"So that's why I had the feeling we'd be getting an unexpected visitor..." *Zan spoke up from under my shirt.* "You know, when you said that every day was exciting, I didn't think you meant it. "You know, I'm beginning to think life has become all to exciting. Ah, forget that. I like it this way." I'm going to be dead by the end of the week, aren't I?"

"My brother, last minute as he is. then again, I usually don't have visitors so he just barges in, I didn't even give him a key, he picks the lock. And he really should get more sleep, the guy's gonna do some harm to himself one day." Samshel mutters, under his breath, a mixed expression. "ell it's getting a little late... bed sounds pretty good for all of us."

(later, Melfice was in the basement again, Millenia and Elena were on the two couches downstairs. Yuzuki, on the roof. With the recent split, Samshel was on his window-couch and Sachiel in Menos' seldomly used bed, again sharing a room with you and Xan)

Samshel seemed to be in sort of a daze, remembering somthing, probably. He wasnt sleepy, so he was staring out at the stars through the window that was beside him.

((YAy for flashbacks. >,> Let's take a look at Menos' long-thought-out history!)
He was five, banished from his village. he had been alone for about a week, dressed in a black and red robe. he had made his way into the desert, in a sand storm. He didn't take off his cloak dispite the heat, he had tried that before, the sand cut his skin little by little. one hand shielding his face, tired, thirsty and hungry, he blacked out right after seeing a figure he culdn't exactly make out.

Waking up, he was laying in a sort of shelter, made in a rock face. not exactly on the ground, but it was more like a sort of makeshift matress, on the floor. A young boy, about seven, walked in through the entrance of the little haven. the entrance was sealed off by heavy blankets as a comprimized door. he was carring a small bowl with water in it. The boy placed the water in front of the five-year-old Menos. "Hey, kid. ye awright? Not t' smart, walkin' out there in th' middle of a sandstorm, issint?" ("I had nowhere to go." "A hopeless cause, as some people may say, huh?" The boy smirked. He poked the young Menos on the forehead. "If need be kid, ye can stay 'ere. dun' expect t' be taken on lightly, though. Ye'll havet' do yer part, ye know. All us hopeless kids 'ave gotta stay t'gether." "Really?!" Menos smiled. "And my name's not 'kid', it's Menos." " Awright, Menos. I'm Azazel."

"I owe 'zazel a lot.... even if I worked for years and years I wouldn't be even close to paying him back." Samshel mutters under his breath.
((Well, that was insightful.)) *As much as Eclipse tried, he couldn't sleep. He couldn't even figure out why. Something was wrong. He did a quick teleport spell, silent and fast, completely unnoticed even by others who were awake. ((VIEWPOINT CHANGE)) Aganth hadn't even lie down yet. He hadn't talked, hadn't even moved much for quite a while. Something was off... Something was missing... But what? ((Viewpoint change)) Vlad had recently become almost unnoticed, but that wasn't what was bothering him. There was something in the air... Or maybe something not in the air... ((Viewpoint change again)) Eclipse, now outside, stood for a moment, and listened to the sounds of the night... And he realised why he felt odd. There were none. The night was silent, not a bug, or a restless sleeper, even, to be heard. Something was wrong. What could have caused it? ((Over to Aganth)) He stood there still, barely seeing, barely listening, but he, too, noticed the lack of sound in the restless night. It hadn't been this quiet in hundreds of years... Not since... ((Over to Vlad)) He watched for a moment... Listened... There was nothing... No wind. No life, even, it seemed. There were absolutely no sounds. Something had to be wrong. It was never this quiet.*

Suddenly sweet and slow notes filled the air., Yuzuki who was on the roof, had began playing the xun she wore around her neck (Samshel could hear it, but somthing about the air... it just felt wrong.
*Eclipse switched to anthro dragon and flew up to the roof.* "Shh. Yuzuki, something's wrong. Something's not right. Can't you feel it? Something is about to happen. Something big." ((Aganth)) *This hadn't happened since... He remembered! A demon... But not just any demon... The most vicious and powerful one ever to exist... It had lived stuck in a cave for hundreds of years, trapped inside... Oh no... That thing... It looked exactly like... Why didn't he notice sooner?! He ran outside, knowing that Eclipse was now on the roof, and jumped easily onto the roof. ((Vlad)) Why do I have the feeling that I've been through this before? Something big... Terrible... Something that could destroy the world... And maybe once... It did... That thing Eclipse picked up... What was it?*

