"Wai- Hey!" Ochiro yelled after Ariko. But it was too late, she'd already dashed off. The demon growled in irritation to himself and knelt down, melding into the shadows formed by the half moon. It was almost a relief to become engulfed in the darkness again. He always felt most comfortable at night, as his powers lay within the shadows.
Seconds later Ochiro reformed in the midst of the vicious battle taking place deep in the forest. Ariko seemed to have already gotten a decent start on the bloodshed, but there were plenty more to go around. Too many.
Grimly Ochiro turned to face a charging dragon like creature, dodging a blast of fire and casually grabbing it around the throat with one hand and slicing through it's neck with the other.

*CRACK!* A whip cracked a few times as she saw Orchiru. She cracked the whipa again and again at demon after demon. She'd lost her hair knives by then. Byut as the wip cracked and touched a demons skin, it would fall and die buring alive. "Thx...but no thx! I don't any held I hope you know!" *Crack Crack Crack* a few more demons fell and died.

Teardrop ignored her. She was trying to pry the egg from Baylor's arms. For a human this guy has a pretty ok grip on that egg.... Why does he care about it anyway? It really bothered her.

"Back off Tear!"
Without thinking, he chomped down into her hand, trying to get her to let go. He then yanked the egg from her grip.
"What does it matter to you anyways?! It seems like you're always afraid or unhappy around anything that's different from you!"

Ochiro slashed through a some more demons, until one managed to sneak up behind him to give him a nasty bite on the shoulder. "Damnit." He cursed, throwing the offending demon off. "This is getting stupid." He vanished into the shadows once more, then reappeared high up in a tree.
A deep look of concentration crosed his face as he raised his hands to point at the mass of raging demons. The shadows themselves began to rise from the ground, slowly, then building up in speed to snatch up the demons. Screams filled the air until- silence.
Ochiro lightly leapt down and walked over to Ariko. The shadows fell back into place, innocent in their complete darkness. They had swallowed the demons whole.

Teardrop yowled, surprised. "What the heck!?! You didn't have to bite me!" Her tail fluffed out, bristing, and she could barely keep it from attacking Baylor. "And that's none of your business. That thing could be some kind of monster that'll gladly eat you alive!" she growled.

Ariko had never seen that kind of fighting before. When the shadows came up she had to doge a few of them. Finally the demons were gone. She turned around and saw Ochiro. ".......nice job...." she didn't reallly know wut to say. "thx, I probably couldn't have handled hem all on my own..."She looked around finallysaw his shoulder. "Are you ok?! May I have a look?" She asked him motioing towards the bite mark.

Tear hissed, her tail bristeling even more, "Are you saying i'm afraid of that!?!" She crossed her arms. "Well, you're right about me not caring. When that thing hatches and tries to kill you, don't came asking me for help!"

Ochiro shook his head wearily. "No, it's fine.... C'mon, let's get out of here..." He made to move but stumbled, staggering onto his knees. Forcing the shadows always had taken it's toll on him, but he'd never done it before on such a large scale.

Teardrop turned back to him, her ears still back and her tail fluffed out again, and clenched her fists together. "Yeah right!b Like you could control a demon! You're just a puny human with ugly little wings! You're lucky i don't rip those right off you!"

"Oh, I'm ugly?! You should go and look in a mirror! Then you'll know what UGLY is!!" He rubbed the egg. "It's not a demon egg anyways!"
