She grinned and looked back at her father, sticking her tongue out as she did so. "Hey, I have..."Puffing up like a pompus person might. "...responbilities so there. " She peered around him at the 'girl' and quirked an eyebrow as she turned back to her father.
"New addition?" She smiled warmly at the girl, offering her a hand. "Hello, I'm Tellus, his daughter. Welcome to the family. Don't worry, we collect people like most collect coins, don't we, papa?"

Anthy smiled back at the girl and slowly took her hand shakeing it abit
"Its a pleasure to meet you, my name is Anthy and I;m your fathers... pet"
She tilted her head abit blushing lightly

*Enki blushes just a bit as well to his daughter, though not knowing why, she's been in worse situations*
Anthy was trapped ina cage in a pet/slave show... I rescued her and let her stay here, sinc it's better then what she's ever had before... the last time I saved her, I let her free... the slave trappers just caught up to her

"That's horrible!", Tellus gasped. "Papa is a good egg...err..." She chuckled and looked at her father. "..well, he's a good person anyways." She peered a little closer at her father, one eyebrow quirking.
"Are you blushing, papa? I think you are..." That just amused her to no end, but eventually she turned her attention back to Anthy."Forgive my rudeness, Anthy. It's just odd to see my father so discomforted. If there is anything I can do to help make you more comfortable, you have but to ask."

Anthy cheeks turned just abir more pink as she loked abit down for a moment leting some of her hair cover her cheeks... than she looked back at Enki and a small girl bowing her head abit to her she smiled
"Thank you miss, I will surly remeber that"

*Enki regains his composure shortly afterwords and reaches down, ruffling Tellus's hair, kissing her cheek*
Oh no... your father, the "god," may actually be like the humans he's rying to be!
*He says in a sarcastic manner before wrapping an arm gently around Anthy, pulling the shy girl close to him*
Well... you know what would make me more comfortable? Breakfast. I was actually about to go teach Anthy how to make some things. Wanna help me out with that, Tellus? Gaea knows you're better at cooking then I am

Tellus laughed, blushing like a schoolgirl at the ruffling of her hair, as if she was a five year old, and not 17. "Well, you tend to have a god sized appetite, Papa, that's for sure." She started towards the kitchen, waving for both of them to follow her.
"Knowing you, you'd teach her how to make burnt toast." She looked over her shoulder at Anthy and smiled. "If Papa used this kitchen even once before he met my mother, I'd be surprised. Even after she left him, she made sure this place was well stocked. Wouldn't want our resident water god to starve."
Her arms spread wide as she took in the kitchen, "Now this place is home...Alright, Anthy, what would you like to learn how to cook for this plebian Master of yours?"

Anthy giggled softly at the coments a small girl made, she walked slowly after her and looked once in a while at Enki, he seemed happy. Her eyes were shining, it was a second nice person she met in this place. Slwly steping into the kitchen she looked around, she had never seen something like that.
"Well I;m not sure miss, I'm not used to eating alot so I don't know many things really" She looked at the girl and blinked her eyes few times.
"I was just thinking about makeing some toast or something like that"

*Enki can't help but laugh a bit at the banter between his daughter and his pet, but frowns a bit at the mention of Faeriun. He shakes off the feelings brought on by the VERY recent visit of her and his - who is appearently his - son. He then leans against a wall and watches, knowing that now that he has Anthy with him, he'll never need to cook again*

Tellus caught the shift from Enki and turned around, giving him a weak smile. Then she focused on Anthy. "Well, toast is okay...but a little dry. How about I show you how to make french toast, okay?"
She began hunting around the kitchen for all the things she needed, and returned with them. "Now, normally, I'd prefer to use olive oil, since it's healthier for you and all, but eggs are one thing that can get too runny if too much liquid is added." She turned on the stove, and sprayed the pan with the cooking spray. She then took several eggs, showed Anthy how to break them without breaking shell into the eggs, then whisked them with a little bit of milk, orange juice, vanilla, and cinnamon.
"Now take your bread." She let Anthy pick out what kind of bread she wanted to use. "Dip it in the egg mixture till it's coated, then put it in the hot pan." Once that was done, she'd brown the first one on both sides before sliding it onto a plate.
"Your turn."

ANthy looked at the girl and took a deep breath moveing clsoer to try her own french toast ... she bit her lower lip abit concetrating and started everything, trying her best... Her toast were not as good looking as the girls but she was happy with waht she did...
"Well I hope it tasts better then looks" she giggled and looked at the girl and Enki smileing abit

Tellus smiled and nodded. "You just needed to turn it a little sooner. It looks fine." She handed the girl another peice of bread, "Now do a few more and we have breakfast."

Anthy smilied and lsited to the girl... she made few more of the toasts and smiled at herself thinking it wasn't that hard. First time someone spand some time to show her what and how do do something. Happuness was all she could feel at the moment. Finisheing the few last bit she placed everything on the plate and turned around smileing at Enki and his daughter.
"Well I hope they are good"
She tilted her head abit

*Enki smiles softly as he turns and opens the door into the main ballroom, holding it open for the two girls*
Shall we eat at one of the main tables, my dears?
*He then smiles back to the lovely forms of both his daughter and his pet, glad to have such helpers around... cause Gaea knows he could never cook like Tellus can*
