dancingsaxes sydneyscivit dancingsaxes Hello! my name is Manda. I'm a HUGE band nerd. I hail from Georgia Southern University where I'm in the Alto Saxophone section of Southern Pride Marching Band! WOOT WOOT! I"m located here ins Statesboro, no onese ever heard of it its near Savannah. And I cut my marching band teeth on Parkview High school marching band. AWESOME! LoL. But lets see. I loved band although my football team won too much so there was never any normal winter breaks...-_-' what a shame. But it was grand. Oh PHS is in Lilburn another no name town, near the big rock Stone MOuntain. I'm also involved in Tau Beta Sigma, the The Band Honorary and Service Soritory, everyone should join, or our Borthers Kappa Kappa Psi!! (BTW KKY was in Drumline...) But yea I'm so glad to find other bandies. peace yo! I go to North Carolina Central University and I'm in TBS too. When did you cross? first Semester of my freshman yea The Phi Class of Fall 2004 Oh ok, I crossed right after you did then, lol. In Spring 2004. Were there a lot of people on your line?

OH. There will be an event in Murfreesburo, at the college of MTSU (Middle Tennessee State University). It's called "Masters of the Summer Music Games" and the nation's top Drum Corps. will be there, July 29! Homigawsh, I'm going! I am going crazy now that summer has hit. I just visited my school's site and found out my symphony was accepted to play at the 2006 Georgia Music Educator's Conference. And then that the symphony director arranged the commision of a new work and we get to play its premier at the conference. My friend's in orchestra just have to ask to be in the symphony, but band kids have to try out, which I think is unfair. I am going to step up practice from one hour a day to two hours a day! I can't wait till try-outs.

I feel really lonely. I only saw one other person from Oklahoma. I'm from Choctaw, Ok. I will be going to the High School next year, being at the bottom of the totem pole as a sophmore. sweatdrop

I'm in Tampa, FL... I don't see many other people from Florida here... I go to Freedom High School. We're the Marching Patriots! But what I've always wondered is, when Marching Season ends, are we still the Marching Patriots? Shouldn't we be the Sitting Patriots during Concert, or something?
