I used to know a dark angel myself, and then.. There's Merryn, she's a sweetie. There's some nice people here in the underground, it's just... Get's boring after a while, with no one to talk to, I mean.

Kel smiled at Zoe, shaking her head. "No thank you, I cant eat cookies."
Kel grinned as the girl beside her mentioned her new friend. "I met Merryn! She is so sweet. She said her brother is my cousin's boyfriend. Maybe you know Akkhina then?
I saw a dark angel at the coffeeshop too. Merryn and her seemed very close, if their greeting was anything to go by. She was tall and very pretty."

Lacuna's eyes widened. "Akki is my lover's sister!", she said enthused. She frowned at the sudden thought of her old friend and shook her head.
"No the dark angel I'm familiar with isn't from around here I'm afraid.", she said.

Kel giggled and hugged the girl impulsively. "Jak or Po?" she asked, then answered herself before the other girl could speak. "It must be Jak...he's gorgeous! Even if he is my cousin." She giggled again. "Does he still have that hat? A big old top hat?"

Lacuna sighed. "Yes!! I absolutely love that hat!", she said smiling. She looked over at the girl and nodded. "I'm Lacuna", she said, properly introducing herself.

Kel grinned. "I'm Kel...Keladry if you want to be proper. It's nice to meet you. Merryn said something about Jak and the twins living in a bookstore. Would you happen to know the address so I can look them up?"

Kel grinned, digging in her pocket for a notepad and pen. "I guess we'll most likely run into each other again then. Address please?" She held the notepad out to Lacuna with a smile.

Lacuna sighed a bit embarassed.
"Um.. I'm afraid.. I never really noticed or bothered to find out.. I just kind of.. Knew where it was, I'm horrible with directions of any sort as well.. It's a bookstore if that helps any..", she said grabbing the back of her neck.

Kel giggled and slipped the notepad back in her pocket. "It's ok, I'm sure I'll run into them soon enough. I've only been here a day and already I've met two people who are closely aquainted with them."

"Two people?", she asked with a raise brow. "Myself, I'm assuming, and who else?", the words just kind of slipped out of her mouth before she realised she might be coming off a bit strong.
