being able to accomplish anything else she collapsed on the floor with they blanket she had brought with her.

Shokusho was now at her door, knocking softly. "Kanna-Chan...please...let me in. I want to be with you. I'm your mate, damn it. Our clans grew up together, and now as the last survivors, isolating ourselves is not something we should do."

Crawling across the floor slowly Kanna unlocked the door before collapsing onto the floor again. "You're so damn annoying sometimes Shukoshu." she muttered into the floor.

He pulled open the door and looked down at her. "My mate is down on the floor. I am supposed to be annoying when that happens."

"Shut up." Kanna muttered. "It's penitence and when we have pups I'll teach them the same thing." Even talking tough she crawled over and hugged her mates leg.

Shukoshu knelt down and softly pet his mate. He then crawled behind her and laid behind her, wrapping his arms around her stomach. If his mate were to sleep on the ground, or lay there, then he shall too.

Kanna smiled a little bit. "Pick me up dearest and put me in my bed." she said quietly. "The silk sheets are more comfortable than the floor."

Shukoshu nodded and kissed her neck before placing her in her bed against the sheets, a hand softly caressing her cheek as he sat on the edge of the bed. "I've scheduled a training session with a friend of mine. You feel up for it?" It would not be for several days though.

Kanna purred gently and placed her hand over her mates. "I don't know. Can I make out with them?" she asked licking her mates fingers gently.

"Of course. He's not that physically strong so I am sure you can at least taste his lips. But do not have sex with him. I don't think they would like his throat being ripped out. Plus, he has his eye on a female as well." His lips softly met hers. "But remember who you belong to."

Purring softly Kanna cuddled where weary body into the boys. "I know who I belong to." she said quietly. The wounded Yajuu tugged on her mates hand slightly. "Sleep here with me tonight?"

Shukoshu nodded. "Of course." He crawled behind her and slumped down, playfully pulling her with him and his arms wrapped around her. His hands softly yet darkly grazed against her beaten body, his cold fingers pressing against her warm flesh as his hands gripped her breasts softly then left her alone. He knew he was teasing her, but teasing her became sort of a nightly ritual for him.
