aki glowered at her. "get out. you should know better. i won't fall for your disgusting tricks." he walked up to her until he was so close to her that he could feel her breath on his throat, and glared down at her with such a death glare that it seemed the air stiffened in fear itself. slowly, he raised his arm, and pointed towards the shattered door. "did you hear me?" he asked, his voice dangerously soft and low. "i said, get out."

Turning around, she sighed, and pecked Tait on the lips, causing him to tense up. "Remember what we talked about...Later." She said, before hopping off the bed and skipping reluctantly from the room.
Staying as silent as possible, Tait kept his eyes glued to the wall, his head to the right...Great......He thought, a pit of despair carving into his chest.

It had almost been 10 minutes and Aki wasn't back yet. Sure it took 2 minutes to get the dorms but what if some thing happened.
Walking up to his teacher, James asked if he could use the restroom. The teacher nodded and the senior flew out the door.
It only took him 30 seconds to reach Aki's room, racing as fast as he could. He burst through the door, panting heavily.

"was that real?!" asked aki as soon as she was out of sight. "tell me!" he leaned forward, one knee on the bed, his hand on tait's shoulder in his seriousity. "was it?! tell me it wasn't, tait!" he could hear footsteps pounding down the hall; probably james coming to make sure he was okay.

Something welled in Tait's chest.
'If I don't get you, I'll just go after Aki....'
Shutting his eyes, he buried his face half in the pillow. "Of course it was!" He said in an angry voice. His eyes were burning with frustration, and with a single movement he threw Aki's hands from his shoulders, ignoring the pain it caused him. "She asked me to be her boyfriend!" He said loudly. "I'm HAPPY! So just...Just leave us alone!" He yelled, tears coming down his dirty, bloody face. He didn't exactly look like the girl he loved had asked him out, and he definitely didn't look happy, but his face dared Aki to argue.

as aki stared at him, his face softened. "no... if i know kaoru... you had no choice but to say that. i dont know what she's using against you... but... you gotta stick your chin out, tait. don't let her scare you or push you around. you're in control of your own life and you're in control of how you react." he reached out and pulled tait up and into a tight embrace. the footsteps were almost here now, but that was okay. it's not like anything major was going to happen...

Looking away, he said..."I can't. If I say anything to her she'll....." Looking straight ahead, which just happened to be at his shirt fabric really, he sighed. "Forget it."
He seemed more mature suddenly, and calmer than he had ever been since the two had met.
