Gunnar heard something coming up on the cave, no a group of somethings. He sat up and tried to look out the entrance to get a view on them. He then heard voices and saw glimpses of the felines through the dark. He had been thinking where he was heading, and now here was that person who had killed Queback. He took it as a sign that perhaps he was supposed to follow the cat around to make sure he didn't kill anyone else who shouldn't be killed.
Gunnar stood up and headed to the entrance of the cave to meet up with the group.

As if following an invisible path, Neko made his way effortlessly through the underbrush that covered the forest floor. The group continued on for some time in silence keeping a look out for any possible dangers. Ears perked, Neko stopped as if he had heard something. Looking around in the darkness he caught a familiar scent and let out a groan. “Damnit, everyone move!”
Neko was almost tempted to double back and take a different more round about way, but it was already too late. Gunnar had appeared as if from no where and had spotted them all. Heaving a frustrated sigh Neko looked to Yuki. “Seriously, I may have to strangle a tiny animal to make me feel better about this moment.”
Hesitation aside, Mitsu did as she usually did and obediently followed when Neko told her to come. It was, as if she was programmed to come when commanded like a common domestic dog. However, she stayed near the back of the group still wondering if it would be better for her to go or not. She pondered on this thought for quit some time until the group suddenly stopped and she nearly ran into the person ahead of her. Glancing around to see what had caused this, Mitsu spotted the bovine from the night before.

As they were walking, Riyo also caught the scent on the wind. Neko didn't need to tell her, she knew. And she started rushing.
Of course, that was until it was too late. Her ears went back against her head as she spotted the large beast. "Nyuh." She mumbled out and stared, eyes narrowing. If she needed to, she'd protect her new 'friends'. She didn't know exactly what conflict the bull had with the group, but it didn't matter. These people had been nice to her. And that was the only reason she needed to be on their side.

Awkward moment, without a doubt. Yuki went tense when Gunnar appeared, instinctively checking nearby for Hitsu to be sure she wouldn't be in harm's way. Meanwhile, Hitsu seemed to hide behind him in a vain suggestion of 'if I don't see him he can't see me.'
Yuki knew Neko was trying to make jokes, and if the last several hours would have been typical he might have chuckled. Not right now, however. He wanted to get the hell out of this forest. The bull was calm, or so Yuki concluded. Whatever his business was, the most important thing was to get to safety. "Just keep moving." He said, casting a nervous glance to Gunnar as they passed, already with the assumption that he would follow.

Gunnar gazed around at their faces and the thickening hostile air. He couldn't grasp why they were all so weary of him, never was the brightest. "I'm not gonna hurt you, never was gonna, 'cept him." Gunnar said pointing a thumb at Neko. "So don't be so...freaked out." He said crossing his arms obviously not the best at trying to explain situations.

Wasting no time, Neko nodded to Yuki and continued on. This was turning out to be a pleasant day already. He knew well enough the bull would follow to his dismay, but there wasn’t much he could do at this point.
Through the forest they continued to walk trudging through the thick underbrush as they went. They met little difficulty in their journey beyond a field of thorns here and there or a maddening tangle of trees that were almost impossible to pass. But after about five hours of walking they made it to the riverside, though they were still no where close to the village that they had spoken of nor close to leaving Yasha’s forest. But now that they were at the river it would be much easier to follow it to the town since it lay just beside it.
“Alright, let’s take a rest here.” Neko sat himself down, ready to relax a little. Not that the walking had worn him out, he had done worse, but the general company had him at his wits end.
Relieved to hear the word rest, Mitsu let out a joyful sigh. Normally she wouldn’t have had this much trouble going through the forest, but since the pace was set high and the direction was more set in a straight line it had worn her out to keep up. Thirsty, Mitsu made her way to the riverside to get a drink of water. Sniffing around curiously she looked over a short drop into the deep riverbed below.

Riyo didn't mind the thorns and thick forests they walked through. It was, as previously stated, something she was used to. Nicks and cuts on her legs didn't bother her that much anymore. There were a few ways through the obstacles that she knew of, but she wasn't exactly sure how to voice that fact to her companions.
And.. She was a little distracted by the bull that was following close behind. He.. Seemed calm. But the image of him punching Neko in the gut had burned into her mind. She wasn't about to drop her guard.
Either way, she relaxed a little when everyone began parking themselves next to the river. Oh, what a purrfect opportunity! She automatically lost all interest in the beast that had been following her and ran over to the river with a big smile. Her tail wagged happily in the air as she bent over next to the waters edge. She took a large sniff of the water and let out a sigh. It was so fresh! ... But something was weird. Her head tilted a little. Something smelled... Fishy. Ooooh, maybe there was a really big fish! If there was, she was gonna catch it!
"M'nyu!" She shouted as she took about 5 minutes to take off the shirt Neko had given her. It was a struggle at first, but she remembered the technique Hitsu had used to put it on and reversed that. When she finally got it off, the shirt went flying, and Riyo went diving into the river. Her head popped back out after 2 minutes, shaking a little from the cold but otherwise looking very satisfied. "Nyuuuuuuuu.~" She sighed out, then started looking down at the water.

