Sunray Tristram He turned back to her suddenly. "Opheliah...I won't lie. You're a damn sexy girl and I'm sure...no, I -know- that he couldn't have been the only one to ever look at you." He wanted to grab her, shake her...do something to comfort her. "Don't ever be grateful because that guy...all guys like that...is a b*****d and he deserves what's coming to him. I'll kill him myself if I could..." He growled to himself, knowing that he was pushing it too far. A girl being forced into something was bad...but a girl who just accepted it because she knew nothing else made his heart shatter.
"Saber . . ."
She blinked, slowly, as if coming out of a trance, then frowned, yelling back at him,
"You don't know what it's like, you have no idea. To go through that and have your own family say, 'yes, dear, that's horrible, but he's one, so lets not talk about it'! You don't know what it's like to feel so dependant on someone! You don't know what it feels like to need someone who hurts you! And by gods, you will not kill him, because that job is RESERVED FOR ME!"
She panted, slowly, after yelling, tears pricking her eyes, then sa back on her hands, closing her eyes and gritting her teeth.

Po, his back to the stairs, hadnt noticed the other two. At Canti's squeak, he scooped her up in his arms, his lips plundering hers as he turned to the stairs.
Jak flushed, his neck and ears burning. "I didnt mean it like that..."
The agony in his voice clear he grabbed Suru's arm."Oh god...."

So bad he wanted to retort, to tell her that dispite never being there, he had seen her situation so many times that he had lost count. He himself would never do such a thing to a girl...but he'd never had it happen to him. But he kept his mouth shut. He had let his temper take over for those few short moments and he knew that was a mistake. "You're right... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said anything about it. It wasn't my place..." His voice didn't hint at any anger except for the anger he felt for himself.

Canti squeaked again and squirmed in his arms, trying to get loose before it was too late.
Unfortunately, she didn't make it. Suru groaned, agonized, just wanting to get away. He jerked his arm back and, losing his balance, fell backwards with a shout, into Cantique and Po.
((Oh, my gods, Kesh, this is going to be SUCH a mess. I LOVE IT!))

Po stumbled, falling to the floor, a nearly naked Canti still in his arms
Jak, trying to stop Suru from falling, stumbled into the three of them
"Po? Canti??? ohhh...s**t..." He had a pretty good idea what the two of them had been up to, and it wasnt going to be pleasant

Lacuna raised a brow and walked up the stairs to see what was going on. She starred a bit confused and looked at them all. Canti was half naked along with Po and there Jak and Suru layed with them, both brightly flushed.
"What in the hell.."

Hearing her voice made his heart ache. Yeah, he had really pushed it too far. Slowly, he glanced back at her. He wanted to comfort her...but her honestly didn't know how. He was much better at beating people up...not comforting them. "Opheliah..." Sighing slightly, he turned then reached over slowly to lift her chin gently so that he could see her face. "I'm very sorry... I didn't mean to press and make you upset... If there's anything I could do..."

Canti curled into Po to reduce the impact of the fall, but Suru still fell flat on his back over them. He jumped up, quickly, and stood over them, his mouth agape.
"What . . . in . . . . the . . . . . ******** style="color: darkblue">Canti sat up, quickly, wrapping her arms around her chest, looking about to cry.
"Suru, this is not NEARLY as bad as it looks-"
"I can't take this now."
He turned away from them, trying to make it back down the stairs, then noticed Lacuna had arrived as well, letting out a sharp, hysterical laugh.
"I can't take this now. Can't handle this. Not now."

Lacuna stood like stone, unable to move, just watching all of them in shock, not understanding what was going on at all.. She grabbed her forehead and closed her eyes tightly trying to think.
"What the ********.. is going ON!?!", she screamed at everyone quite frusterated.

Jak got up, gave Po a look that said there would be a long conversation in the near future, and followed after Suru. "Suru please...."
Stunned at the sound of Lacuna's screaming, he stopped, an anguished look in his eyes, he turned to her.
Po, bright with embarrassment, held Canti close, shielding her from the others eyes. He scooped her up, dropped a kiss on her nose, and carried her back to her room.

"WHAT?! WHAT DO YOU TO WANT FROM ME?!" Mitsuru shouted from the foot of the stairs.
"Jak, Lacuna, go on, GO. Go fight, or drink coffee or make babies, or whatever the hell you''re going to do! If not, just tell me what the ******** you want from me, so I can DO IT!"
He punctuated his last words with a punch to the wall that left a deep dent in the wood siding.
Up in her room, Cant heard the screaming downstairs, laying in Po''s arms, and cried.
"He''s going to hate me, he''s going to kill me. Po, what am I going to do?! What were we think, what am I going to do?"
She curled into his arms, sobbing, scared and humilliated.

When she fell against him and cried, Saber sat there for a moment stunned. Hesitantly, he started to put his arms around her. Whenever his sister had gotten upset over something, she would go to him and this was the kind of scene it turned out to be. He would wrap his arms around her and tell her it was ok. But the girl against him was definitely not his sister...and he wasn't sure if doing the same would be ok. Deciding that he could stand being slapped or whatever, Saber put his arms fully around her and just held her there. He didn't say anything, however, just letting her get it out of her system. I'm sorry about this... for bringing this up...for making you re-live the pain...