*Aganth arrives on the roof with Eclipse and Yuzuki.* "Eclipse... Where did you put that thing we found in the cave?" "It's right..." *He had pulled it out, and it was glowing. not a light glow, but a dark and insidious glow, one that would only come from a source of evil.* "Here... This is it, isn't it? This is what's causing this... feeling in the air..." *Vlad had gotten to the roof and seen the object* "That's the problem, isn't it... We're in trouble." "Yeah... If I remember correctly... The ultimate demon... More powerful than anything most of us have ever encountered. Hopefully one of us is stronger. I remember, before I met Eclipse... He's tried to destroy the world twice... And once, he succeeded." "Oh... crap... He's powerful, then... And I've got his home in my hand. It looks like things are about to get..." *It glowed brighter, and suddenly overwhelmed the area with darkness.* "Oh crap. That can't be good."

Azazel smirks,"That strong, eh? I've wanted to test something out." he unsheathes his sword and waits, after muttering somthing under his breath he sighs then says. "Let's see if this is a success,... Soul eater, Ultimate sacrifice, level one!" ("Awright! Let's fight this thing!"
*Aganth draws Blackwand and Vlad draws his two swords.* "You know, I think we can handle this." *I change to anthro dragon form, but this time I look taller than usual.* "Let's have some fun." *I throw the thing to the ground, and it vanishes. A moment later, a large demon (By large, I mean about one hundred feet tall.) with four arms appears where the object once was. He looks extremely powerful, and he seems to be slowly drawing in the ground around him.* "I think this will be fun." *Aganth morphs to dragon form, and everyone prepares for the battle of a century.*

*Aganth draws Blackwand and Vlad draws his two swords.* "You know, I think we can handle this." *I change to anthro dragon form, but this time I look taller than usual.* "Let's have some fun." *I throw the thing to the ground, and it vanishes. A moment later, a large demon (By large, I mean about one hundred feet tall.) with four arms appears where the object once was. He looks extremely powerful, and he seems to be slowly drawing in the ground around him.* "I think this will be fun." *Aganth morphs to dragon form, and everyone prepares for the battle of a century.*

Azazel is one of the first to rush out. he strikes at it, aiming for the weak spots near it;s legs; the part that is only tendon and muscle at the back of the anlke and foot. he partially disables it, fairly quickly. you notice a light red streem of somthing slowly leaving Azazel's mouth; it looks like blood, but it flows up and into the air, not down, and it would fizzle out and fade shortly after.

Sachiel and Samshel had worked out somthing, talents were split amoung them. Samshel had tried to hold and shoot a bow, but he would freeze and his body would refuse to move correctly when it came to ranged attacks. Sachiel couldn't even try to wield a blade. Though they seemed to be stronger together. Sachiel held the throwing knives, aimin with discreet precision at the monster's eyes. Samshel wasn't too far apart from him, taking a stab at the thing whenever he could, since they were running around it to avoid getting hit.

Yuzuki has a sort of scythe, most likely from her book. She's riding on the huge form of tenko's shoulder. (~
Millenia decides to take things extreme from the very start, flying up high and the two orbs of pure dark, dystrctive energy forming under her hands.

Elena, who's not much of a fighter, is more of the supportive magic type. she keeps casting assist spells, to help with defence, power etc., and lowering the monster's power bit by bit with other kinds of spells, interestingly enough, she's using taught magic and none of her own that she made. (~
Ryudo is helping Azazel out with disabiling it's legs, dodging kicks and hits, and the occasional arrow from Sachiel that came raining down on him. He didn't get how Azazel could do it in practicly one full-on swing, this thing was tough.
*Eclipse flies lightspeed around to it's back and starts rapidly stabbing him, slashing and aiming for his spine. Vlad has jumped up and slashed his stomach, his blades cutting deep and far. Aganth is casting ice spells around it, hurting it while greatly slowing it down. Zan has jumped off of Eclipse and is crawling around the demon's head, slashing and stabbing where he can. The demon seems to be charging something, likely preparing to destroy the area. He seems completely unfazed by the attacks on him.*

Millenia yells down. "Elena! ready yet?!" Elena stops using the supportive magic/. "Everyone, out of the way!" she calls, staff being held carefully in both of her hands.
*Everyone flips out of the way and Eclipse seems to be charging something in his hands. Zan has jumped back onto Eclipse.*