Thank goodness, a spot to rest. Hitsu wasn't used to walking so much, and she took no time depositing herself on the ground once everyone had slowed enough for her to do so. She looked from one person to the next, lingering on Gunnar for the longest. Was he really nothing to worry about? He certainly looked big and scary...
Cautiously, Yuki approached the bank. It wasn't hard to tell that he in no way shared in Riyo's enthusiasm. In fact, he appeared nervous when the girl dove in, and lingered staring at the water until she surfaced again. He gave a small sigh, as though he'd begun to wonder if she was alright. The water was murky, he couldn't see the bottom. The current? He wasn't about to test it himself, but Riyo seemed fine now. Deciding to brave a closer look, he called out to his sister. "Come over here, Hitsu."
"I don't want to." She replied immediately, but once he'd gestured her toward him she approached anyway.
"I won't let you fall." He assured her, leaning foreword just enough to look at the muddy bank below them before he stooped down lower to the ground. "Just mind the mud..." He pointed out a steep, slippery trail down one side of the bank. "See there? Otters make those. They like to slide down through the mud and into the water." As he explained, he trailed one arm down closer to the water, in the direction that the mud slide went.

Here fishy fishy fishy....
Her sight was limited in this murky water, But she was still able to make out the shine of scales against the light of the surface. And the water felt great after all the walking she had to do in order to find a place so she could hunt and feed. She had no idea where this forest was or how to get out.
With fast reflexes, she suddenly sped forward, her small claws outstretched in hopes of grabbing her prey. That fish didn't even know what hit it!
Success! She grinned. And suddenly smacked head first into a solid mass of mud that she had failied to noticed before. She turned around, and became even more covered in this gooey mess, her eyesight becoming even more limited. That was when she saw something against the surface, Something moving....Was it an eel?
Her stomach grumbled. She hadn't eaten in ages, and a eel would make a great meal. Without much thought she used the bottom of the river as a catapult, finally getting out of the mud, and fired towards the eel looking thing. And since eels were normally larger then fish, she would have to use some "extra" weapons.
As she bit into the object, she could tell something was definitely wrong. Fish tasted...fishy... This definitely wasn't a fish. But even before she could think she felt a surge of pain through her nose and forehead as something impacted hard against it.
Confused and half blind she swam away from whatever had attacked and, in the process got entangled in the muddy debris again. dammit to hell what is with all this crap?! Half blinded she felt her way around the area until she felt her webbed hand entering out of the water, and was able to yank her body onto the bank. She could tell that the mud clung to her body even as she exited, but first things first, she needed to find out what had hit her.
However, she had no idea that there was already others there too....

"NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Riyo screamed as she was bitten by something LARGE. As a response to being bitten, Riyo tried to force whatever had just bitten her away with her hands, pushing as best as she could. NOW she was in panic. That was most definitely not a fish she had just felt. she swam over to the edge of the water as quickly as she could and tried to claw her way up the bank, but it was just a little muddy.
"M'nyuu!" She cried as she slid back down and into the water, momentarily forgetting how to swim due to her sheer panic.

What had once been a calm moment quickly went to hell. Riyo screamed. Hitsu screamed. Something came up out of the water, and Yuki fell back on his rear with a startled cry of his own and scrambled backward a couple of feet. "What the hell is that!?" He barked, apparently to himself as Hitsu made a beeline for somewhere other than near the water.

With all the screaming, the mud monster, and everything that had happened so far, Mitsu didn’t know what to think. For a moment she just sat on the bank as if in shock, staring at the muddy being who had emerged from the river. Once her senses started to kick in her eyes dilated as she jumped back and made a mad dash for cover in the woods. Once to what she had deemed as safety she dived behind a bush and looked back over it to make sure she hadn’t been followed. Her fellow companions now tiny specs in the distance through the trees.
Neko didn’t react much to the scream but instead turned his attention to the murky being pulling themselves up on shore. Cocking his head to the side he didn’t know what to make of this….thing? His attention was so focused on what was going on and the now screaming people that he didn’t notice Mitsu running off into the woods.

What.In.Gods.Name.Was.Going.On
As soon as she had manged to pull herself out of the water her ears were assaulted with screaming and shouting. She looked around in a blind stupor wondering who it was, who was there, and who was trying to kill who. She didn't realize the people were screaming at her.
A turn of her head, and her ears picked up the sound of splashing not far away. Splashing coming from someone who seemed in trouble, or even worse, drowning.
Trying to get her bearings she crawled towards the splashing sounds, feeling her way along the bank side until she was sure the person was just in front of her. Reaching out towards the sound, she made a grab at the person and tried to haul them out of the water.

At first her hands had grabbed nothing but water when she leaned out further her hands. She had been sure this person was here, and now there was no splashing sound at all. Did that mean…
In a panic she laid down on the edge of the bank, half submerging her head in order to reach out as far as possible. Finally her hands grabbed onto something and immediately retracted, allowing her to stand pull it further onto the bank, some of the mud that cover her coming off as it got washed away. “I GOT IT!” she called out thinking she had saved someone life, but frowned as she felt a familiar tingling flow through her hands.
For it just so happened that the splashing sounds had come from an electric eel that had been tangled up in the mud surrounding the bank. Said animal looked at the freaky monster that grabbed it and did only what it thought was natural.
The area seemed to light up for a few seconds while a few extra volts fired through her body, and once the creature was dropped she stood for a few seconds before collapsing in a dead faint.
(( I posted again so that you guys can go on ahead and I wont end up making you wait. Just assume my char is passed out for a while))

"The hell?" Gunnar said confused as the chaos ensued around them. The bull watched as Hitsu and Mitsu took off towards the forest. His attention then turned towards the splashing and flailing in the water where Riyo was apparently in distress and a limp body near the bank of the river.
The bull knelt over the edge of the water and reached into the river grabbing ahold of Poke with one hand and Riyo with the other and yanking them out of the water and set them down on dry land.
