Kira stepped ono the first pine needles of the forest and quivered. The target was in these woods. Good job Kira, now find her. Kira smirked and jumped to a high tree branch. She jumped to another and another, searching for any signs of the target. Suddenly, she jumped down and landed in the center of a compsite. The remains of a fire lay covere din snow and peices of fish lay on the ground. She laid down exactly where Hitori had that night. Folding her hands behind her head Kira smirked.
"Here kitty, kitty, kitty."

Hitori heard her. She had smelled her coming and should have left, but she couldn't move a muscle. She was too scared. Next to her, Nick finally awoke to the mocking sound of Kira's voice. He ran down to the library and began murmuring to himself. He ran about, panicky and mumbling while Hitori simply sat in the bed, numbly holding the candy cane in one hand. Kira would find this place, there was no doubt about it. Hitori couldn't let Kira get her hands on Nick. She would rather die than lead that abomination into this haven.
Standing up as Nick ran about, not seeming to notice her, Hitori put her sunglasses back on and grabbed her cloak. She walked to the door, every step she grew more and more see-through as her camo mechanism switched on. With one last yearning look at Nick, she flitted out the door.

Hitori ran as the cold, frozen tree branches whipped across her face. The damn snow was telling that thing chasing her exactly where she was. Behind her Kira was mocking her and laughing. She knew that Hitori couldn't outrun her forever.
Hitori jumped high into the air, over the highest pine tree and fell back down to earth, landing on a high up tree branch. She looked below as Kira, she snow white neko appeared looking around and trying to sniff Hitori out. A second later, the neko was gone and Hitori breathed a sigh of relief.

"what was that!" nick looked up to the exit of the tree and then looked towerds hitori's bed. it was empty and foot pritns led out into the snow. the were light barley even makeing marks in the ground or snow, she was probably sneaking. Nick reached into his pile of objects and pulled out a large quarterstaff. exactly 10 feet in length, made of hardend yew wood, it was bendable to a point and it was his "elemental wepon" he made when he was an apprentice.He jumped out of the tree and searched and followed the the tracks as best he chould into the forest...

Nick heard strugle deeper into the woods. the smell of another wafted in the air. insted of nicks hunting crouch, nick sprinted at full pace towerds the sounds. the foot prints bacame more clear, and anothers chould be seen. nick prepared his staff for what he might have to do. he didnt iek to hurt others but he had to sometimes.He ran deeper int othe woods in search of Hitori.....

Nick dropped to the ground covering his head in fear and shoock. the large flying bird flew off into the sky and hanging from it was a ladder, and 2 figures. one was anotehr neko with white fur, to far away for detail. and in her arms was the limp Hitori.Nick watched as they flew away and he held his staff liek a spear and hurled it at the shape while it was still near, if you call it near. He hurled the staff towerds the metal bird hopeig nto cut the ladder down.......
the staff missed the ladder only glanceign it. one line whould snap if the weight was still there after about an hour, but it wasnt enough. anger came into Nicks calm state of mind. flames of hatred flew in his eyes, the tree he stood apon twisted in rage and the root snapped out of the ground and flailed with the rage in Nicks heart. Nick pointed to the large metal bird and focused on it with all his might. the forest took to life and reached for the jet, trees streting and raising there gnareld wooden branchs towerds it trying to snap at it, the grass being able to do little passed on the word to kill on sight.... if that plane ever came close enough to a plant... it whoudnt last long.Nick dropped from the tree and his anger boiled inside his heart, as tears came to his eyes and he fell to his hands and knees weeping over hsi friend he choudnt reach...

Nick started walking back to the Tree so he chould prepare to leave. for him it was like being in a dream he walked slowly, just looking ahead no emotion on his fac e at all...... Hewas dead to the world. while on his way home he stumbbled apon a torn open stuffed toy bear. claw marks raked across its belly and the stuffing was apon the ground.Nick picked it up and held the bear to his wet cheek. it smelled of Hitori, and nick held it in his arms and climbs up to the top of his home and looked out over the horizon towerds where he last saw Hitori. Nick roared with anger and despair. the ground trembled and the birds awoke from there nest to fly away in fear. the roar carried for miles past citys and homes, trees and lakes. Nick had decided. it was time to go to war."the plants whill not stop attacking for days i might as well use is to find them." Nick jumped into his tree and grabbed hes tools. a long spear, and a thorn staff(which is like a quarterstaff with metal thorns stuck all around the ends.) and he ran out into the forest of rage and hate he created.....
