Jackie stared into the direction of the increases aura.
Her ears twitched back and forth as she stood up,
wiping away the last of her tears.
The others had already stained her cheeks.
She sighed heavily as she sniffed the air and her eyes widened a bit.
"Crow escaped...and so did...another..." She said softly as she glanced back to the other two.
"Should we go find them?" She asked questioningly as she gave them a confused but pleading stare,
as if telling them that she wanted to go from her very soul.

Strobe, who felt guilty about leaving Crow in the first place, nodded in agreement.
"my vote's in. Crow needs our help. What do you say, Kioko?" He asked, turning to the magic-user.

Kioko had finally warmed her body enough to put her cloak back on, the dry warm clothing should do the rest...
She listened intently to the others, and more importantly focused on the ki energies of the others...
"yea, i think we should go, we have a new experiment friend who we dont know what its capable of and crow is just to injured to take another beating like he did.." kioko said smmiling at the two and looked at the safe that they had seen, everything was taken, except for the laptop, it was for the best afterall...
"once we retrieve them, we'll have to make it top priority to get to town and blend in for the time being...you know, get our powers controlled well enough..." She said heading off in the direction just a little bit...

being this close to the man, he could smell the blood from his open wounds. his claws slid back into their sheaths. "your hurt, does that mean you are one of us?" the poor kid was still scared out of his mind, but under all his fur there was a caring heart, and if this person needed help, he would certainly help him. just as long as said person didnt try to hurt him.

Strobe nodded. It was te best tactical solution, to lay low for a while. Also, the company would never expect to find it's well trained experiments hiding so close to the base, which, on it's own, had multiple tactical advantages.
"I agree. Laying low is the best solution." He said, starting off after Kioko.

Crow just continued staring at him and smiled. He stood up slowly and extended a hand to the boy. His question confirmed his suspicions, the creature was like the rest of them, he was sure that the more of them that stuck together the better off they'd be.

Max took the strangers hand and stood up, being careful not to reveal the right side of his face. then he fixed his hair the way he preferred it, covering the right side of his face. "im Max, Max Tate." he said to the stranger, trying his hardest to get him to speak.

Crow smiled for a moment, but then realized what was going on with the moments of silence, he wondered how to explain. He figured it would work just as well as the last time, so he demonstrated. "Hyarrrrrr..." He made the noise, but no words, then shrugged, hopefully conveying his lack of ability to speak.

Jackie followed behind them silently. She couldn't shake of a feeling of a lost memory being retrieved after many years as she sniffed the air a few moments ago.
"Hmmm..." She mumbled to herself as she looked ahead of her, watching them closely. 'Maybe I should tell them...'
She thought as she sighed slightly before shaking it off and paying attention to their surroundings, hoping that they were not being followed or watched by others. Her ears flicked back and forth as if trying to find something.
But when nothing was found, she felt reassured and safe that she was in this group of close-knit experiments. Though they were different and had different qualities to bring to the table, they all shared a common goal...

he blushed, and scratched behind his left ear, embarrassed. i tried to get him to do something he couldnt do, i bet hes embarrassed too he thought to himself. he looked into crows eyes apologetically, and something strange happened. "your name is crow, isnt it?"

Strobe was thinking as he walked, then stopped.
"Wait, Kioko, did you say that there was another experiment there?" He asked, slightly worried. A new experiment, they didn't know what it was capable of-- or who it worked for.

She had no idea what was going, all she could here was a bunch of commotion going on outside of the room that she was caged in. Elizabeth just sat there, in the corner of her cage. No one was in the room, not even the usual people who fed her, or observed her. She was lonely, being here for a few days. She was also hungry, not being fed since yesterday.

Crow smiled back with a bright smile and scratched behind his own head. The what happened next shocked him, the correct guess at his name took him a moment to process just how strange it was. His eyes widened for a moment and he leaned back, a bit stunned. He then simply chuckled and smiled once again, throwing forward a thumbs up.

"you think that was wierd, you should have been on my end of that exchange. i think i, i think i read your mind. i wonder if i can do it again." he looked deeply into crow's eyes, as he did before. he seemed distant for a moment, then he came back. "he he, this could be dangerous if i can do it to the rest of our group. so, are they going to meet up with us, or do we have to find them?" he had not previously known there were others, not until he looked into crow's mind a second time.
