She looked over at him and shook her head. "H-He could have gone to a friend's house... B-But I don't know where they live..."

Rowan waved at the two people with a little smile. Then he looked up at Constantine. Did he know the truth about Rowan not being an elf? His face said no, but the faery wasn't totally sure. He smiled back and followed Constantine gesture down the hall.

I will do whatever you wish of me...
Constantine opened one of the room's and said,"This is where we're going to stay for the night. I hope you don't mind sharing a room with me and Richard."
He gave a somewhat shy smile and sat down on the floor, laying down on his back and staring at the ceiling. "Anyways, I'm going to be sleeping on the floor and if you want, I'm sure Richard'll let you have the bed."

"But, if no one worries about you, then no one would care about you though." He said as he looked back to the house to see what was going on. "We can look for you brother as well though." He said as he looked back to her.

Charity shook her head and said,"No... They still care... But, I don't want them to worry anyways because it makes me feel bad..."
She looked out at the house as her father was carried out by the ambulance workers. Shuddering, she looked down at the grass and murmured,"I don't want to move yet..."

"If you don't want to move yet, we can wait." He said as he still watched the house for anything that could be possibly threatening to them. "I never had anyone worry about me though, so I don't really know what it is like."

Charity gave him a small smile and said,"It's nice to know that they care enough to worry... But I still always end up feeling bad about making them worry..."
She sat up a bit and looked over at him. "Though... I was worried that Dad might have shot you..."

"But, you shouldn't feel bad about it though, it is human nature to worry about some one they care about." He said before he heard the second part of what she said. "But, why would you worry about me? You hardly even know me though." Valk said before looking back towards her.

"Alright." Rowan muttered, taking off his jacket. He sat on the bed. "Thank you, very much." He said quietly. "You've shown more kindness to me than any human I've met. And you're not human." He sighed, "I can't explain how strange that is." The old stories were true.

She sighed and leaned against him and said,"But, I worried nonetheless."

He stretched and yawned as he stared at the ceiling some more. "So Rowan, what's an elf doing in St. Augustine? Normally, not many docile creatures come to this town."

Valk had stopped talking for a moment as he was surprised that she said that. "I do like you too, but I barely know you." He said as he looked back to her. "But, what does your father do to those that you invite to your house?" He asked trying to figure out more about her.

Charity shook a bit at the memory. "My first friend was hit pretty hard... After that, nobody wanted to be my friend because they were all afraid of my Dad."
She sighed and murmured,"Dad nearly beat the hell out of Constantine, because he didn't want to fight back against Dad... He didn't want me to see..."

"So, they where beaten by your father?" He asked rhetorically. "Why didn't they defend them selves though?" Then thinking a bit before talking again. "You seem to talk about your brother a lot. Is he your only brother?" He asked.
